hello everyone.......How are you all ..........we are fine in Maine EXCEPT......its stinking snowing.......did I happen to remind you all that I dislike SNOW with a passion of no others.......also hubby and Megara dont care for it either......oh well another day tomorrow and hopefully it will rain one of these days and get rid of that white stuff....

Just finishing off my nine o clock snack....it has to be less then fifteen carbs and I do believe it was.......four pieces of extra sharp cheddar cheese and twenty thin little pretzels and two pieces of pepperoni.......that should do it.....my numbers have been good this past week.......eating on time and the right amounts helps.....

No baby yet......pacing is hard on these old legs......and feet.......

I just saw on the CB that we get new servers tomorrow so the boards will be down at 9:00 tomorrow night for 6 to 8 hours.

I am finally back from running the roads tonight. Went out to dinner with my cousin while she is up from Florida, her sis, my sis, DD, and another friend. We tried to get into the new Japanese steak house, but I didn't think to make a reservation and they had no tables until 8 pm So we went to a different place that turned out to be pretty goog.

BTW, hubby was up most of the night with a stomach virus or food poisoning. I have been compulsively scrubbing my hands and am alcohol wiping the doorknobs and such. I am hoping it was "just" food poisoning. In other words, I better not get it!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was bad enough being awoken by the sound of retching at 3:30 and 5:00 am. At first I couldn't figure out why he was yelling. That was what it sounded like through the bathroom wall :

So I like to play literati on yahoo.

Mony, I was reading back through and saw this! I'd love to play Scrabble with you if you feel like joining Facebook. Like I said, the nice thing is you can play your moves whenever you see it is your turn again. I played with my sister and DD, but neither want to play again since I won I tried telling them that is how you improve your game, but no luck.

Cel joined up and added Scrabulous, so I'll be playing with her shortly!!!

Hello, Friends.

Posting frenzy much? Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas. The 14 hour shift was a little rough but I did enjoy getting to see all the happy faces of the guests, specifically the small children. There were a lot of grumpy Guests too, though. That wasn't pretty. Yesterday at Chef Mickey's a little baby girl had a seizure. Parents were screaming, girl was on the floor, paramedics came, it wasn't pretty.

I just had to pick Hollywood up from work. She has a really bad migrane so she went to bed. So, if there were any little girls looking forward to meeting Ariel in Norway today that is not going to happen. They were going to put Alice in Wonderland in for her. How Alice and Ariel are comprable I don't know. Alice isn't even a princess.

My lil sister is here too right now. Picked her up at the airport yesterday. Last night we went to a bar where I got carded to get in and she did not. She's 16 so it's a goog thing they didn't try to card her. It was a karaeokee (I can't spell that) bar and she and I may have gotten up and sang honkytonk badonkadonk. Or not.

OKAY. That's pretty much all I've got to report.

I've been debating on a facebook page - but I kinda feel like I'm invading the college scene - where my ds' are!! I did myspace, because I found out that's "old news" lol - but I hardly remember to go there!!

I like having something to occupy my time - not that I'm nervous about what happens in 2 weeks!!

It's because I love pink and shiny things and little hearts and needed to take down Booty Stocking Stiffer. I still have my links to the TR's but they have been cut off at the knees.

The embarrasing stories thread on the CB is pretty funny! (well, that won't help when the Dis is down)

And the week between xmas and New Years is NOT meant for working! I am totally unmotivated!
On the way to work this morning, I passed the second entrance to MGM, and the traffc was horrific! 2 lanes of traffic backed up for a mile!
Knitfreak reported that on Tuesday, that by 2pm they had already filled one side of the Epcot lot to the end, and they were parking at the end of the second lot.(and those are some HUGE parling lots!) I tried to stop at the Hess station right there this morning, you could not squeeze a single car in!

Not a good time to go for a leisurely trip!

Our dentist is a great guy, but (sadly) not a hotTie. Good news and bad news came from our checkups today. Happily, both Boris and Natasha have sparkly clean, cavity-free mouths. (Yay! My obsession with their dental health is paying off!) Sadly, I walked outta the office with a referral for an orthodontist for Boris. It wasn't a surprise, since his few adult teeth are pretty big, and he's quickly running out of room for any new ones, but I thought I had another year or so before I had to think about orthodontia.

My parents got new neighbors down the street and their kids are.....

I do know that I am going to petition for a shorter Christmas break from school next year. I mean really, how many days do these kids need? Anyway. Christmas day and perhaps the day after then right back to school for them. I'm ready to go back to work too. It would be nice to have to take a shower before 3 pm some day. And, what's with all these friggin Christmas cookies and who eats fudge (by the fistful)? Why do I think I HAVE to eat all of those white covered pretzels? How many DiGorno pizzas can one guy eat (in a day, in a Christmas break)? How many movies with popcorn can I watch? How many times do I have to hear my 10 year old son beseech me to come and WATCH him play Guitar Hero with his sister? At least they are placing $1 bets on who can get a higher score. But, why does the Quasicade have to play the music SO LOUD? How many marathon sessions can one guy stand at the casino? I think I need to go back to work. Now. And, you guys have been going on a posting frenzy major. Good luck with popping the kid out MommyP.

My DD told me to get my own profile. I was able to log into hers for a while since she had accessed it on my computer a while back and didn't log out She "fixed" that when she was home for Thanksgiving

Now I am friends with her, but I can no longer read what her friends are up to. Which was QUITE interesting reading.

Marita, I toadily agree with you about work sucking between the holidays. I made it through today, but it was NOT fun

One of the managers ticked me off today. And I think she enjoyed doing it. I am in a different cubicle temporarily to clean up some files (which unfortunately, due to workload, I haven't worked on much). She came by and said they were posting the notice soon for hiring the supervisor whose office that will be. It is a really nice office because it has taller walls and is in a quiet location. Basically, she gave me notice that I would have to move elsewhere once the position is filled. I knew it was a temporary location, but she said it with this smirk. I used to be pretty good friends with her and was actually on the committee that hired her. She moved up the ranks to a pretty high level in my division and now seems to enjoy wielding the power. I am working really hard not to say anything to her that I will regret . . . Grrrrr!

MommyP - I just figure 9# is a small baby to me!! Healthy, sleeps through the night... (mine were 10.8 ers etc)

My 9lber didn't sleep well we used to have to put him out in the living room with the TV on in the middle of the night to get him to sleep. He also was my least "healthy" he didn't gain weight well, I couldn't nurse him and he had to go on formula. I don't want a repeat of that.

Good luck with popping the kid out MommyP.

Well if that happens it will be pretty late. I doubt anyone wants a middle of the night call to say baby poppins was born. If it's 9-10 I can call Wendy since she's behind me here. Maybe she can go to chat, or send emails. I doubt it will be then anyway. I'm anticipating another bad news exam. With those dreaded words, "no change".

The only "excitement" today was that we found out that legally, we may or may not be married.

We need to show our marriage license with his application for the police acadamy and I got to thinking, "I don't think I've ever seen one." I went online to search the public records and we don't have one. We called the court house and they don't have anything on file saying that we are married. We went down there and paid our dues and did the marriage license application, we signed that along with the justice of the peace and our witnesses and then I suppose we just forgot all about it. We never got a marriage license in the mail. I am not sure HOW I legally changed my name on my license and ss card without one though...

So we tried to look up the justice of the peace and she doesn't live here anymore, so I did some super sleuthing in the county records and found a address for her in Arizona. We searched the white pages online with that address and found a phone number. Chad left her a message and she actually called back. All she had to say was, "That's never happened before." She is going to look in her files, HOPEFULLY, to find something that might help us. We are going down to the court house tomorrow after my appointment to see what we can find out about the situation. How strange is this?

I told Chad he better move out until we can get married.


So that's it for my news. Oh and we have plumbing and windows in at the house. My garden tub is there. Yay!

I didn't pick a birth time, but it sounds like you're having a fair number of contractions so I'm thinking you'll go earlier than NYE Day.

Moo Hoo on the garden tub Maybe having the house buttoned up a bit more will help deter any trouble.

I put a retirement ticker in my siggie so I can track my progress to being put out to pasture. It's still quite a ways away, but I'm hoping the time will fly by Maybe I'll have three or four WDW trips to count down during that time also!

Moo, my son is working part time installing security cameras for banks. One of his jobs last week was in the Villages, the HUGE retirement communty I mentioned before ( rife with VD). He said they ate at the nicest Perkins he ever saw, but noboy under the age of 65 (to him anyway) But he did say he saw LOTS of golf carts!!

I could technically retire now, but finances dont work out yet. 5 more years will about double my money. So I have to hang in a while more.

But yes, we can dream!!!!!!!

GOOD news moops! THose two kids I watched just for X-mas $ for had their last day today! I did it!!!! I feel like the weight of the world is lifted off my shoulders. Today's mayhem was the 2 year old boy climbed during nap time and got the little CD player I was playing lullaby's with and broke the cd door and scratched the crap out of the lullaby cd. He had to climb pretty high to get to it and it involved using 6 drawers of a chest of drawers ("chester drawers") as stairs and reaching to a way high shelf. He also broke the only portable crib I own (and really need). But they're gone GONE gone! High Fives and Butt slaps all around!


Went to Bath and Body Works's BIG after Christmas "Sell" to spend my 2 gift cards...I'm spelling purdy too Lexy!
