It looks as though we will be going to DW for about 7 to 8 days and I was wondering if it would be worth it for my husband or I to get an annual pass. We are going to be there in Jan. and I would hope there would be some lodging discounts because we are hoping to get a delux for the price of a moderate room.

Or, is the annual pass a waste of money because there will already be discounts on lodging?

It really depends on the time of accomodations you are planning on. For example, if you are staying at the All Stars, your savings over general discount codes might only be another $10 per night. If you stay at a moderate or deluxe, then your savings will be greater! If you plan on using your Pass for the full 8 days, then it is definitely worth it as you break even on the 8th day. Also, keep in mind that you don't need to have an annual pass to make a room reservation, you can check the pricing (for both the room and the passes) and then decide which is the most economical choice.

Thant is good to know about the rates--I thought for sure you would have to have a Pass number or something!! Okay! Great.

Thanks

If you plan an annual vacation to WDW, get one for this trip and next year's trip...just make sure to return before day 366
