We dined at Morimoto Asia Friday night. First, they are already equipped to accept the dining plan. I don't have details but they did have the ability to accept it.
We had the Sake Sangria (VERY drinkable....dangerous and delicious)
Pork Dumplings (pretty standard for steamed dumplings, nothing outstanding)
Kalbi Shortribs (the absolute standout item of the evening)
Chicken Lo Mein (good, the chicken had a nice crispiness)
Long Beans (also a standout. Yes they are greenbeans. Don't underestimate them!)
We had the MM Parfait for dessert. It was unexpected and wonderful. I cannot even describe it, but you should order it. Not overly sweet, so many layers of texture.
Overall, our dinner was just under $100 for two. We could have done without one of the entrees or fed a 3rd person on what we ordered.
Service was wonderful, the only glitch were the giggly girls that bring items out from the kitchen and obviously did not have the table numbers memorized. They seemed very out of place in the environment, not the same level of service we experienced in the serving staff, the host staff and even the gentleman who constantly refilled our water and cleared tables. I guess they will eventually memorize the tables.
The restaurant is stunning. They did tell us they were not fully booking on reservations alone, so walkups are possible, at least for the time being.
