Okey doke ... and lots of WHEW, thank goodness for miracles :rotfl2:

Following up the DD's passing her driver's test three weeks ago and her prom two weeks ago, we arrived last night at the culmination of the trifecta, which was the celebratory party attended by all the major players in our lives over the last twenty years! In fact, we were only missing her godparents (Bob & Neil), who had the graduation of their own son to attend.

Family and friends drove and flew in from OK and FLA, friends whom we love, but hadn't see in a bit, reemerged from the chaos that busy lives can become to gather with us again, all sins were forgiven :), all ties reaffirmed, and it was as close as I think I'll ever get to heaven this side of the eschaton.

Wonderful, magical night, a highpoint in lives that have been blessed with many.

Here are a few snapshots ...

Woohoo!

When's the disney trip? Will we get to see pictures of that, too?
(I seem to recall you mentioning a graduation trip at some point in the past.)

Woo-Hoo, back at ya! Thanks, friend.

What a memory you have - yes, indeed, there was supposed to be a disney graduation trip, but my daughter and her posse decided that they'd prefer to travel to Ocean City, Maryland for the week - typical!

They took off at 5 am this morning and just called - so they're safe, for the moment!!!

Oh my Goodness! These are the good times and this is the best stuff! I know you will cherish these memories in you heart forever, Dear Friend.

Ah...growing up and choosing to party without the parents...shucks!

What a beautiful child. Except she's not a child anymore, is she Mom? Congratulations on her success to both to all three of you!

Thank you for sharing the joy with us. The photos are lovely.

Congratulations Viki! :thumbsup2

Such great things gonig on in your house these days!

She's all grown up now!

... Dear daughter is home from the senior week events at Ocean City, Maryland ... I'm relieved ... but, of course, that means she's back in town, drivin' my car ... :(

Oh, well, guess I'm no longer in control :( ....

Isn't it so hard to let go??? My oldest daughter still lives with me, goes to school and works...but she's more like a roommate than my "kid". Bless her, she still checks in with me when she's out, just so I don't worry. My youngest lives in NYC and calls me about three times a day...she's an amazing and responsible young woman, but I still wish I could hold her in my arms and rock her like a baby.......sigh.

Congratulations on your beautiful daughter! Hold her in your heart and never let go!

Yes, it's so true, with DD 18, graduated from HS, and driving and with DS just a year behind her we've entered, yet again, a whole new stage of life.
