More released entertainment discounts!!

I'm pretty excited as I just called Loews and was able to get an entertainment rate of $135 pool view for my 2/20-2/22 dates. I'd called several times and the cheapest I could get was (Garden View) $206. Then I was able to get it for $179 (GV) on quikbook. I read a post last night where someone was able to get ET rate for next week and tried again, and sure enough the rate was available. I'm very thankful to that poster for letting us know! We will definitely stay here now!

What hotel did you get ? Nice rate! I guess maybe it isnt a bad idea to check last minute since they may open more entertainment rates up if occupancy is less than they anticipated.
Smart on their part! A lesser rate sure beats an empty room.

Just got entertainment card rate for the Portofino Bay Hotel for $155 plus tax for August 22-24! Great deal for a standard room!

I'm sooo excited! I just got the entertainment rate tonite for HRH for my trip april 6-12. Have been calling and calling, and the cheapest they had was 229/night. I was able to find a 199/night rate on quikbook, but now i got a rate of 125/night! I guess they did just release them, because i could have had my choice of room type, garden, pool, or deluxe. i chose garden because of other posts.

they quoted me 125 for garden, 135 for pool, 160 deluxe. I am about to burst!!!

Did you call HRH directly or ?? And did they happen to mention any minimum nights for the discount?? We are only staying two nights and it seems hit or miss if they are giving the entertainment rate for few than four nights. Thanks!

I see that in my excitement I did forget to mention the hotel! We are staying at the Hard Rock. I don't think there is a 4 night ENT min anymore. At least, not at the moment. I'm only staying two and I'm wondering if that rate was suddenly available to me (after being told it wasn't many times) because they have lifted the 4 day min. Whatever the reason, I'm very happy with the rate. I did not call the hotel directly. I was told that they don't have an "in house " reservation system. I called the Lowes reservation # and there was no mention of a min on the nights.

I called the 1-800-BEASTAR phone number which I guess is central reservations for HRH, PBH, & RP. They asked which of the three resorts I was interested in. I also told him I already had reservations and he just modified my existing one. Didn't talk about minimum number of nights, since I said I needed six nights anyway.

We have reservations at HRH for December 22-25. After reading this post, I tried to see if I could get the ent. rate, They did have it available for the 22-24, but not for the club level, which is what we have booked. I thought about switching, except we have a pretty good fan club rate ($216) and I didn't think it would be worth switching. The only discounted rate avaliable for 12-24 was AAA, which was not that great of a discount, but every little bit counts! Anyway, my point is that they would have been more than happy to give me the ent. rate for only 2 nights.

shedly- Wow!!! You got a great rate I just tried and was told it was not available. I am going 4/17 to the 23rd. and no such luck. I asked if there were any more Ent rates available for your dates and was told no. I'll keep trying.

I called yesterday for a friend. They still had entertainment rates for the RP left for 4/18 -4/22. I didn't check any other dates. They did say they had less than 5 rooms left at the $125 rate for waterview.

just booked HRH 4/18 - 4/25 and got ent rate for poolview of $218 incl tax per night and it includes 2 adult us/ioa passes for the week.

1 800 Be A Star. I made my reservations with 1 800 Loews 12 for the Loews first perks though.

I booked last night at RPH at $110/nt standard for June 13th and June 14th. HRH was not available

I asked about minimum nt stays and was told it depended on the time of the year and which days it is.

I'll try calling back and may be able to get HRH.

It seems to make a difference who you call. When I call the Loews number I get a rate of $183.00 (for May 1-5, HRH) for a deluxe room, AAA rate. When I call the hotel numbers, I get a rate of $230.00, AAA rate. Very weird.

I booked HRH awhile back for December 5 and 6 and could only get the Fan Club rate of $146 for a Garden room. She said it was a 4 night minimum for the Entertainment rate and I had also read about this here. I had almost given up but I thought I'd check here once a day to be sure no one was getting it for less than 4 days...

I read this thread today and decided to call, it can't hurt! Well, she came back with $125 standard view with no mention of the 4 night minimum!!! I was so happy! She also mentioned the $135 for pool view (I'm hoping for a Loews upgrade and if not, garden view is fine) and $160 deluxe.

Thanks again. I've saved so much money surfing these boards!!! I love it. I get to tell my husband that my surfing these boards has paid off yet again!

Thanks for the information everyone! I had reservations at RPR for 8-22-03 for 2 nights at fan club rate of $139 + tax. I was able to get Ent rate of $110 + tax for a garden view for the 2 days! I believe a poolview was available for $125 + tax.

I decided to check on HRH for the same dates and was told it was not available. The reservationist checked further and found a 3-night minimum stay is required for HRH if the check-in date is on a Friday (which my dates happen to be). I don't know if there are any other days with minimum stay requirements. If I wanted to book 3 nights, garden view was $125 and a deluxe room was available for $160.00.
