More ADRs than in DDP

We've made more ADR's than our DPP would theoretically pay for... we're ok with paying for the extra meals out of pocket, but wondering if Disney will 'cancel' any of these b/c is past the 7 TS allowed in the DPP. Am I worried over nothing?

You could upgrade to the DxDP.

Thanks for the suggestion, but its only for 2 meals.. we've got 8 meals planned, one of them at CRT which = 9 TS, for the 2 TS its not worth it..
Good thought though!

In the past we have pre-paid OOP for CRT. We think of it as a self imposed dining plan extension.

Not to worry. We often have twice the amount of TS meals reserved. They really don't care how you pay for them, whether with credits or cash. They only have issues when you have 2 ADRs reserved for near the same time under one name (I've been told, but never really experienced this).

DDP is a method of payment only and has no relation to whether or not you may make or keep ADRs. If you have more reservations than you have dining plan credits, when you arrive for your extra meals, you will be expected to pay for them some other way than by using dining credits. The reservation system does not track how many dining credits you have or how you use them.

CRT, you would have to pay for in full at the time you book, if you do not intend to use dining credits to pay for it. Make sure the reservationist knows you are paying for this one with cash.

I just wanted to say have a great time, have fun and enjoy in your upcoming trip. Looking forward in hearing more from you after you came back.

Have a nice day everyone. :)

Is there any advantage to paying for CRT with cash instead of my DPP credits?
