Ok for the newbie here what do you mean by this, is this a click thing or do you have to purchase something, or is this something that you can get after you trade in your points?

It's a free one, just like click fix. In fact there is a Gateway on click fix, but both award.

I've found the the new symbols are very helpful. Orange with and arrow is the click and earn. The red star is sign up and earn. There is a light blue one too, that's a learn and earn, but I've yet to see one other than in the index area.
