We're heading to Universal over Spring Break with the kids and another family. In all, we'll have our 6 y.o. girl, and then an 11 y.o boy, 13 y.o. boy and two 15 y.o. boys. I thought we'd need more than one day, but probably not two full days. I haven't been to Universal since the late 80's, so would love insight from others who have been more recently.
TIA

You don't even need an entire day to do USH. Last June my g/f and I did the entire park plus rode a few rides more then once and by 4PM we were ready to leave. Trust me, you don't need 2 days for the park.

No you do no need 2 day in the parks. One day is more then plenty. USH is not like USF where there is like waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more to see and do. I can basically count the rides on one hand, there are a few shows to take in thats are just ok, but the backlot tram tour is a not miss. Thats a cool tour to take in. All the action happens on it, and it will be the most action you see all day.

There is the Universal City walk with shops, restaurants, movie theaters etc. and that can totally kill some time in a good way. But its not going to take you 2 days to see the entire park and city walk included even with kids.
