We are planning for Fall 09' to return to WDW. I know the Fall is free dining, but I have a few questions about it.

1.) When is free dining normally?
2.) When does WDW annouce it?
3.) Which resorts are usually part of free dining?
4.) If I make reservations prior to the announcement can I call back and add it?

TIA

From my past experience getting free dining in 2005 & 2006

1.) When is free dining normally? Usually August through End of Sept
2.) When does WDW annouce it? Spring
3.) Which resorts are usually part of free dining? I believe any resort at least Mod and Value Resorts to my knowledge
4.) If I make reservations prior to the announcement can I call back and add it? Yes, they will give you credit back for the Free Dining (at least they did when we went in 2005

In 2007, Free Dining began in late August, I believe.

Thanks...we are waiting for 09'. Ds and I have both had surgery in the last 6 months and with being a stay at home Mom finance mandate we wait. But I can start planning a bit :thumbsup2

It has been announced the first week of april. Disney Visa holder get first dips a few days later it opens up to everyone. This year its starting a little later on 8/30. Last year it was 8/26.

The only rooms that haven't participated in the past beside DVC are the All stars family suite.

Yes, you can make the reservations and your dinning ADRs before. But call and add it as soon as it comes out. They only set aside a certain % of rooms for the free dinning offer and it does sell out.
