More Expensive Offsite?!

Thank you to those of you who did give specific examples. To stay offsite I would want to spend $100 of less a night for a hotel close to Disney parks. Would prefer a hotel suite. Caribe Royale does seem to fit my requirements-is it a good choice? Trip is for me, DH, DD14 and DD9. We spend most of our time in the parks but would still like an attractive hotel and nice pool.

Do you know anyone that owns a timeshare? If so and they have membership in either II or RCI, most of Orlando's timeshares are showing availability during your timeframe but you might have to adjust check in/out dates to the weekend. The rates I am seeing on II are typically under $600 for a 2 bedroom for a week.

would still go with a cheap condo that starts on fri or sun - and either not use it (sun) or fly in on thurs (for fri) and just stay in a cheap hotel near the airport that first night.

also it seems like some places are waiting until last minute.
