More scheduled closures listed

Hi all

Not sure if anyone's already mentioned this but I've just checked on the DLRP Magic site and it lists some more closures.

So far we have:

September:
Art of Animation - 10th to 14th
Rock 'N' Roller coster - 25th
Disney Railroad Train refurbishment - from 1st onwards

October:
Casey Jnr - from 29th onwards
Disney Railword train refurbishment - all month
Indiana Jones - 1st to 12th
Small World - 1st to 12th

November:
Casey Jnr - 1st to 9th
Disney railroad train refurbishment - all month
Honey I Shrunk the Audience - 12th to 16th
Pirates of the Caribbean - 19th to 30th
La Taniere du Dragon - 12th to 23rd

December:
Big Thunder Mountain - 10th to 14th
Space Mountain - 4th to 6th


I'm a bit disappointed as Pirates of the Caribbean will be closed when we go as we though DS would enjoy it more this time, but still as long as Small World isn't closed when we go, I couldn't bear to see my little boys face if we couldnt go on that!!

damn what a shame small world is closed when we go actually although i think we can cope DS is looking forward to it so i daren't tell him.

Feeling very lucky as knowing my luck thunder mountain would have been shut again.

Have noticed the tarzan show is not on when we go next month and it appears to have finished in August, anyone know if there will be anything replacing it?

Small World closed??? I'm devastated!!! I love that ride, it makes me want to cry with happiness by the end (how sad am I???)

I am so glad that we booked for the 1st week of December rather than the 2nd. DD would have been devasted if BTM had been closed when we were there.

(Then again, thinking about it, when I booked the person taking my booking told me about the scheduled closures because she advised us to ride Space Mountain on our first day if we wanted to ride it.)

The official Disneyland Paris website doesnt list the train as closed.....i hope its still working when we go next week.

I can't believe POTC is closed

and the railroad too, mind you we're always promising to go on the train, see the queues and walkinstead.

As I read it on DLRP Magic - it's just the CK Holliday that's out of service for refurbishment stonfiesta, will keep my fingers crossed for you.

It says on the website next to the Disney railroad train refurbishments - C.K Holliday. So maybe someone can clear up what that means. Is it the name of one the trains? Does that mean that the railroad is open and just that train is being refurbished? Sorry if I've confused everyone.

There are 4 locomotives at DLRP, so I'm hoping that it just means that the CK Holliday only is being removed.

CK Holliday is one of the locos.

Oh No We are there second week of Dec. Will have to make sure we ride BTM on our first day otherwise DD is going to be very, very sad, especially as I believe they no longer have the Belle Musical Medley on over Christmas season either which she has already been disappointed about. BTM is her favourite ride and she is so looking forward to it.

Glad it looks like the railroad won't be totally closed in October, I can certainly live without It's A Small World!

As long as Pirates of the Caribbean, Buzz and Phantom Manor are open I'll be happy.

Jill thanks for clearing that up about the trains! Yes looks as if just one train is being refurbished so all others should be running.

They always keep you hoping that they are going to stay open - and then close them about the beginning of November!! I don't believe that this year will be any different!

But I shouldn't complain, I'm only going to miss out on HISTA and the Dragon for one day of our visit. And it looks like I'll finally get to see Cinemagique

Going 1st of October:

NO!!! Can't believe it's A Small World is going to be closed, so looking forward to riding it with our girls. Anybody I know who has been, has been raving about it. I'm so disappointed.

#wow. that's a lot of refurbishments in the next few months. yeah...can understand thunder closed, that really needs a refurbishment (keeps breaking down). i think the one that shocks me is the disney railroad, strange they actually refurbish that. it's a train...does it really matter how it looks?. as for it's a small world, that's a lovely ride. i hope it's not ruined by this refurbishment

I thought DS's would be upset about POTC, but I got the reply at least it's not Buzz, DH said he's glad he's not coming then, because it's his favourite and I realised I probably won't get to see Captain Jack again.

I just looked at the DLRP website for the days I will be there. I looked up September 23rd, for example, and under operational updates, they had Space Mountain listed but had the dates from the 6th to the 7th...Does anybody know anything about Space Mountain rehabbing during September? It sounds odd to me but I'm just checking with those who might know! Thanks!!!
