Morning EMH and touring plans

Since we haven't been to the parks since 2012 (pre FP+) and park hours aren't updated, I'm really struggling to plan the days for our trip at the end of June/beginning of July. I have been referencing easywdw for their crowd calendars and plan to visit the most recommended parks each day. The two strategies I'm considering are: arrive at the most recommended park before RD, ride the most popular rides, then begin using FP+ around 10:00 or 11:00, or: arrive before RD at the park with morning EMH, ride the most popular rides until 9:30 or 10:00, then go to the most recommended park and use FP+ and spend the rest of the day there. Which strategy would you recommend? Or is there another strategy that I haven't even considered that would work better than either of these? I would really appreciate any suggestions!

I am having the same dilemma and have made my plans using strategy #2 for the most part (start where there is morning EMH and then hop). I am taking a swim/rest break in between. For MK EMH I scheduled the FP at 10, 11, 12, and for AK & Epcot EMH, I scheduled them at the afternoon park. That was based on several tips I got but there seem to be differing points of view.

We just did #2 and it worked perfectly. We were there during a slower period, but the morning EMH at HS, AK, and EP were amazing (didn't make MK's). We got everything we wanted accomplished in no time, then had FP's starting either early afternoon or early evening. In the future we'll probably go during the hot period, so we will AM EMH, then go back to resort, then make FP's for starting around 4 or 5 (depending on park and how much we want to do other than 3 rides).

Ok great! That's what I was leaning more towards doing. I'm glad to hear that works out well. Thank you for your help!
