More nights than park tickets?

We are heading to the FW cabins in July, and I am considering adding the DDP to our reservation.
1. I am better at paying things off than I am at saving, so I love the dining plan's "everything is paid for when we get there" approach.
2. We have 3 children, and you can't beat feeding them for only $11 per day!

We are planning on eating breakfast in the cabins, and use our credits elsewhare. However, we are staying 6 nights, but only doing the parks for 4 days. Is that going to be a problem? I figure we can just go to resort resturaunts the days that we don't go into the parks.

Not a problem!! Your dining plan is tied to the number of nights you stay and has nothing to do with the park tickets.

Not a problem. You can use the credits at the resorts or DTD.

We are in a similar position but staying slightly longer, we have tickets that mean once we start using them they run out in 14 days so we aren't going to parks the day we get there and the next day so that we can then use the tickets up to the last day. On the days we haven't got tickets for we are eating at resorts and DTD using our DDP credits.
