More questions about Disney Visa...

Does the 6 month 0% APR for trips start when you get the card or when you pay for your trip? I won't be going to Disney until November of next year and I wanted to apply for a Disney Visa now, before Christmas. But, I want to have that 0% APR to pay off my trip and the balance isn't due until Sept. Do I need to wait until it's almost time to pay off the balance?

Also, does this 0% trip APR apply to only your first trip? If we want to go again the following year, or in a few years, doe we get 0%APR for 6 months for that trip, too?

The 0% applies to all packages. You get 6 months for the deposit and then 6 months from when you make the final payment.

When you get your card, and until they change it, your first 6 months are 0% interest on any purchase. After that if you use your Disney Visa to pay for a disney vacation, and I'm pretty sure it has to be booked thru disney, you get 6 months 0% on those also. That's anytime you book with the visa thru disney. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm way off..

I just got my card in the mail today. It's 0% until Jan 29, 09 on everything!!! Including my Dec trip I'm putting on it. And I was told today when I activated it that at any time in the future my Disney package will be 0% from date of purchase, not date of trip, for 6 months. HTH

What if the final payment due (45 days before arrival) exceeds or is close to your credit limit on the card I think I am going to do payments instead of one big lump sum at one time.

I received my card a week ago and we have 0% for 12 months on everything, so if taking a trip within 6 - 7 months, I don't think the 0% for 6 months for the vacation package booking is really needed.

OH! So you only get the 0% APR if you book actually through Disney? I booked through AAA.
