My store manager just called to tell me that she was notified this morning that more things went on sale at TDS. All of the "souvenir" items that are $10 and less are on sale for 5 for $10. That includes key chains, candy, balls, antenna toppers, (probably magic towels), and all the stuff that is usually on the small souvenir fixture near the registers.

thanks, mal...leaving work early to stop by. Shhh, don't tell the boss.

thanks for the heads up!

I need a new antenna ball someone pulled the feet off my new Mickey one! ARGGGGGGG

I went over today. I was interested in the 5 for $10 deal. My store only had a small basket of mostly broken merchandise left. Are they going to quit carrying items such as these?

Also, I was looking for the $4.99 beach towels. I didn't see any and when the CM asked to help. I mentioned I wanted some beach towels. He somewhat reluctantly pulled one out from a cabinet. He said it was his last one. I was pleased to get it, but why was he hiding it? What's up with that? I guess I should have just asked him.

I got a Pooh art set and also a very nice Princess sweatshirt 50% off. Stocking up for Christmas gifts!

He was probably hoping to buy it at the end of his shift. CMs can't hold things overnight like guests can, but sometimes we put things aside to buy when we're done with our shift.

Just got back from our DS and I got some great things.

Pooh and Piglet pen and small note book keychain set Reg $10
Buzz Lightyear talking phone Reg $5
Pooh flip phone/calculator
Little Mermaid floating key chain
Pooh handheld fan w/ cord (one that goes around your neck)
Pooh light (great for dark rides)

I can't remember all the reg. prices...sorry. I want to say that all of them were at least $5 and up.

At our store they had tons of the jelly suckers and reg suckers. Also, pens, magic towels, mint tins, antenea toppers, tons of key chains, box of stickers, and much more.

Hope this helps everyone!
Michelle

I took advantage of the "all souveniers $2 when you buy 5 or more", yesterday! They had these great pens with clips to hang from your backpack with little notebooks with them...normally $10 apiece....I got 6 of them! Talk about your $48 savings. I am saving them for Christmas for DD's teachers, and stocking stuffers!

There haven't been any $4.99 towels in our store for about 2 weeks. They had adult teeshirts and sweatshirts for 50% off and kids sweatshirts for 50% off. Talking Buzz, Woody and Jessie were 14.99, regularly 19.99...even the Patriotic Buzz! Kids teeshirts were 2 for $15 and pajamas were 2 for $29. Why buy one and pay the extra when you can get 2 for such a bargain?

I went today to take advantage of the $2.00 sale and got quite a few things for DD's Christmas stocking.

Also got two t-shirts for 50% off for me. One of Pooh and one of Tigger and Eayore.

Also bought 50% off Princess jewelry, bath set, and a purse for DD. (All for Christmas) And a princess sweatshirt at 50% off.

Thanks for the heads up on this. I went to the Disney Store in Bridgewater, NJ today and they had a good selection. I stocked up for our upcoming trip in October. I like to give my girls a surprise every day and now I am all set.

I also did the Beauty and the Beast deal by spending $50 and pre-ordering the DVD, I now have a $10 gift card to go back and buy more stuff!

How long will this run for?? I won't get to the Disney store until NEXT Saturday. Guess it really won't matter, nothing will be left anyway **SIGH** I wish we had a Disney Store locally.

We bought 4 pens and one Halloween Mickey Antenna Topper for $10. Also picked up Monsters Inc presale with lithographs, The Rookie and Return to Neverland. Got the free lithographs, $10 gift card, $7 off with DC membership, plus a coupon for $10 off when you buy a Disney halloween costume the week of Sept 17-24.

No idea how long the sale prices will last. A CM at our store says that they find out about what is on sale when they come in in the morning, and they also find out things are off sale the same way. No real way of predicting.

I got those light up spinning Buzz light year! The one that sells in the park for $16! They sell for 10 in the store! I bought 19! For my son's party favors! I am so excited! I usually get junk from Oriental trading! Spend way more than $2 per kid
I did feel really bad a women saw my basket filled and wanted to know if I really needed all of them! But I kept them all! Even the CM said don't give them up! LOL!
Plus I bought some other stuff and got the $10 gift card with the Monster inc movie!

Also when you buy 5 or more souveniers, including candy, key chains, etc (value up to $10) you can get them for $2 apiece!

We purchased Buzz and Woody beach towels back in mid July for $9.99 each. Great deal for any beach towel but these were especially cute. We were surprised to see them on sale so early in the "season". One was a birthday gift for our 5 yo and the other will be a Christmas gift for his little brother.
