More than 1 Home Resort?

Can you have more than one home resort? If so, do you have to have enough points at one home resort to book the entire stay to take advantage of the 11 month window? For example, can you buy 200 points at VWL and 200 points at OKW, then book a 2 bedroom villa at the 11 month window at VWL for a stay that will cost you 350 points? Or, can you only book a stay up to 200 points at the 11 month window at VWL and hope that you can add-on days to your stay at the 7 month window?

No all you would be able to use is the 200 from your the reort you are trying to book.The other 200 could not be used till 7 months out.

Can you have more than one home resort?

Yes, I currently have 4 home resorts, but will have 6 when I am finally able to add-on at GCV @ DLR and KTR @ WDW.

Having two home resorts just requires a bit of difference in your planning. For example, we have 380 points at OKW and only 69 at AKV. Those 69 at AKV allow us to bank and borrow so that we can book a nice stay there every third year. Now, we CAN wait until the 7 month window and book another resort with our OKW points, but it is more of a gamble to do it that way.

No all you would be able to use is the 200 from your the reort you are trying to book.The other 200 could not be used till 7 months out.

you could also bank or borrow so that you were using 350 VWL pts - 200 from this use year and 150 borrowed from the next use year, for example - for the VWL reservation. but you can't use OKW pts to book VWL until the 7 month window.
