More site woes

I swear, I am getting SOOO frustrated with this website!

I go looking for a 7pm ADR, so I put in the date, time, party size, etc. Up pops an 8:30. No, not gonna work. So I back it down to 6pm. Oh look, there's a 7:45. Hm, maybe. I enter 5pm and lo and behold, there is the 7pm ADR I was looking for in the first place! What the heck?

Is this happening to anyone else? I am about to lose my mind here.

I noticed that too... It seems to give you the least desirable times within the search range, rather than the closest match to what you searched for. I was looking for a 7pm dinner at Teppan Edo and only got results after 8pm when I used 7 as my search time, but I didn't want a conflict with Illuminations so I backed that search time up to 5:30 and suddenly the first result it returned was the 7pm I wanted. And that happened twice more when I was looking for relatively specific times... First an opening time ADR for Sci-fi (that one was funny, I had to enter a search time before the restaurant opens to get the pre-noon ADRs to show up) and again looking for Boma for after AK closes in the evening.

The new system just plain stinks.

I wonder if the system is "helpfully" translating our computers' local time to Eastern time? I seem to have to put in times 2 hours earlier than desired and I'm in Mtn time (2 hours behind Orlando).

In any case, I did FINALLY get all my current ADRs into the new site. Now I can concentrate on all my rearranging.

I have only three more ADR's to make for our May trip. I have tried two different laptops for 24 hours & keep getting Donald Duck telling me the server is down. Anyone else not able to get the site not to work @ all?? So frustrating!!

Since the switch to the new site, the Dining Reservations page does not work for me at all. I can get to the page but anytime I try to actually do anything, the page times out and I get a "not responding" message. I have tried everything - clearing my cache, etc and nothing works. I want to scream.

I've discovered that the ipad and iphone apps work WAY better for making dining reservations than the website does.

I think once the website is working smoothly it'll be fantastic. In the meantime I want to scream.

I am sorry that you are also so frustrated but it does make me feel a little better knowing that I am not alone!

The one upside I've noticed:

Even though I'm working on making our 4th of July week reservations, I've been able to get everything that I want (including Ohana, Chef Mickey, CRT, and BOG) within 30 minutes of the times I had wanted.


Probably because nobody can make the site work, and the hold times for phone reservations are 40-60 minutes

I have been trying for days to get some ADR.s with no luck. Keeps come up server is too busy or down for maintenance How is anyone getting through to get their ADR's. It seems from the forum dicussions that some can get through but most can not. Hoped this is fixed soon otherwise I need to know what I am doing wrong.

I ended up having to call a few of mine in. Otherwise, try the website at really odd hours of the day/night.
