Today we decided to finish up MGM. It's hard to believe that when MGM first opened almost 15yrs ago, I didn't like it very much. It has certainly changed since then. I decided to go on Star Tours first. Dh has motion sickness as I mentioned, so I went alone. I wish I knew that you could ask them to do some kind of test so dh could still enjoy the ride without having to experience the motion. Well, we'll just have to go back! ;) Next was Indiana Jones. Good show but I think I've seen it too often! Backlot Tour was next. I wanted to make sure we saw it while Catastrophe Canyon was still operational. We forgot about the animation tour but we did get to do it later on the trip. We decided to have lunch outside the parks today so we took the bus to MK and took the boat to Fort Wilderness.

What a great lunch! We ate at Trail's End at Pioneer Hall. The lunch buffet was $8.99 each and the food was pretty good. They had soup, salad, fajitas, tacos, pizza, sandwiches, fried chicken, etc.... I quickly learned that my eyes were larger than my stomach! ;) Was I full! We thought we should try to work off some of our lunch so we walked to Wilderness Lodge. A nice CM stopped and offered us a ride, but we declined. Very nice of him to offer though! The Wilderness Lodge hotel really is beautiful. We had fun exploring and even got the Hidden Mickey list at the front desk. How well did we do? *drumroll....* We got ONE. Yup, a pathetic, number one! Admittedly.......we didn't spend too much time looking, but you should've seen me get excited when we found one. ;) It was the first one on the list.

We decided to begin our journey of finding our lost sunglasses. Off to TTC we went to the lost and found. This began a series of visits to the L&F. No luck today. We decided to go back to our hotel for a quick swim. Guess what? We had our first and only towel animal in our room!!!!!!! I think it was a dog but dh is convinced it was dumbo. Either way, it was such a wonderful surprise. It's amazing how the little things can get so exciting!

We decided to spend the evening in Epcot. We quickly did Test Track and the Imagination ride again before waiting for Tapestry of Dreams to begin. Dh and I have completely different feelings regarding the Tapestry parade. I LOVE it and find it very mystical. Dh tolerates it. Go figure. After the parade, we wandered through Mexico again and did the ride. We came out just in time to get a TERRIFIC view of Illuminations just to the right as you come out of Mexico. It helps that we are both quite tall so we can see over people leaning on the ledge very easily. What a terrific show. Back to the hotel, admired our dog/dumbo one last time, and out like a light!

Sounds like a great day - I will have to put Trail's End on my places to try for a meal for a future trip - thanks for posting!

down and motion ones......made him a little sleepy that is all.......try that next time......I love star tours

:D I have always wondered how Trail's End was - sounds like it was pretty yummy! Now you have me wondering if those pesky sunglasses ever did show up :) .
