More Golf Cart Questions

It's not necessary, but it really helps. Especially if you are going to be at the Fort for 3 months. However, as others have said, I would really look into renting one outside of Disney and bringing it in, it would be cheaper, and there really is no reason to rent from Disney for that amount of time (I've never even heard of anyone renting for over a month...lol).

You can get anywhere in the Fort by walking, however, if you're going to be there for 3 months, you might get sick of walking after a while (depending on where your campsite is). If you're going to be up near the front of the Fort, it definitely will be a little bit of a walk to get up to the docks/trading posts/etc...

I believe some kind of campground transportation would greatly enhance your camping at the Fort and all other campgrounds. Have you thought of electric scooters. we have done that and seen other at the Fort. they are fun and get you from here to there quite well.

Ok so I need to look into some outside rentals then lol. I like the idea of the electric scooters. And I suspect we could fit those into the trailer much easier than a golf cart lol.

I have the # of a guy who is getting into renting carts. If you are interested let me know.

You can't get anywhere in the Fort by walking,

Colson, didn't you mean you CAN get anywhere in the Fort by walking. One little apostrophe and "t" can sure change the meaning of a sentence :)

Doh!!! lol, nice catch, I just edited the original post. Yea, I meant you CAN get anywhere....lol

On the rental guy thing, I am working on it, I emailed him, and he said he is not sure when he will be ready, so stand by, I will work on it for us all.

In the mean time...theres a place called Carl's Carts...I think RvUSA has spoken with him....he rents carts for like $250 a month...his # is
Carl's Carts Inc
(863) 421-2095
4555 US Highway 17 92 W
Haines City, FL 33844

I had called carl's they were nice, but they said they were usually sold out to the snow birds in the winter. I don't know about the summer.

Renting a cart for 3 months! Lets just say there is 30 days to a month at $50 bucks a day thats $4500.00 plus tax. You could buy a pretty nice cart for that much money. Tungpo1 could probably set you up with something cheaper then that, maybe.

You could probably find a nice cart for 3500. You could always buy one like that, enjoy your trip while saving 1000 on cart rental. Then when you are ready to leave, I will come to the fort and take it off your hands. I know it's an inconvienence for me to have to come down and get a free golf cart but, If it will save you money I guess I can make that sacrifice..:lmao:
If I could get several people to let me "help" them out like that, I could become " the rental guy ".
