More Bad News, Universal This Time!

I have been AP holder for 4 years and done BTTF so many times. Just got back after 25 nights in Florida did not do it once even though we knew it was closing soon. It had only lines of 15-20 mins but did not think worth it, its dated and boring compared to things like Mummy, Shrek and MIB, hopefully they will carry on replaceing older attractions.

I think it's a shame they are closing it in a way, I used to really like the ride , however, more recently I have found it far too jerky and rough, I think they should have considered just smoothing & updating it.

We felt the same about Kongfrontation,as much as I like the Mummy ,I would rather that Earthquake had been replaced
Me too. I didn't get to ride Kongfrontation until my 3rd or 4th trip - it was always down (either for rehab or just broken down! :teeth: ). I think it was an engineering marvel, despite the glitches. I loved it.

Went to US on August 12th and the staff were telling everyone Back to the future was closing this was your last chance to ride it. Nothing about ET closing that is incorrect, They mentioned three things replacing it, and I will not repeat that as I feel if they knew they wouldnt have given three options.

I asked why Kong went and then the remake came out, they said very good question, so I said I presume Back to the future 4 is being made now!

OK one of the three was the Simpsons!

We were not given 3 options just told it was Simpsons related last week. Never seen Simpsons so that means nothing to me. I thought they were around about 5 years ago didn't know they were still big.

I will never forget the first time we went of BTTF my Mom thought we were on a rollacoaster! She was so scared it was hillarious! I love this ride it will be sad to see it go.
