I am wondering if EMH starts at 8 what time can guests enter the park? I know they have to start letting guests in before 8am but how early are you able to go through the turnstiles?

Thank you and what would a typical wait be for rides in fantasy land like seven dwarfs train and peter pan during morning extra magic hours? We will be visiting during a day the end of Aug when MK closes at 6 due to the Halloween party.

If you are the first to get to one of those rides, your wait-time would be near zero.
If you were to get to one of those rides near the end of EMH, your wait-time could be about an hour.

The time will vary between those extremes based on how many guests are at AM EMH and how long after the
AM EMH open time you arrive.
(It will grow rather quickly.)

Just know that on that day, the wait-times will become much longer after the park opens to all guests.

Expect lines to build very quickly for 7DMT.

it's not uncommon for the wait time for 7dmt to be at 40+ mins just a few minutes after the start of EMH. There is a huge mass of people that go straight there, so the line builds up quite rapidly. good news is that there are no FPs during EMH -- so the standby line does move faster than normal.

If you head straight to peter pan during EMH and go through the tapstyles prior to 8:00 am -- I wouldn't anticipate a line more than 30 minutes (likely less than that).

If you're going to 7DMT, be in the group of people going to the right of the castle at the hub (towards tea cups). If going to peter pan, go around the left side of the castle. you could also go through the middle of the castle if that is open -- but I don't think it is. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
