More FD PIN codes to be mailed out in the next few days...

My Dad just got a PIN in the mail today!!

This might be a dumb question but, if you are going to get a PIN code in the mail, then they would tell you that on the phone if you called a day or so ago, right?
Because I called on Sunday afternoon and there was no PIN associated with my name. So, chances are I'm not going to get a PIN in the mail this week, right? Because the mailing would have gone out earlier than when I called, I would think.
Just trying to talk myself through this, I guess.

The subject might read, "Free WALT DISNEY WORLD® offer".

My mother received an email PIN a couple weeks ago, and my mother-in-law received one in the mail yesterday...and I'M THE ONE who booked their past vacations! LOL! Figures...

I had already gotten an email pin May 9th (and used it), just got the snail mail version within the last few days. Same thing for my inlaws. So, weird that they are sending out the second round to people who already have it and have used it.

I got one via snail mail and DH got one via email. We finally get a FD pin that was not GP but can't use them. Oh well, does anyone know if and when any 2014 discounts (room only and/or FD) will start to come out now that the price increase has occurred? I ask because the FD pins had dates through 12/2013 so I just assumed that would be it for 2013. Still hoping for some pixie dust at least for Jan 2014. :0)

I have to wonder why people say that. My trip went down over $1800! How isn't fd free? I was going even if I didn't get this pin but now I'm paying much less. Seems pretty free to me!

It's all about perspective. While I agree with you, I can understand the argument that it's not really free.

Example: If you have a choice between room only or FD, you lose the money you'd have saved as a Room only. Now, my argument against that is.. .you're still going to have to eat something. So, it negates some of the room only savings, too.

Also, if you are planning on eating at Fast food joints you don't pay gratuity. If you have the Dining Plan or Deluxe, you are paying around 20 per meal on Gratuity (sit downs). And, if you've got kids, they always want the special cups. LOL. Our "Free" meal at BOG wound up to be around 65 dollars after special drinks and the neat drink cups ; )

But, overall, I think FD is a huge savings for US. that's the only way we'll go!
We are hoping for a Pin for Next June. There wasn't one for this June, but fingers crossed

I wonder the same thing, but I think just as people have them when they call and never get the email, possibly the reverse could happen? As in they tell you no on the phone, and you get a mail or email. At least I hope so, cause they already told me no on the phone this week.

I got the free dining pin today! I almost threw it away because the last few pins I got were for the deals they already had going on. But, opened it and it is good through 12/22. Trying to talk DH into a Christmas trip!

Same here. Starting to get tired of the waiting game. Hope at least a rumor comes out soon of a general public discount. I am not lucky enough to get a pin.

I got a FD pin in the mail last week. My friend just received one today. These were for fall dates. I decided to change our resort from ASMovies (2 rooms) to a family suite at AOA. I was hoping to get a Nemo suite, but they only have Cars open for FD. She put me down for just a general family suite with a request for a Nemo room. I called back today but still no luck. Fingers crossed.

I wondered the same thing - a friend got one and she is not using it and told me to use hers but I didn't think that would work.
