I will be in room 7082 on the November 9th western cruise. Visiual of myself on my verandah in the mornings with coffee and enjoying the view. Does anyone know if there is room and/or ability to have a small coffee maker in the room?

Thanks
Dave

You don't really need to - have room service deliver it or go up on deck 9. There is coffee available 24 hours a day. Why make it yourself when you can have someone else do it for you!:D

Thanks Starwood. I thought about room service too. Sometimes morning coffee for me is about 4:00 or 5:00. My visiual has me in my robe, sleep hair, unshaven, etc. not ready to go up to deck 9. It looks like room service.

AzMickey - One of the fondest memories I have of our cruise is sitting on the verandah with a cup of coffee watching the sun come up. :) You can hang your breakfast order on the outside of your door for early delivery. The croissants were pretty good too! Enjoy!

I agree with Mickey4Me.
Whenever we have a room with a verandah, we make sure to start the day with a continental breakfast out there. I can't think of a better way to kick off a magical day! Room service is great about bringing your order at the time you specify if you use the night-before order tag.

:smooth: oooohhhh..... the ol' "night before" door tag. I forgot all about that. Been awhile since last cruise. Now all I've gotta do is wait for November!

I was just thinking of bringing my favorite instant coffe along with some cans of carnation milk and having a large pot of hot water delivered early so I can make my own favorite instant coffee.

If you order coffee late the night before, believe it or not, it will still be hot the next morning. They bring it in an insulated thermos---discovered this by accident during one cruise---a pleasant surprise.

My perfect cup of coffee would a mocha latter with whipped cream --- can I get that too?

Unless you really prefer the taste of your favorite instant coffee, it's the same amount of effort for everyone involved if you order coffee or just hot water from room service, and it's delivered in the same container.

Your specialty coffee isn't listed on the room service menu (listed on Inkkognito's Platinum Castaway Club site), but I would be very surprised if they couldn't make it for you.

Something else I noticed on our January cruise on the Magic -

My DW loves the croissants with honey, once in awhile with jelly.

I checked the box and circled the choice for 'jams, jelly, and honey' for my DW to enjoy with her croissant, and they brought a couple packages of jelly.

The next evening, I checked the box and circled just the 'honey' portion of the choices, and they brought a couple packets of jelly.

After that, I would check the box for the 'jam, jelly, and honey', and I would print 'Please bring two packets of honey and jelly' and then draw an arrow up to the jam, jelly, and honey selection. It worked and my Honey got her honey.

From that point on, I always wrote it in and she always got her honey, and the guy that brought the tray got an extra buck for reading it too. We were all happier.

Hey, thanks for all the input. You all have some great ideas. I can see me now, morning coffee and of course the croissants watching the sun rise up over the ocean. Aaaahhhhhhh....... Man its gonna be a long summer!

Unless you are booked in one of the highest category rooms, your visual will need to include your packing a robe... if you're expecting a nice, fluffy, terry-cloth robe in your room, you're not going to find one.
