Twinkie, glad your twins like school. It's no fun if you have to go everyday when you don't want to be there.

DTD, too funny about the shirt!

Hope everyone has a great weekend. I will resume crochet shortly, nothing else planned. After 2 shopping trips in 2 days, that's enough leaving the house for this couchpotato....

:upsidedow ...i just wanta make sure nabby, knew we're thinking
about her....:goodvibes

:thumbsup2 , hey moo~ you're right....i forget about the other big ten
schools...as i sorta follow the mac [lil'schools..]. i also a "fan" of
the whole programs...& what they're suppose to be standing for..
school spirit, sportsmanship, and fun...not an oppturnity to hurt or
put others down....*i just don't get it, except seeing big $$$, removing
the kids fun out!

well, if its any consolation...luxy girl...i can't explained why....but i always
liked kentucky....i think alot has to do with them stressing the students'
benefits....& they remind me of ohio univ.....plus, blue~green goes together,
 ? ....and~~~* remember, i used to go to gainsville-fla, and beleive
it or not..they used to be that way..so, while kentucky is no power house
in football...all that is missing is the "right coach"...:rolleyes1 . * they
are alot better than others give credit. [i watched that diaster- lsu game..
when they lost on the last second hail mary....forget that!....think about
how kentucky played toe to toe...& actually should have won....& that
was great lsu team!

any horn~blowers.....:yay: , i can't believe you mentioned "msu"...moo!
why?........cos growing up..i had a msu jersey... , but not a fan,
just the jersey...

hey utah m??? you better be making me a skort before...w.t.!

moo..your places nearby..sound wonderful ! i hope to make it up there
some day....do you have bears in the woods? :)

ha....our learning institutions , i feel need some up graded toward old~
fashioned ..."thinking abilities"..., you know..i like /respect "time" mag.
but they lean to much on statistics & science..missing the intangibles..
that effects their final reports. [right now, i am reading their "study"
on addiction dynamics....]. when are the experts going to listened..
to common snes-:confused3 . make no mistakes...that the things i
described....is on "target"...toward producing ..the desired results.
writer? no iam not..but...when i have past pts. ...reporting back
their recoveries..i am using "that" data...as my guide. my co-worker,
[and she very atuned & accomplished nurse]...again, recognized
how effective these interventions were!... .

why?..when i work, iam very serious on accomplishing the objectives...
& these people are .....fighting, just to feel good..and normal.....[ i have
no tolerance for those who are getting pay..for taking care of
human beings...& instead taking advantage of them. this includes
adminastors...stealing $$$ for made - up services.

why? trying to removed the "cover" of mental health practices...cos
in the wrong hands...these so called experts..can act like gasoline on
a fire..& sadly we all, already seen the results....mass shootings...funny,
how those could/should have done something..dispear?

why/..our major learning institutions...should developed "classes"...
suporting social/family values/dynamics..and even self realization...
is self evident...as a socail need. to me, schools & churches, have
lost their focus ...on family values....& more.

sorry guys, i just get so carry away...but seeing so many needing
basic education..& not getting it..leading to very unhappy people..
is a danger to all our communites...* i didn't invented common sense
but iam using it ...& producing some effective results. thanks, for letting
"spout'..off my views. mano!, i got stop watching those news programs!

ha!.. no one asked me about the indian princess name? princess: ?
[i am surprise....& are you all still reading nebo's trip report? ]

oh, ladies?...i sure hope you don't forget about us guys...:rolleyes1 ,

maybe a "letterman" sweater from disney university! :smickey:

:hippie: ..c~ girl..i hope you written some more...cos i'll be
reading it @ work....:yay:

...is everyone working on their "shopping list"..on what you going
to get me while at dissser's-envy world?

:tigger: ..i could help..with a few suggestions? :wizard:

No bears in the woods near me that I know of, Lil G, but a coworker of mine thinks they may have one near them.

They haven't seen it yet, but have heard growling and seen some pretty big claw marks on a log and honey tree near their log cabin home. They live next to a river in a heavily wooded area.

GRRR, I just ripped up almost everything on the crochet that I did yesterday and earlier today.

Since I did not have the 4mm needle, I used the 3.75 to start with (knitfreak said it would be fine, .25 mm differance . But that seemed hard, i kept getting in between threads. So I used the next closest I have, 5mm. After 3 rows, I decided that it looked too loose. So I ripped it up and starting back on row 1 with 3.75.

MommyP, better keep little baby boy poppins cooking for a while at this rate, LOL!

Hi moo friends, I'm so behind. This getting adjusted for school is driving me crazy. don't they know they're messing with my posting schedule? geesh! Next week, I'm going to try finding a connection in the car line. I'm gone for almost an hour picking up the kids, its insane. I hope every one is well and are adapting to the heat. For ya'll southerners toward Dean's direction, my thoughts go out to you. Hopefully, Dean will fizzle.

So, I'm just skating by for a quick post. I hope to one day spend some time with you all again.

DH went shopping the other day at Sam's club (OBVIOUSLY HUNGRY), and got a gazillion things in huge quantities that we have no room in the fridge for. So now I have 19 lovely HUGE white mushrooms (2-3 inches each) with no room to chill. SO I am going to take some and fry them up with onions.

If anyone has some goog stuffed mushroom recipies, PLEASE SEND THEM POSTHASTE!!!!!!!

Anyway, back in a bit, chop chop, fry!

I believe so: there's some cow lingo in here some where-
ALL ABOUT BRAUM'S COWS AND BRAUM'S MILK

A long, long time ago, if you wanted milk when you traveled, you'd have to bring your cow with you! Things sure have changed since then! Today, fresh milk, ice cream and other dairy products are as close as your neighborhood Braum's Ice Cream and Dairy Store.

COWS
Have you ever had a glass of Braum's Milk or a dip of Braum's Ice Cream and wondered what made it taste so good? Braum's has a secret ingredient. It involves hard work, attention to every detail, and lots and lots of cows!

The cow has been called "Nature's Own Milk Factory". All mammals produce milk (like sheep, goats, even reindeer), but it's the cow that gives the most milk by far, providing over 90% of the world's milk. Cows that are raised mainly for their milk are known as "dairy cattle". But this group isn't exclusive for cows only. There are several other members of the "dairy cattle" group including dairy bulls, calves, heifers, yearlings and steers. "Cow" is the name given to a mature female. "Bull" is the name given to a mature male. "Calf" is the offspring of a cow and a bull. "Yearling" is the name given to a calf when it turns one year old. "Heifer" is any cow under three years old that has not had a calf yet.

BREEDS
There are five major breeds of cows, each with its own special characteristics. Different types of cows produce different types of milk. Many of these cows were named after the area where they originated.

HOLSTEIN - FRIESIAN COWS
Some say that Holsteins came from West Germany and some say they came from the Netherlands. They are the only black and white breed of dairy cattle. They weight about 1500 pounds each and are the biggest of all dairy cows. Holsteins give more milk than any of the other breeds. Braum's dairy herd is made up entirely of Holstein cows.

JERSEY COWS
Jersey is the smallest dairy cow named after an island called "Jersey" located in the English Channel. Jersey's eat less and give less milk than the other breeds do. They are fawn-colored and some have white markings.

GUERNSEY COWS
Named after another of the islands in the English Channel. Guernsey's are yellowish, brownish or reddish fawn in color.

BROWN SWISS COWS
Brown Swiss came from Switzerland and are different shades of brown with black hoofs and white horns with black tips.

AYRSHIRE
Ayrshire are from Scotland and are red or brown and white spotted.

BRAUM'S COWS
There are a total of about 25,000 Holstein cows in Braum's dairy herd. This includes the milking herd (about 10,000 cows) which makes its home at Braum's main dairy farm in Tuttle, Oklahoma and the "replacement heifers" making their home of several of the Braum farms and ranches throughout Oklahoma and Texas. A "replacement heifer" will join the milking herd and eventually replace the cows who are dry (who stop making milk).

It's said that if a cow is happy, she'll work even harder for you. We believe that! That's why we give Braum's cows extra special care and attention…from choosing what they eat, to where they sleep. With proper feeding, housing and care, Braum's dairy herd produces milk that is consistent in both quality and quantity…and tastes great, too!

o.k., sorry, super tired to cut and chop and condense the post. night, night again. moo hugs and kisses to all, and to all a goog night. :cloud9:

My daddys name was FRENCH.....I know you all knew that...hahaha......hubbies two brothers and one of my sisters in law came today and we AGAIN went thru all of my mils stuff......the rest will go to Good will tomorrow......we had a nice time and then we had a chicken bbq ...delicious......I had a hard time going thru mils belongings again....I see these items and I think of her......Later on Kaitlynn came over and we celebrated her birthday.....she hit the big 18 today.....they sure grow up fast. Today the winds were to strong so they did not go up or do a moon glow.......it is sad because all these people come to our town to see them......The blue angels were in the state too.....alot of going ons....

:yay: Lil Blue!!! I sure have missed you! AND the cute cows you always post :thumbsup2

Especially the dancing cow! :dance3:

You need a batphone like mine so you can post while you're waiting for the kidlets in your car!!!

 Pumba, it sounds like you really stirred up a bunch of memories about your MIL today. Glad you had some relatives in to help you and your hubby.

Little Blue, that was a very educational cow post.
But you neglected to mention that happy cows come from California!

Guten abend, gute nacht....sleep well see you real soon!

Hugs, Pumba!!

OK, a post to ponder!

I told my daughter I was attemptimg to make this baby blanket for MommyP (ATTEMPT being the operative word), and she asked me do you even know what her real name is?

I said, of course, it's Amanda. and then I ran through names in my head. There is Cheryl, and Debbie, and Linda and Wendy and Nellie (altough I am not sure of that one, Twinkie!) and Marie and Amber and Tammy and EliSabeth and Haley and Sandy and Chris and Melinda and Lynette and Misty and Lisa and Steph and BDG???????? and LIL G??????? and DTD and Undie???

Why is it we dont know the names of the males?
