If people knew half the stuff that is not reported or covered up they would never travel. I used to make important parts for passenger trains and it is astonishing what they would cover up and let through. I'll still fly southwest, wont bother me.

Yeah I dunno... I have no doubt that not everything is reported or made public, but it's still unnerving news. This doesn't seem like insignificant or unimportant news, so I still plan on flying elsewhere. I enjoyed flying with Southwest well enough, but I'm not enough of a fanboy to glaze over something like this.

im going to be flying jetblue out of syracuse...awesome pricing and same distance for me as buffalo. I still think that this hit on Southwests reputation is fixable...but I also see some cheaper prices for flights to try and make up some of the lost confidence...so we all could win in the end.
