Hello all. Just had to drop in and say I think the new thread title is funny! Goog for you! :thumbsup2 Be well all. :)

Myst

Goog Morning!

I am always the first up these days! Well the first to post anyway. I think Twinkie gets up earlier than me.

Twinkie - I hope you get a turn soon on the ironing board. Maybe that's why your feeling so blah. ;) Seriously, I hope your blahness goes away soon. I used to always get so depressed during parts of my monthly cycle. I am always so thankful when I'm pregnant because I almost always feel happy. I always get the blahs when it's time to leave the hospital. It's crazy! I see other pregnant woman and I'm sad because I'm all done. Even though I am happy to have my baby I am SO sad that I'm not pregnant anymore and I always feel like,"What now? What's the next big thing to look forward to." Of course this time when I have the baby we should have the house to look forward to. :cool1:

Chad had to work today on a side job. But now he is on his way home because, after driving over an hour to get there the job wasn't ready! People can be so stupid. So now he is almost home and my Dad and Mom are coming over because Chad and my Dad are going to be seperating copper, bare from the covered kind so they can sell it again. So that will be a nice extra couple hundred to pay on the card. Then we're going to Mom's house because they have a pool and it's hot. It hasn't rained in like 2 days and isn't supposed to for the rest of the weekend.

So, this will be my only post for today. Have a good weekend everyone!

Java - It's been nice seeing you around. Let me know when you ever need to rent out some points. ;)

Marita - What are ticket prices going to be now?

Sorry I've been MIA. I hope all is well with everyone. Been busy with doctor's appointments and tests. Not to mention my mom is driving me crazy !!! She has now decided that she is NOT going to tell me how she is feeling and will not allow me to help her anymore. She said I feel worse than she does and don't complain,so she isn't going to anymore. I could just whack her sometimes! She went to the store the other day for a prescription and fell. Yet I'm not to help her? Does that make sense? And she is insisting that I go on our trip next week. Think I'll worry much?

Anyway, I think I've got all the plans set for WDW and I might put off dealing with the girls' return to campus stuff after our trip. I'm not ready for them to go back :1kopete019:

I have a confession to make to you,my friends...

We have NEVER watched the Simpsons! :happytv: :happytv:

Morning All,

Mommy P-- your suppose to sleep in on Saturday's didn't you get the memo..:lmao:

Moo-- Those are the candies I was talking about. After I got ready for bed last night I thought it was to much work to say HI !!!:lmao:

Lil'g -- Aren't you a big sweetie this morning. :goodvibes Yes we are more then our outside appearance and am glad you are a person that can see that in all of us. You to have a heart of gold ( and a wild side too....:lmao: )

Poly-- Hope your Mom is go ok after her fall. Your Mom is stubborn....I don't watch the Simpson either Poly but have seen them before. We are going for the kids and hubby likes them too.

What do yo mean your kid never seen Looney tunes.....Did they watch Saturday cartoons?

Your ticker is looking good there Poly. I know that is a good thing and a bad thing for you.

They used to watch the Disney Channel and PBS. They watched some things on Nick, but knew to change channels if the Looney's came on.
When we went to Islands of Adventure the first time, they had no idea who the characters there were:)

Forgot to say I had a weird dream last night.

I was in a hotel and went to the front desk and handed the lady a pair of baby shoes ( the white boot type ones they used to sell ) and I said oh aren't these cute and left them on the desk.

Then I went to the elevator and couldn't get in them without a card. So I went in the gift shop and saw this straw hat. I was really excited and said I was going to buy it for Moo. It was a stuff cow on the top wearing a straw hat to holding a sign but can't remember what it said. Thought Moo could wear it in WDW.....:lmao: It was huge too.

Then I woke up or hubby woke me I should say....

Hello, Mysteria! Thanks for dropping by.

Lil G, I didn't post a real photo of my daughter, but I Simpsonized her cartoon likeness and put it in my signature (it will be there for a little while anyway, til I get tired of it) ;)

We missed you, Poly! Sorry to hear your mom is being stubborn  Hope she didn't aggravate her pain too much by falling. Just like any mom, I'm sure she doesn't want you to miss your trip and being able to spend time away with your hubby and your girls before they start back to school.

I have a confession to make to you,my friends...

:rotfl2: We only watch it occasionally, but it really amuses me that they have that Web site where you can make your cartoon likeness :confused3 :lmao:

Hmmmm, wonder what the sign said?!

I love a good clam chowder or a seafood chowder......I make a mean one ....well delicious anyways.
The buffet serves them in the shell and then they have a big block of butter always melting next to that pot. I have a gift certificate still from my birthday and I will get some clams or four lobsters......have not decided yet......I think that the lobsters are the soft shells now and the hard shelled ones are super high....liek 5.99 a lb. that is high for this area...I can get a few of each with the gc.
Carbs are important according to my diabetic instructor. So not to do without the two choices per meal........Make sure to have my protein and also the good veggies and free veggies. I ate a few cukes yesterday. They were fresh from the farm and delicious... Pasta doesnt seem like important to me right now.......I can have 2/3's of a cup with no sauce.......or one third of a cup and a half cup of sauce with three meatballs....now look at the cup size and say ......whats the sense.......right>? If I have the whole cup of pasta with sauce and meatballs then I will forego my in between snack time of one choice.....I need to make sure I die with my feet on as the saying goes...that is from the diabetics site and things I have read......scarey when you do think about it .....my grandmother had her leg off and that scares me to death..

just got back from the vets with Megara.....she had her yearly check up and had a distemper and parvo shot ......she does have an ear infection.....so we are treating that ...70 bucks but she is worth every cent we spend on her....we love her to pieces.....

Pumba, that buffet sounds like a fabulous place to go! Lobster is really expensive here, so I usually settle for crab legs if I get the urge for lobster.

My MIL was diabetic and had some trouble with her feet. She really hated the shoes she had to wear. She was often not very careful about her diet, so I admire that you are so diligent.

A friend of mine went on a charter fishing trip in Lake Michigan last week and caught a bunch of salmon. He had a bunch of it smoked, so I am looking forward to getting some from him next week. I have a recipe for a smoked salmon cracker spread. This weekend I need to pick up the ingredients to make it. It makes a pretty big batch, so I'll take most of it into work to share.

Hmmmmm, what kind of crackers shall I get?!

Good afternoon, everyone! Sounds like everyone is going to have a busy day, and many are out on trips. Will be a quiet weekend I think.
Marita - What are ticket prices going to be now?
A 1-day 1- park ticket went from $67 to $71.

MP, I thought of you this morning, there was a story in the paper about a woman in Arkansas who just had her 18th child, and they still want more. And all the kids names start with J.

:wizard: ..hi, poly & pumba...i am glad you gals find time for us.

:grouphug: ..it great to hearing your news....poly, you're there
for your mom...is something i bet she is counting on...

..[ i still miss my...& if you think i am "wild"...imagine where it came
from....my mom had a wild streak a mile long....that made things
& life exciting...for my dad- he loved her for it! ]

pumbee, you made me starving....however, yor nutritional points..also
spilled into mental health.., big time! all one has to do ..is flash a
:mickeybar ..i'm one it!

..mommie poppins...actually , yor reflections ..not only make sense,
but ..is typical...* i always gave my wife a few lil'apprication presents
after the kids were born.

what does one "needs" to be/find happiness in life? i think, since we leave
this world with exactly what we came with...its how we live life and the
best way to show apprication for our blessings ..is sharing our discoveries
for creating happiness...hint, i 'm accepting donated :mickeybar &
collecting...:flower3:

..our "cruise board meet"...is going to pot, ...bickering and raising
cane...over the pc taX, :sad2: ..i think i stay outta that mess. every-
body's opinions are more valuable than the other guy, :rolleyes1 ....

however, i do have a "few" animal end*stinker traits.......like the hippo!

:thumbsup2 ..i don't "tolerate" any rival getting near my sweetie! i run
them off....* wants hear a true story...:confused3 - of me being
hippo like? :teacher: ...we were doing a sunday drive with her parents,
..from an outing....[when were dating]....& i could be wrong-I but don't
think so---her mother/ my future mil { who never really like me}
...slowed down * really slow, crossing a covered bridge. why?! there were
a bunch of guys....camping near the river edge....& when they saw
my lil'cutie pie...had the audicity to "wolf whistle"...:snooty: ,

so what i do?...stop the car....* remember we were on "top and they're
were beneath the bridge..... & i let them have "it!"..raining lil'rocks on them

:umbrella:...i bet they never did that again! woof! :dog:

The things you can find Moo!!!

We were out shopping at Costco and Sams club today getting ready for up coming trip. Spent way to much money.

Just got back from watching the Simpson's Movie. It was pretty funny. I have the song Spider Pig in my head now. The kids laughed like crazy but alot was over their heads. I do not watch the Simpsons all the time either.

Hey Nab! Glad you had a goog time today! It think it must have been one of the deadest days ever online.

I went and got a pedicure and my eyebrows waxed. I have a new favorite person in the salon, Tuiwe or something. She was awesome, I will request her in the future. Then I had eyebrows done by the owner's wife, and i inquired why she is the only one who can do it, and she said, because you have to be licensed, like a 3 month course, which includes facials, etc. SO I asked if she was thinking of doing facials, and she said yes, in a couple of weeks or so, setting up a facials room!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! About $40! There goes some of my retirement money! I have to at least try it to see if it help my wrinkles...

So after I got home with pretty pretty toes in Bettina Red and newly shaped eyebrows, I promptly broke a fingernail!!!!!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Marita -- I didnt' have time to look for a person today. Probably won't all week because I will have both kids and have to get ready to pack . We leave on Saturday.

You better remember the persons name if you are going to request her next time. Can't say I have ever waxed my eyebrows either. Sounds painful.

I am going to be mess when you see me in Sept. and you will be all pretty and stuff.
