OK, PC geniuses, what's going on here?

This started a week or so ago. When I launch Chrome (via Icon on the quick launch bar), when it comes up, there is no text in my bookmark bar.

Well, that's not exactly accurate. I have 16 items on my bookmark bar. Two are not folders and their text is displayed. If I go to the Chrome menu (three vertical dots) and select "New Window", a new Chrome window comes up and all the text is there.

I have tried turning off all extensions in Chrome then closing and reopening the app and get the same thing. My computer has been rebooted multiple times (not for this problem, but I shut it down every night and have had to do some reboots for software installs).

Any ideas/suggestions (without giving up Chrome)?

I would guess wait for an update to Chrome. They come often. My guess is a bug.

I haven't had the issue you are having, but I am having a different one. The last few days, when I delete my history from Chrome, it all pops back up on the page. I have to restart the computer to get them to stay gone. Very weird~~
