Last year at Epcot we bought a Disney sling backpack (not sure if this link will work but here 'tis)
http://laughingplacestore.com/Product-5820.asp

Now I'm wondering if I should buy a Baggallini large wallet bag http://www.ebags.com/baggallini/wal..._nylon/product_detail/index.cfm?modelid=18642 for use instead or in addition (eg: if DH will carry the Disney one), or if I should get the Baggallini messenger style one that's been posted about a lot.

The Disney one is heavy canvas, but hey, it's Disney. Has a small pocket in front for passes and chapstick and tiny stuff. Also has a cell phone pocket on the strap and another zip pocket inside for more tiny stuff. The part against the back is super padded and comfy.

Anyone seen or used more than one of these 3 bags who can advise? TIA. I can't stay off the boards today. Too excited about our upcoming trip. Wahooooooooo.

The bag in your post is the one I'm thinking of getting. What do you like/dislike about it and how much stuff will it hold ? Is the stuff accessible ?Thanks

Hi DAPford,

I like how easy it is to swing around to the front, how it will fit 2 pr flip flops, 2 fleece sweaters, maps, camera, food, a large bottle of water inside the big part. I like how padded the back is (like a laptop would be protected in there :) I like how cute the Disney embroidery is too. Also, I like the small pocket on the front and the cell phone pocket on the strap. It fits well on either me or my DH.

Really, there isn't anything I don't like except maybe maybe how big it is. I'm just looking to see if there's something smaller that would still be big enough for me. Also, it's not at all heavy, but I bet the nylon baggallinis would be lighter.

Hope this helps. BTW it seems like we paid less in the park than it goes for on laughing place but then they have to charge to go get it.

Here's my problem though. I want something I can carry either on the front or side. I don't want it in my way, and I want it big enough to hold cameras, snacks, water, etc. Does a bag such as this exist? I've got 55 days y'all! Does anyone have a suggestion?

The bag that I listed above can be worn to the side it is kind of made to carry that way. It has a water bottle holder on the side. It has a front zip compartment with card slots. Then there is a small velcro pouch on front. There is a bid inner section then there is a zipper section on the back that would be right along your body to keep papers maps or money in. I ordered 2 off ebags and decided to keep one. It was very easy to return one they sent me a return label to UPS it. Good luck

Are either of these bags big enough to carry and extra pair of shorts/shirts for 2 kids and two adults?

I think that is is going to work great, very roomy. Also I purchased the Eagle Creek Milano which I will use for the days I don't need to take as much......hope this helps

I am plus-sized and often, these types of bags don't work well for me. Is the strap generous in length? I read a bunch of reviews somewhere and a couple people noted that they couldn't get it tight enough, which could be good news for me!

The Milano I would definately say no for the amount of room.....But the Baggallini one I could put shirts and shorts for my kids but not enough room for me or hubby. There is a generous strap on this one. I am not a tiny girl either and I needed the strap extended for over the chest and all and it fit perfect this way.

I would probably recommend a back pack or something if this bag is not big enough. Hope that this helps.
