Hi Everyone,

I was sent a PM today, the person can identify themselves if they want. Since it was sent via PM, I will leave that up to them.

This DIS-VMK'er wrote a great note to The Mickey News (Mickey News, 1865 Herndon Ave, Suite K-132, Clovis, CA 93611, 559.392.2572 Phone, 559.272.0355 Fax) telling them about VMK closing.

She received a very nice reply not only in support of the players, but www.mickeynews.com also has added the save vmk today banners to their web site! Talk about a show of support!

I visited The Mickey News just now and found that on 4/9/08 they ran the "Virtual Magic Kingdom close its virtual gates" by Yavn that appeared in VMK's newsletter.

Today they ran the following, from the Press Release that is available at savevmktoday.com. Disney Poised To Shut Down Kids Online Gaming Community: VMK

They are rallying behind us. Keep on rolling everyone. There is also the ability to post a comment. Anyone up to it? The more the better.

I contacted Mickey News the day after the announcement. Dreams, I sent you a PM because sometimes I think my comments get overlooked and I wanted to make sure you saw it.

Wow, I had no idea that such a place existed 30 min or so from my house LOL. (Yeah I don't care if you guys know) Too funny. I'll have to check out their site. Yay! to whoever is was that first contacted them. I wonder if it was someone local, are there DIS neighbors I don't know about??
