More Hotel Questions

I have made a decision about my trip to CA. You guys will be sick of me by the time I get there, I have a million questions.
Anyway, I will arrive on May 25th and I will be staying till May 29th. I hope to arrive and see some of CA, maybe the beach near DL then drive over to the parks area. I want to do the parks on the 26-29th. Our flight leaves at 9:30 so I think we can stay at the parks till 6 then leave for the airport. does that sound ok?
I decided that I want to stay at one of the DL resorts for my birthday on the 27th so I am looking for something really cheap for the 2 nights before. I checked out bookit.com and found Alamo Inns and Suites, Castle Inn and suites, Travelodge Aneheim or Comfort Inn Maingate are all inexpensive. All say they are within 1 block of the parks so I can walk there.
On the 27th we will check into either Paradise Pier or Disneyland Resort for 2 nights till we leave on the 29th.
does anyone have any ideas on these hotels. I have no idea where the entrance to the parks are since they don't show it on the map so I want to make sure that the "next to parks" doesn't mean I can see the park from the parking lot but have to walk around 4 blocks length to get to the entrance. Thanks, more questions to come, tomorrow I start checking out restaraunts....

The DLH has the longest walk of the 3 properties (to DL), however the walk is through DTD and near the DTD monorail, so that is a perk. If you stay at the PPH, you would cut through the Grand California into DTD to go to DL and you can use the private GCH entrance to get into CA.
