More trip insurance questions please

I've since learned (from another thread) that I need to get trip insurance very soon to meet the pre-existing conditions qualifications and I have some questions.

I'm looking at www.insuremytrip.com, which seems to be the best place from all I've read. When requesting a quote, what do I include in the total trip cost (non-refundable portion)? I don't want to be forgetting anything. I know the total cost of the cruise, one night hotel and an estimate of what our airfare will be. What about excursions? Should I include that? If so, since we don't know what excursions we'd be doing, I guess I could just do an estimate.

Do most people include a number on the "medical limit" line? If so how much? I don't know if our health insurance provides any coverage for out of the country (can't call them till after the holiday). Is that the line that would include coverage for medical evacuation?

Can I request another quote with higher/lower limits if what comes back doesn't seem acceptable? How long before you get quotes? Is it instant?

The quotes are instant and come in a graph to compare. Then you can select a few to compare in more depth, side by side. I never put in a medical limit but instead just see what comes up. You can go back and change the amounts of coverage to see where the price point is. For us I think a price for $8400 of coverage was the same as $9999, but 10K went up. We don't have to fly to the port, so I didn't have to guess at airfare, luckily.

Excursions are pricey, but not sure of their cancellation policy. Read the DCL website to get that information. Figure an extra amount to cover them if you need to.
