We are going to purchase an annual pass (use to have one years ago) for our December trip. We go twice a year so I think it's worth it.

Anyway, I don't understand this "voucher" situation. Do we have to present an activated pass (meaning we passed through the gates before checking in) at check-in? Or, can't we just purchase an Annual Pass at the Disney Store or AAA or somewhere and bring it to check in (unactivated)?

I'm very confused. Any help would be appreciated.

Oh - and what's the cost for an adult pass. Just regular theme park pass - no extras.

Thanks everyone - you guys know everything.

Thanks Dan. Man...AP's are much more expensive than I thought - and quite complicated. But, I got approx. $100 off a night at the Beach Club and for our second trip using the pass...well, it's free.

What to do???

They will accept the voucher at check in. However, I have never been asked to show an AP or voucher when checking in, ever. A couple of times I asked them if they wanted to see it. So they did look at it then, but they didn't really care.
