Kay -- sounds like you are having a stressful summer too. You and Marita are soul sisters.

By the time we dug a hole summer will be over Kay. Plus someone would have to keep it from getting green. The people behind us have one and it looks nasty.

Kay - When the old builder came in at a price of 146,000 we looked for someone else. The new house is 16** sq ft, plus small lanai, plus a 2 car garage which is over 400 sq ft. (the other house was 1400, plus a larger lanai, plus only a 1 car garage. Remember it was also a horrible layout) New house has a big kitchen like the one I have now, plus my dream bathroom consisting of seperate shower and garden tub. It has 4 bedrooms, 3 of which have walk in closest, one doesn't have a closest, which is okay because the other 2 children's bedrooms have walkins which is more than we could ever ask for. It also has a small living room, dining room plus a seperate family room. The guy came in at a price of too much. But took it down with us doing a couple things. So now it's at 153,000, which is going to actually be 155,000 because we had to add back in the electrical supplys because we can't save up for them while paying off that credit card. Our payment for 153,000 was going to be about 115 more than we are paying for rent now. However we aren't going to start building until the local program for low income familes that gives you 40,000 towards your house comes in. Which will be Sept.-Oct. We should be signing a contract in the next couple of days!!!! The house is GREAT! I can't wait to get things started. I will feel goog when we get our hands on that money and our final financed amount comes down to around 120,000. So that's it for now.

That is the only thing I watch on Mondays. I have to get the kids in and bathed before it comes on.

The sling is cool. Never had one. Wrong colour though....it should be pink.

That really is great news, MommyP. It sounds like they are packing in a LOT within 1600+ SF. You will enjoy having a home that you can furnish and decorate any way you want. Thanks for the update.

I finished Tammy's shirt. Woo!
then I'm going to eat, watch some tv (I still have DVR'd stuff to watch) then it's back to the sewing mavhine.

I'll check in here every hour or so, as long as Tammy lets me. We're still using one computer at home.

our blow up pool is not even either.....oh well........it is alot of fun for the rug rats and for me too......My grandson decided to try the swimming under water with his eyes opened and he was thrilled to do it.....not bad for three.....

Our oldest granddaughter's lap top had to go back to best buy for something...it is only 5 weeks old and the battery is not charging..she can use it when it was plugged in but otherwise no charge.....we got her that for graduation....so I went with her with proof of purchase......so it will be gone for 7-10 days....hope it will be okey for her to take to college...

tomorrow going to the Diabetic clinic for something....I didnt know I had to go every year and I have no been back for over a year and a half.....my pcp asked me when was the last time I had gone and I said...beats me.....I went to all my classes like a good little diabetic......geesh...what more could I do.....so tomorrow I find out my A1C and my fasting glucose was.......I always get nervous when I get my results back.....tomorrow will be it...

Took Home ec and and passed .Even made a dress for my niece and one of those baby doll tops they have out now a days. But haven't done anything since then.

NAB, you can do it!! That gown was the first one I have ever made. I made her a little sundress when she was a baby, but that's it.

As long as you know how to follow a pattern and instructions, you can do it!!

We have lots of time to decide but we are slow decision makers in this regard. And I insist on having a final choice before I go into labor... I am afraid that he wiill sneak in one of his favorites while I am under the influence of BabyN's fine drugs.

Surely The Dh wouldn't try to do such a thing to you!

I ended up not having time to cook. However the prepared mama has a freezer stocked for just such times: green peas, french fries and chicken filets. Dinner was yum.

Evening, MOOvers! Long work day for me, but not too onerous.

My coworker who was been staying with her mom through her surgery and hospital stay got home last night so I stopped by to see her after work to visit a bit. I'm good friends with her and her hubby (who I also work with). Her mom is still having some pain, but is at a nursing/rehab facility now. My friend had a really hard time with coming home while her mom is still recovering, so if you could send some prayers for Deb and her mom, Ruth, I'd appreciate it.

On a brighter note, my friends brought back some Graeter's ice cream from Cincinnati for me as a birthday present YUM!!!
