Going to the land of Mickey 9/23-9/30 on DDP. Couple of questions (ok maybe a few):

1. Day 3: We (me, DH & DD 4yo) are doing the princess breakfast at Epcot. Spending the day there and then dinner at Coral Reef. Is Epcot interesting enough for a 4 year old to stay there all day?

2. Same question for Animal Kingdom except it's late breakfast OOP at Rainforest Cafe with dinner at Cape May Clam Bake.

3. Is it worth going to Whispering Canyon for a meal on our "free" day or should be go to Downtown disney?

4. Where is the best place to see Ariel/Little Mermaid characters?

5. Doing the following character meals: Day 1 - CRT dinner, Day 2 - Chef Mickey's breakfast - Day 3 - Princess Storybook breakfast, Day 7 - Cinderella's Gala Feast - Day 8 (final day) Character breakfast somewhere. Question: Is it overkill with all these character meals? I'd like to get in a good mix of characters - although my DD is big time into the princesses.

Thank you!

....

#1....our youngest was 4 on our first trip to disney. Epcot was a long day for her, we rushed through. Allow her to do that tot center thing where she gets to color. We did the princess luncheon at Epcot last year...was a good break. Don't know about Breakfast.

#2 She will love 2....will be a good day.

#3 My choice, downtown disney.

#4 Don't know

#5 Can't do to many for that age.....you'll have an unbelieveable time. Enjoy it...she'll never be this age again! :)

My kids liked Epcot to a point at that age.

I'd choose Whispering Canyon Cafe over DTD anyday--I don't like DTD at all.

I don't have a young one, but I have seen kids really enjoying the Kidcot places. They color and make a mask. There is a great fountain that squirts water from the ground that kids love. Bring a change of clothes and let her get wet!

I believe the only place you can see Ariel is at Ariel's grotta in MK. There is also the "Under The Sea" show at MGM, but they are on stage, so no interaction. There's a gft shop there will all kinds of Little Mermaid things.

You could go to WC and then DTD afterwards. I would eat at WC rather than DTD, unless you go to Earl of Sandwich.

That is a lot of character meals .. but they are only little once! I hope she doesn't think princess are always supposed to be there! :)

Definately go to Wispering Canyon! It is so much fun...then head over to DTD for some exploration and shopping!

You can't do too many character meals (I'm a grown up :rotfl2: and love them!)

Looking for a last breakfast..how about Crystal Palace? Winnie the Pooh and friends hold court there! Or Ohana where Lilo and Stitch are?
