More likely to get connecting rooms by using online check-in?

I'm heading down next week and was wondering if I should use the online check-in or check-in at the front desk? Our reservations are already linked and we both have the preferred room category at Pop Century. One complication is I reserved a roll-in shower room and those are supposed to be set aside at booking. We would love connecting rooms or at least close to each other.

So use the online check-in or go to the front desk?

Do both. Use online check in and then stop by the front desk to speak person to person. I suggest you send a fax, too.

For our last visit we were at Pop and got connecting rooms. I had request on my reservation, and did online check in.

Your rooms will be assigned 3-5 days in advance of arrival whether or not you check in online. The front desk has somewhat limited assignment powers day-of arrival.

If you haven't done so already, I would call and put the "connecting rooms" request on your reservation. You can do online check-in. If you don't get the rooms you would like, simply stop at the front desk and ask if anything is available.

Thanks guys. We did request connecting rooms when we made the reservations.

It looks like the online check-in is the way to go. So I'll check in now.
