and I really didn't have to trudge--Dad drove me to the station, I waited for the train in the warm waiting room, and then I just had to walk across the street to the office.
here too! It's so nasty. I've got to think of something really warm to make Ryan for lunch when he comes home.

Alyssa's school is letting them wear other clothes today and the rest of the week because of the dangerous cold, I was hoping they would just let them stay home so I wouldnt have to go out
Don't worry, summer will be here before I know it and then I'll be the one suffering with temps in the 100's!!!

That's good that they're letting them wear clothes but too bad they can't just stay home. Although, then you'd be like us having to make them all up in June. As much as I don't want to go out in this, I really don't want the kids in school all summer either. Or at least that's what I'm telling myself
OMG we finally got a day off !! it's not a snow day though, it's a cold day !! apparently most schools in Chicago are off
And yeah..... we would definitely need a cab
