morning everyone.

Guess what......it is overcast and the drizzle is drizzling......geesh.....a whole week of yucky weather......I know there are alot of states that could use this stuff......but I am getting mildewed....hahaha

Dog woke us up at five thirty and then hubby started to pat her and she got on her back with her feet in the air and asked for her belly to be rubbed.......then she barked at the paper person.......so .....I could of slept in today but COULDNT .......geesh....he did make the coffee though....

So, I wonder what the DIS "upgrades" were this time. Ha! Maybe they fixed the DIS time...the whole time change this year really screwed that up.

We stayed home from church because Kaleb was still having belly problems.

Chad doesn't have any work tomorrow. Was told not to come in. Hopefully one of his on the side people will come through with some work though.

Nab - Our old insurance(HMO) we had 15, or 25 dollar co-pays for DR. visits. All my other babies cost us $25. My office co-pay. I was always able to get medicaid for pregnant woman to cover all the hospital stay costs. Which would have been our hospital co-pays. No more than 1000 I think. Our insurance now the office copays are 20 and 35. My midwife is only 20. This baby would cost us $20, plus the $1000 we have to pay before insurance would pick up the hospital stay. But they want to change it to a major medical plan which means we don't get ANY coverage until we each reach $2000 out of pocket. Not even for dr. visits or perscriptions. Our checks have been really low the last 4 weeks though, so I am going to apply for medicaid for pregnant woman since that insurance is useless for us. Hopefully with the added family member and loss of work we'll qualify.

Goooood Morning Sunshines!!!

What a beautiful day it is here in Utah!

We have been readying for a HUGE graduation party for our oldest son, Jordan on June 1st. On the guest list is my ex-DH...

We are having a backyard BBQ (featuring my famous Cowboy Beans) and lots of fun.

Now, we just moved in less than 2 years ago and our backyard has only been "rock-scaped" with huge boulders and we cemented a big ol' pad to start a patio. SO! Now we've sprinklered and started buying plants. We still have to landscape and lightscape. and get a vinyl fence. But that'll all have to wait. Disney keeps taking our money.

I need to borrow a huge shadey cazebo-thingy to sit under. It's just going to be a canvas camping-style one. But there's hardly any shade in our backyard. Then we have the 2 huge golden retriever dogs I'll have to keep in the garage for the day. Poor wuppies!

Today we're having a family birthday party for 4 of the kids in our extended family. Where my 2 birthday boys will finally get a Nintendo DS! Yay!!! Happy, busy boys out of mama's hair!!!

What is everyone doing today???? Besides church.:cool2:

I'm not doing church today. Today is not so happy in the Amber/Tammy household.
Note to self - DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES LET YOUR PROZAC PRESCRIPTION RUN OUT!
It's not a pretty sight.
The house is a mess and I don't have the energy or inclination to clean it. So instead, Tammy and I are sniping at each other while still trying to entertain the kids.
I've banished myself back to bed with the computer for a time out.

I hope Tammy doesn't decide to catch up on the thread today.
Cuz I'm about to gripe.
So Tammy - if you're reading, DON'T!

Tomorrow is my birthday. And since I control the finances, she always asks if she can buy me something. I usually say no since we're almost always strapped for cash.
But then she goes out and buys clothes and shoes for the godkids.
:confused3 I'm such a woman. Now I'm upset because I know she didn't buy me anything - and I told her not to. This is just yucky.

Sorry Celery!

There is always a plus though. Like for instance, you can be thankful that you didn't keep your squirrel corn in a box on the back lanai that bugs(tiny with little horns?) got into. Millions of them. And you can also be thankful that they aren't trying to get into the house, with success.:scared1:

So, there's always something happening that you can be thankful isn't happening around you. ;)

I told Chad not to get me a Birthday(this FRIDAY!!!) present this year since it's so tight and we're trying to save anything we can spare for vacation. I always get down around my birthday since when you get older and have kids it seems it comes and goes without anything special happening. :guilty: I'm sad I won't have anything for my birthday, but it will be worth it if we get to go to WDW in Sept. I don't even think he knows that it is this Friday, actually...so I probably won't get a card either. :lmao: We have too much going on. Last year we BOTH forgot our anniversary. :rolleyes1

LittleBlue - How did you first night at home go? It's usually much better for me once we get home! Of course, back before we had cable middle of the night feedings were really HARD! It's hard to stay awake when only infomercials are on!

Popping by to congratulate the new mommies and the newly expecting!!!

:cutie: :cutie: :cutie: :cutie: :cutie: :cutie:

Hooray, where are you headed? if you're gone, let us know when you get back :goodvibes did you throw a cow patty at him for me? I'm in a post pardom mood, i'll take responsibility
Nope, didn't have to throw a cow patty at DH after all! :duck:

Hope you're home and everything is going well.

I'm missing Mari today. We got up at 6 to see her and Cash off, then went back to bed for a few hours. I weighed Cash last night and he is up to 25 pounds. Guess we won't be able to pick him up much longer. He'll be HUGE by the time we see him again in July! Here is a pic from last night. Man, I need to get some sun (DD tans so easily - thanks to her Dad)!

We ended up going to Smokey Bones for dinner. DD and I both had the pulled pork platter. We were chatting about how it compared to the barbecue that we had in NC. They are different, but I like them both.

I thought Shrek the Third was pretty funny. Mari liked Shrek 2 better. It was kind of interesting how they portrayed the princesses (Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White) and how they get their little digs at Disney in.

Sandy - I loved seeing the prom pics!

Uma, getting ready for the graduation party is going to keep you VERY busy in the next week. So glad I don't have to get ready for another graduation. I still remember how stressfu that was.

MommyP, Seth's birthday is the same day as mine! We should do a birthday calendar for our thread regulars, since we have two(!!!) this week.

Celery - Hope your day has gotten a little better. Sounds to me like you're also suffering a bit from post-Disney syndrome. Sending you some pixiedust:

Hi everyone who is or was around today!

Celery, hope your day got better.

I have been working again, but I think I am about done for the day. The old brain is starting to malfunction.

DD called yesterday, she is BORED in NY state. Her ex B/f doesnt have a car, and they have to take a bus or train anywhere. I think he lives in a small town. She is coming home Tuesday night.

DS stopped by this morning, and he and DH are off to see a movie, either spidey 3 or Shrek 3. I am not fond of going to movies myself, so I stayed home.

I need to take a shower and throw in some laundry and then I might take a nap.

Oh, I had the weirdest dream last night. I kept losing my purse, some yellow square one (which I do not actually own) and kept wandering around some new office building which was attached to the Contemporary. At the Contemporary, they were fixing the escalator and the elevators. so it was treacherous. I kept trying to find my purse, because i had no money and no cigarettes:sad2: They had people dressed up in black and orange sheet like wraps for some photos, and some woman tried to hand me her wrap to take home, and I said, I am NOT dragging that around with me!!
Anyway, I woke up without ever finding my yellow purse, LOL. It was stressful, I tell you!

Oh, and I carried the lemon yellow purse to go with my lemon yellow polyester mini dress from the 70's!

OH, I just remembered! PUMBA, you were working in the new office building in the office suite next to mine in Food & Beverage Finance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl2:

We just got back from seeing Shrek. Hubby must have felt guilty about leaving us home yesterday because after church we went out for lunch them the movie.

I thought Shrek was funny too. But liked the other ones better. I don't understand the whole princess thing either in the movie.

Moo -- what a nice picture of you and your daughter. That is going to be one big dog.

UMA -- I hear you on the things that need to be done around the house be spending it on vacation instead. Our neighbours are always asking if are going to finish our basement. Nope I would rather travel.

Celery-- things are going smoother now. Are you going to MNSHP in Sept.?

Marita --I have been having really weird dreams lately too. Funny part is I am remembering them. Working with Pumba how fun. I don't think you would look good in yellow, your colour is red.

Hi Celery Don't let the frustrations of life get you down. And thanks for stopping by my TR. :goodvibes

Sis That was a very very strange dream. I think you've been roasting rolls over the gas stove again, and got too many fumes. :rotfl: But I do love anything yellow, so maybe I took your purse.

UMA Wow, sounds like you're having a wild and crazy week. I hope the birthday party is a big success and that all your planning for Jordan's big day goes smoothly.

MommyP Hello. I haven't talked to you in ages!

Moo I enjoyed seeing the photo you posted.

I hope everyone is having a nice Sunday. It's been dreary here today. Tornado didn't want to go outside, which is quite unusual for him. Of course I ought to "ground him" today anyway because he didn't come in for dinner last night when I rang the bell. We went to a friend's for a cook-out, and I didn't want to leave Tornado out until 10:00 PM. I'm an over-protective cat mother. :confused3

Hi Nab and SIS,

Yes, guess the gas fumes did me in (if I had any!)

Moo, I neglected to comment on the puppy, I just saw you and your DD! How weird is that?

Kay, your trippie kept me company last night while the DIS was out once again! Did they change anything besides getting the time right?

I have soo much work to do too, but my day tomorrow is being mostly consumed by going out to lunch for my new associate and then taking her on a property tour. Which would normally sound like a great day. but I have soo much real work to do before next week!!!!!!!! So it is rather inconvenient.

Well, I better get my shower in before I forget and go to sleep. I never have time in the mornings.... Mornings and I are NOT friends :rolleyes1

marita - did pumba look like her or like a warthog? Tee heee.

I'm so hungry!!!! I think I'm going to go get some food.

I'm all in for a nap right now. Stayed up to late reading a book.

Then the kids had us up at 7:00 am. When I could have slept in. I didn't get out of bed but they kept coming in and asking us something. Finally I said is someone hurt or the house on fire ....no then stop coming in here. But then of course you are wake by then.

Soprano's and the season finale of Housewives is on tonight. Have to stay awake for that.

Here is another puppy pic that is more clear. We had a tough time getting him to look at the camera during the other pics!

Marita your a bad influence on me , I went and had a nap....:lmao:

Moo -- He is a beautiful grandpuppy. He looks like he is pretty playful and full of puppy energy.

I should be making dinner but have no idea what to make. After eating popcorn at the theatre I don't think anyone is to hungry anyway.

Eeek. the DIs just are my reponse. Guess I better make something to eat, I had a very short nap. Probabaly because I am starving.
Oh speaking of starving, tomorrow is lunch at the Contemporary steakhouse. Off to check the menu!

Nab, nothing wrong with a weekend nap, it's a GOOD thing!
