We will soon be taking our 5th trip on our current AP's which expire on the last day of our trip.
(No we're far from wealthy, We live in FL and camp at FW or value on AP rates)
Although I will have been on property more than 30 days this year, there is still much I haven't had a chance to do or see (For those worried 10 days will bore them, it won't
)
Alas, WDW is my thing, not my DH's and when we camp, he calls it a "working vacation, because he does most of the set up and break down while I kept my sons (2 and 6) occupied.
He also considers us (Me and you DISers) freaks because I ohh and ahh over this one's MNSSHP costume (In April), or that one's hotel reveiw, or Mister Disney's V&A pictures. I'll be reading and ROTFL (Ex. K-man in shackles) and he'll be like "You're all insane you know
"
Yesterday I booked 4 nights in October...in order to go we will have to renew our AP's(within 30 days from now to get price break) or just by park tickets in Oct. DIsney offers FL resident 3 days for the price of 2, so I say to DH. "If you dont want to renew, well just get the 3 day ticket and do something different to for our get aways next year, maybe just camp at state parks or something" (I am an RN and need to get away about every 3 months for stress releif even if only for a weekend)
And this is when he said it!!!!!!! "Why do I want to be trapped in a 17 ft POP up with those two animals (DS's
) and nothing to do?"
"Well, we talked about US/IOA or Busch" I said (DH is a thrill ride freak)
"No" he answered, "Until DS2 is big enough there's not much for him at those places. and he'll be three soon, so we'll be paying for him to spend most of the time in his stroller waiting for us to baby swap. We should just renew our passes now, and when DS2 turns 3 we'll buy him one. Disney is really the best place for kids their age"
I fell off my chair. "Okay dear, If you think it's for the best"
Now, if I can only get him to a DVC presentation on this upcoming trip
