hi peep - errr poly. :)

marita - I'll say it for you! I hate DVC!
Heh.

for PJ and rob - the hotels that have DVC as well, have to have two budgets, two forecasts, etc - which makes it hard on the people in finance. Like marita!
So she hates DVC. But just the numbers end of it.

Hi moo! hi java, hi dre!

welcome to Rob!

Umm. Pj? I don't have any pm's. Heh. I typed it pms first.
what I'm saying is you haven't spilled any dirt!
And I just mean the Disney dirt.
We know babycow is really a sweetiepie.
And the goat story is about the best "dirt" I've heard on her.

I sent Utah and Twinkies gifts off today! Whee! :yay:

Hi Cel! i guess I gripe too much, LOL!

marita - you don't gripe too much - we just know each other here - and I didn't want the newbies to feel left out.
or think that we really hate disney.

I am STILL cleaning my oven, and, boy, are my arms tired!!!!!!!!! :rotfl:

I think YouDee was freakin' Marita out a bit :)
this new one is the view from my room. Wish it could be a larger shot- this doesn't do it justice.
and yes, I was Peep for years :lmao: :lmao:
Oh, that's so cool that you were called Peep!!

I guess YouDee grew on me. I think Nab is going to be really sorry to see he's gone too ;)

Nice view from your room! Maybe you could put it in your signature and have it bigger and find some other Poly-related thing for your avatar.

Like this:

Poly, there is no need to change your avatar on my account, really!

love it, embrace it!

Let me say that I am not sure if am PJ's friend or her adoring public or both or either or neither or all of the above or none of the above or the union of the two or the difference of the two or the sum of all parts or the sky or the moon or the rain.
Well, you're zen enough, how are ya at bicycle repair? Hey, you make 5 guys on here. Maybe we can hold our own now.

I'm back in Cincinnati now. Unfortunately. It was super duper hotT in Orlando. You read the TR though, Elisabeth and I still braved the elements. Just try to be inside or in a pool during a few of the afternoon hours.
Ah, another Moover from in or near Kentucky. We're takin over. Nice to see ya here.
celerystalker says
'm getting scared.
It's 103 here, but I stay inside.
It was 102 in Louisville, and I got to work in a 6'x10' metal trailer with 3 other guys. Florida don't scare me none. But I promise to try to cool things off before I leave so you can be comfy.
TwinkieMama, I had a deepfried twinkie at the fair today. It was the best twinkie I ever had. The cake was warm and sweet and the filling was soft but still cold. I want another. It was goog.
Nite all.

PJ - Oh, I read my fair share of diaper stories. I'm sure people have talked about me before too. Not that I have or ever would change my baby on a restaurant table. But I have been known to change them in their stroller parked out of the way because it's a whole lot cleaner and less lines than the bathroom changing tables. (I'm talking about WDW here. I would never in a million years put my child on one of those changing tables at WALMART. We do changes in the car when we're out and about. Then we leave the dirty diaper under some unsuspecting persons tire. ;) ) But anyhoo. I was mostly wondering about the water fountains. Because we have been known to use them. Even though I've read those things. Probably why we never get sick. Is it true that you can get a free cup of ice water from the counter service places?

Celery
- Are you talking about material for burp cloths? Remember to send a bill. I will gladly pay for the cost of making them. :) Can I make payments? j/k!!! ;)

Also it is REALLY hot here. I don't know what it's like in Orlando.(We're further south and nearer the coast) But it hasn't rained more than 1(maybe 2) time in 3 weeks now. Which makes it super hot. If they're calling for 95+ near the coast then here in our town it's about 5-10 higher. IN THE SHADE! So in the sun it way into the 100's. However due to the lack of rain it has also been less humid. Hotter, but less humid. So even though your skin is actually melting off your face, you can still breathe because the air isn't ask thick as mud. It could be totally different in a month though. We've been known to have super cool fronts mid Oct.(as low as in the 70's during the day and 50's at night) so the end of Sept. could hold a cool down if we're super blessed.

Twinkie - Yum! Banana bread. I always send Chad away to work with lots of it so I don't eat too much. Unfortunately we don't get too many over ripe bananas around here so I don't make it too often. I bought 4 bunches last night, I am sure they will be gone by Monday. Not enough time for any of them to get too ripe. lol

Java - Congrats! What DVC did you buy into?

Marita - You are crazy to heat your oven to 5 billion degrees in the dead of summer. I do mine in the winter on a cool day when the house is open. By then it usually catches fire at least twice. ;) And you don't wipe out the left overs, you vacuum them out. A shop vac is best, but a regular hose extention works too.

Yesterday Ivy was crying all afternoon about her belly hurting her. So I called her Mom and told her and she said she would clean off her desk and come right over. She didn't get there for over an hour and a half. I just don't understand that. I would be right over if my child wasn't feeling well.

We went grocery shopping last night and forgot the stinking WIC card. So after we got home and Chad unloaded the truck he had to run back out to get the milk and such. I finished putting the grocerys away and it was about 7:20. The boys were playing on the Playstation(Kaleb was with Chad) and I was bored. Guess what I did?

I cranked up the lawnmower and mowed the lawn! Minus the hard parts, like the front ditch. Remember how steep it is from the Redneck Water Slide video? I try not to even have to walk up or down that thing, no way I'm going near it with a lawnmower. As I got to the backyard I started thinking about our new neighbors. They must think Chad is a slave driver. That's the second time in a week I've been out there very obviously pregnant and mowing. LOL! I don't think they've seen him mow since they moved in. haha! Chad thought the same thing when he came home and found me mowing in near darkness. It felt so good to get outside and moving though. The only time I can do that is after the sun is setting. It's just too hot.(no clouds, no relief from the heat)

Thankfully he had all the WIC grocery put up AND 3 of the kids in bed.

Today I have LOTS of laundry and bathrooms to clean. Plus haircuts to give. So I better get started!

And I've been up since 5:30. So somewhere in my day I need to fit in rest. lol!

Howdy, Moovers! What's shakin'? Get it? Moovers and shakers? I'm guessing that one has been used before, but hey, it's my turn! ;)

I'm going to WDW tomorrow!! First time in 4 1/2 years! And I'm going to meet up with some other DISers! Squidrific, Disney4Drew, LBelle and jbmom!

Hey, did any of you see Big Brother last night? :scared1: Lotsa drama! I loved it!

Hi, Bonnie, long time no see!! Stop by more often.

Have fun in Disney, but be prepared, it's frigging HOT here.

MommyP, guess what? MY OVEN CLEANER DIDN'T WORK :scared1: . When I got up this morning the light was still on and the door was locked, so I turned it off and the oven was cold, and nothing was different. EEEK!, now what?
Does this mean I need a new stove, like you need a new car when the ashtray is full?

I am on VACAtion today, YAY! Court TV has the trail of the astronaut woman that drove from Texas in diapers on LIVE, so I have on for a bit.

I'll check back later, hope everyone has a great day.

Hi Marita! Love ya lady!

I know it will be hot. That is one thing I am dreading! As a general rule, I never plan Disney trips (Disneyland, or WDW) in the summer because I hate crowds and heat! But since someone invited me, I'm just thrilled to be going!! Plus I get to stay for free in Squiddy's DVC at BWV!! Can't pass up a deal like that!

What have you been up to? Me, just working part time and spending time with my kids. Going to the pool, running the kids around, dookey like that. We went to King's Dominion last week and had a great time there.

Marita - I saw your light on and I was like "What's up?!?! Why's Marita at home?" Then I remembered! Happy Vacation Day, Marita!

I've rented the ECV for my mom.
Even though she says she doesn't need it.
She says she can walk.
And that I remember things differently than what they were.
And she didn't yell at me in the park.
She just raised her voice. :lmao:

My mom is the queen of denial!

donald - those deep fried twinkies are goog! I don't like twinkies (no offense, twinks!) normally, but mmmm mmmm when they're fried!

mommyp - I'm going to pretend that you were joking about the diaper under the car thing.
Oh please, good lord, do not let one of my friends be one of those!!!!!!
heh.
If you weren't joking, lie to me.
Please?

Nevermind! I see your edit! Thank goodness! I knew you were an  ! Really! :rolleyes1

And I will not accept payment for the burp cloths! They are a gift!
I just hope I can get them done in the next few weeks so I can give them to you when we see you so I don't have to ship them.

I don't use changing tables with Jeanie - she's older now, so I just change her standing up.
We've never had a poopy diaper with her out though. So I guess we'll have to use a changing table for that.

tootsweet - have a good trip! come by more often!

A huge welcome to PJ and Rob! It's nice to have some cross-pollination!!! It's nice to have our lurkers become friends ;) Most of us were getting to know you over on the E/PJ TR.
Just to CLARIFY (I know y'all are familiar with that because of Elis) I was not lurking, that was that Rob guy. I just came right out and posted whether y'all liked it or not!

And the boys' PJ pants are da bomb!
I see PJ and I think people are talkin bout me! That had me a little....

marita - I'll say it for you! I hate DVC!
Heh.

for PJ and rob - the hotels that have DVC as well, have to have two budgets, two forecasts, etc - which makes it hard on the people in finance. Like marita!
So she hates DVC. But just the numbers end of it.
My parents own at OKW, BWV, and BCV. Can I still post here?

Umm. Pj? I don't have any pm's. Heh. I typed it pms first.

I'll get to typin real soon here...pms on the way! :lmao:

Ah, another Moover from in or near Kentucky. We're takin over. Nice to see ya here.
Hi! :wave2: Born and raised in Cincinnati but spent a lot of time in Kentucky. Newport is quite the college hang out these days, ya know.

PJ - Oh, I read my fair share of diaper stories. I'm sure people have talked about me before too. Not that I have or ever would change my baby on a restaurant table. Even though I've read those things. Probably why we never get sick. Is it true that you can get a free cup of ice water from the counter service places?
Yup. They have to give you a glass of ice water if you ask. That's what I always do. I ain't paying no $2.50 for a bottle of water. I never heard baby bottom washing stories but I did witness the diaper changing on a table at Chef Mickey's. :scared: Wasn't pretty. People would also change the kid and then leave the dirty diaper on the table when they left. Nasty.

Howdy, Moovers! What's shakin'? Get it? Moovers and shakers? I'm guessing that one has been used before, but hey, it's my turn! ;)

Hey Bonnster. You're like everywhere. Have a great time in Disney. Don't let that LBelle get you in trouble.

I never heard baby bottom washing stories but I did witness the diaper changing on a table at Chef Mickey's. :scared: Wasn't pretty. People would also change the kid and then leave the dirty diaper on the table when they left. Nasty.

EWWWWWWW!!!!!
DO they use bleach water or anything between guests?
What's the cleaning like at Chef Mickey's? I'll be eating there twice this time.
Icky poooooo!
literally!
Would it be bad form to squirt half a bottle of purell on the table, squish it around then run to the bathroom?

Did I hear someone issue a request for all lurkers to come out of hiding?

We have lurkers???? anyway Welcome RobIn! and any other lurkers feel free to join in the general craziness that passes for a goog time around here. Really. We were all lurkers once. Even Uma. Of course for her the lurking status lasted about 20 seconds. But really we are nice people. And we have great personalities. Oh dear. This isn't coming out right. Anyway. We welcome new folks. Or old folks. Tall folks. Short folks. You get the picture.

I pondered coming out of hiding about, approximately, somewhere around 54 hours ago when I think maybe I could have helped Moo...

hee hee- this makes me think of my favorite like from the Wedding Singer

"That would have been useful information YESTERDAY"

Oh, look at my ticker! Excatly one month to go. I better get cracking on peels and creams and haircoloring and stuff.
Speaking of peels, where has Lexi been????????

Peels and creams and haircoloring?????
Come now Marita. We know you are a 13 year old boy playing minesweeper in his mama's basement. Don't go changing for us.

However I agree.... Lexi, phone home!!!!!!

Well, I didn't want to come right out and say it but I guess I feel obligated now....
I am not really stalking nursebabe. I am just posting wherever she posts so I can warn y'all about her.
Why thank you PJ- it is so nice to meet a young person with so much community spirit. However I missed the warning... what exactly do we need to know about the babynurse?

My SIL teaches at a Montessori school so I am familiar with that. I was going to post "what do you teach?" because for all I know you taught physics or fine arts or kindergarten or automotive repair but for some reason that struck me as rude sounding so I added the grade bit.

Well, you're zen enough, how are ya at bicycle repair? Hey, you make 5 guys on here. Maybe we can hold our own now.
Hold your own what? hats?
Anyway- goog point. Here that guys- hang out, post often or MP and I will regale you with jokes we heard from our preschoolers. Or birth stories. Ha!

:scared: Thanks for the perspective. I will keep that in mind when I tempted to whine about my noon date at the bus stop in the 97 degree heat. Of course I am less sensitive to the heat when I am not working as incubator.

Mmmm. Never had one. I wondered how the filling held up. I will have to try one someday.

Nope Marita. Needing to clean the oven means you need a new house. ;) I have never had a self clean (till now) so I just bought that stuff that you spray and then wait and wipe out.

Hey Bonnie. Are you all packed? We would love to hear about your adventures when you return. Stop by the pasture more often.

EWWWWWWW!!!!!

Twice??? WOW! You're dedicated to the madness that is Chef Mickey's! If this makes you feel better, I would still eat there even after working there. That's a goog sign, right?

You really seem to be trying pretty hard to get people to post here. Is there something I should know about this place? :rolleyes1

Why thank you PJ- it is so nice to meet a young person with so much community spirit. However I missed the warning... what exactly do we need to know about the babynurse?
Glad to be of service. I'll send you the same PM I sent Celery with the dirt on that babynurse lady. (basically she's crazy!)

My SIL teaches at a Montessori school so I am familiar with that. I was going to post "what do you teach?" because for all I know you taught physics or fine arts or kindergarten or automotive repair but for some reason that struck me as rude sounding so I added the grade bit.
Finally someone who knows what Montessori is! I'm getting sick of explaining it. Me teaching automotive repair!! :lmao: Clearly you do not know me well at all!

Marita - That means you need a new oven for sure. At our first home we had a old none self cleaning oven. Thankfully about the time it needed cleaning the heating element went out. Instead of buying a new heating element we treated ourselves to a new bottom of the line glass top. As bottom of the line you can get with self clean of course. ;)

PJ - Can you just go in and ask for it or do you have to be ordering something?

Well I got all my hair cuts done. One of which is a little butchered. Oops. Of course it's the one with the weird crusty scalp that we try and hide. No hiding it with 1/2 in hair. Hopefully a goog scrubbing with some tea tree oil will get rid of it like usual.

Now I'm off to clean bathrooms and vacuum up about 7 inches of hair out of the carpet.

Celery - Thank googness you saw my edit. I am SO not one of those people. I try and be very classy, especially since we are a walking freak show and people are always watching us. However there was one time. And this is a true story. It was our first trip to Disney. We got about 45 minutes from home on a stretch of road where there is nothing for about 30 miles and Ethan pooped. He was a baby, just a few months. We pulled over to change him and we just happened to pull over at this broken down old building. We did toss that diaper into the tall weeds. We would have all been green by the time we got to Lake Placid and a trash can.

So we planted a tree to make up for that. :lmao:

Hi Marita! Love ya lady!

What have I been up to? Let's see, since May... June Forecast, Budget Round 1 for DVC (which will completely useless later on), Budget WDW round 1, which lasted weeks, July Forecast, more finetuning budget, august Forecast, finallize budget, and comng next week, Setember Forecast!! And I am totally burned out:faint:

Come back and tell us about your trip, and have FUN!!

Marita - I saw your light on and I was like "What's up?!?! Why's Marita at home?" Then I remembered! Happy Vacation Day, Marita!

I've rented the ECV for my mom.

My parents own at OKW, BWV, and BCV. Can I still post here?

I'll get to typin real soon here...pms on the way! :lmao:

Sure you can still post here, PJ. The pain I feel from DVC is not the fault of any of the owners.

Pm's with dirt?? I want one too!!!!!

And I have a confession. Which will come as no surprise to Cel. I have never eaten at Chef Mickey's.....:guilty:

Twinks, LOL about acting as an incubator!

And speaking of missing Meeps, where is Pumba??????

Moo-Oklahoma (where the wind comes sweepin' down the plains.....)

Hi again!
5 days till school starts ... we are beyond ready.
#1 Son is ill with a sore throat and such. If it's strep, git r done, boy!

We have recently become webkinz addicts so this is cutting into my own screen time.

Hope everyone is surviving the heat/rain/irritating coworkers/joys of pregnancy wherever you are!
