The first one (Fooling Yourself) I had no clue. Never heard it.

But then the other two, Come Sail Away and The Best of Times, I knew those. Then I was searching around youtube and I also knew:

Babe (LOVE that one)

So now I am listening to all these old songs from them, Journey, Chicago, Air Supply, etc.

Of course, I was just a young child when many of those came out.

I'm getting paid for the extra hours, I'm not sure if I'll get time & a half. I was out of the office 2 days for jury duty. When we're out sick or take a vacation day, we have to 'make up' the hours before we get time & a half. I'm not sure what they do if you're out for jury duty. I guess I'll find out in 2 weeks, when I get paid. But no matter what, I'll get paid extra, my raise kicked in so I'm getting more anyway. Plus they bring us bagels for breakfast & buy us lunch. And I'm leaving at 3, going to Red Lobster for dinner, and I'm getting myself a nice alcoholic drink when I'm there. And the Mets are in 1st place, so I'm really a happy woman today.

I woke up to a dishwasher full of dirty water. But, yesterday, the garbage disposal started leaking and DH put in a new one. 3 guys, beer, and one new disposal later.....they forgot to take out the plug where the dishwasher tube connects!

As luck would have it, DH is out until this afternoon. I tried , but I can't seem to get it out myself. grrr

I usually get some shrimp, but today I'm kind of in the mood for fried flounder.

We're going out to dinner tonight with 2 other couples. It's a package deal--a limo takes us to and from MD to a dinner on the water. We can bring beverages in the limo, and we can all drink! I can't wait.

Next week will be nuts, including an endoscpy to see if I really have an ulcer , and both DS11 and DS8 having teeth pulled for braces. BUT..then I'm using DH's airline miles and hotel pts to (try to) go to Ft Lauderdale with a friend for a spa weekend. I say "try to" because the last time we tried this, we sat in the airport for 12 hours while our flight was continually delayed for one reason or another. We finally gave up and came home.

I think I might be Eeyore...anyone see a black cloud above my head??

You do have a crazy week ahead, good luck with your endoscopy, whats with the good vibes on having an ulcer I think you need that spa weekend, think good thoughts at the airport so you can make it this time !!! delays suck !
