Goog morning, Sandy!

Hmm, a lake and HAIR, sounds like a perfect day. DH and I saw that in Germany back in about 1969, LOL. I don't remember any naked parts though.... and Germany is a lot more liberal that the states. Maybe I was too young and innocent to notice at the time

:rotfl2: 1 nekkid part was when they introduced the one guy as "burger" lots of kinds of "burgers" and then he "mooned" the audience - and that was the hairiest rear I've ever seen - it was so gross it was hysterical!!

at the end of the first Act - the entire cast takes off their clothes and then stands facing the audience, holding their hands singing a song - lots of "bits" no bikini waxes... :rolleyes1

Marita read this DL trip report - lots of pictures - great advice for a DL trip!!
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2179209&highlight=DVC+Mike

and on the Dis dl forum (lots of info) but here's some hotels within walking distance!
http://www.mouseplanet.com/dtp/maps/dl_area/dl_walking_distance_map
Nab - Loved the pictures!! When does the painting start? and where did you put the "stuff"? I have lots of "stuff"

Oh sure blame everything on the hott college chick.:sad2:

Celery: That sounds awesomely fun. But that stinks about your GPS. Now you can be like that commercial where Hansel and Gretel are in NYC and leaving a trail of breadcrumbs.

MommyP: I was hoping that you were nesting yesterday.;)

Nab: Looks like the remodeling is coming along quite well.

Sandy: What? Who's nekkid? Why are there naughty bits being shown?

Moo: A TV all to yourself? So whatcha gonna watch?

Everybody: Still a crazy, busy summer here at the crazynurse ranch. The kids start school in a couple of weeks. I cant believe how time flies!!!

The play was HAiR you know the Age of Aquarius? and Let the Sun Shine.. of course now that takes on a whole different meaning - the "bits" were male and female!! Just standin there - none at attention mind you... but their clothes sure came off fast... no buttons.... or zippers!!

:rotfl2:

Busy last few days....I see I am not the only one.

Going to two different things and driving back and forth eats alot of my day.

I took Hannah shopping for some new shorts since everything is on sale right now. Didn't find many left. They have fall school clothes and we even seen Halloween stuff out at the card stores. Now that is rushing it a bit.

The floor people called back and said they would redo the laundry room floor for cost....that would be $500..:scared1: They said it is a 45 degree angle from the doorway not the wall. I think we may have to leave it that way and hopefully it won't look bad when we do baseboards and put the laundry tub in there.

Sandy-- did you like the out come of the Bachelorette last night. I felt sad for Reid, rejected twice. Maybe he will be the next Bachelor. There is a new show on tonight More to Love, same idea only all the gilrs are on the heavy side. It is on after Hell's Kitchen. Why does everything have to be on Tuesday night. Big Brother, Hell's Kitchen, this new one and America's Got Talent. :sad2:

Rob-- nice to see you again. :wave2:

Lil'g must be in WDW by now...

W.T's stopped by to post picture but didn't stick around either.

Mommy P-- I see you are in your nesting stage....any day now!!

bbn - It was kind of fun watching anything I wanted! Actually, I watched that dating in the dark show since someone mentioned it on here last week. Guess I have trouble with all that shallowness. But I am enjoying my alone time!!!

Nabbie - I'm thinking about watching that More to Love show tonight. Sorry they're not willing to do better for you on the laundry room floor.

Cel - Is your GPS working? I read somewhere to put wet electronic equipment in a bag of rice to help dry it out. Did you see anything cool in NYC?

Sandy - I think I would have to skip seeing Hair ;) But I'd be happy to join you on a sand dune at the beach :thumbsup2

Sandy, thanks for the links, I have them bookmared.

Another crazy forecast week here, ugh! Late nites in the office tomorrow and Thursday. Plus we will probaly do budgets round 2 in August, w00t! But it shouldn't be as bad as first time around, just updating drivers.

Cel, NYC sounds fun! I was there only once when I was 17 (in 1969 when I saw the first moon shuttle go up and was checking out the states before getting married.) My charter plane got delayed for some reason and they put us up overnight in Manhattan. Walked around Time Square and explored Macy's. My parents had no idea what happened to me and were scared to death, somehow I assumed they would be notified of the delay, LOL.

MP, I keep waiting to hear every day that you had the baby! popcorn::

Nabbie, I'm sure you will get used to the tile over time.

RobIN, don't be a stranger!

Summers sure are slow around here.

I've been working on the most tedious file ever, getting data from a PDF file (which is all text merged together) and trying to get the pieces I need into Excel. After 3 hours I gave up!!! I wanted to finish it tonight and get it out of the way, but I dont think that's going to happen.....

Just did a bunch of dishes by hand. Since Nicole moved out, we dont have enough to justify the diswasher usually, and they have been piling up since Sunday. I've been working late every night, you'd think DH would have done them, he does sometimes, nut NOOOOOOOOOOO! So I did those and went to write this and now on to get some dinner. Tomorrow we have a birthday lunch for a girl in the office before we get all the submittals from the hotels, then it will be crazy busy for 2 days.

Funny thing, the girl I switched jobs with is unhappy in the field and want to have my job back and vice versa!!!!!!!! GRRRRRR!

Everyone else

I highly recommend separate TV's! DH and I watch NONE of the same programs, except perhaps the superbowl or Olympic openings

Everybody: Still a crazy, busy summer here at the crazynurse ranch. The kids start school in a couple of weeks. I cant believe how time flies!!!

Who wouldn't love bbn and lynette's posts? ha. c'mon, c'mon....

A couple of weeks? Yikes! That's WAY too soon!

Who indeed? ;)

Whassup everyone?

The past couple of days have been absolutely beautiful around here! Today's high temp was 86 degrees! FINALLY, summer weather!

Marita - I have a small TV in the bedroom, but it's nice having the nice, big flatscreen all to myself. Most of the time, I just read or play on the computer when hubby has crap on that I don't like!

Lynette! Yay for summer weather!!! It has definitely been warmer here lately too. We had quite a bit of rain tonight though. Too bad you can't just take the nice days off work to play with the kidlets before they go back to school.

I hear you on the TV Moo. Actually, we only have a conflict on weekends since hubby goes to bed at 5 during the week, but he pretty much watches TV in the bedroom anyway. He has a nice large plasma there...

I was sending infor to hubby and kids for the DL trip tonight. I said I wasnt sure about lunch or dinner at Blue Bayou. Then I looked at the lunch menu  The only thing I would want is a Monte Cristo sandwich for $22!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll pay for surf and turf, but NOT $22 for basically a ham and cheese sandwich!!

Yeah, Marita, DL's food prices are definitely higher than WDW's, which are plenty high as it is. But maybe you could share your sandwich with a family member because you don't usually eat all that much anyway . . .

I know hubby and I are going to try to share some meals on our next trip (although it may be tricky finding entrees we'll both eat - something other than burgers all the time). If not, I'm sure I can find some good appetizers to try!

moo - we saw ground zero, wall street, tiffanys, FAO shwarz, central park and trump towers.
oh - and we rode the staten island ferry - free and a nice ride plus great views of the statue of liberty.

yesterday I met peej's towtruck guy's son! I can't remember his name - cletus? otis? something country.

anyway, angel and I left the lights on in our crappy vw rabbit, so we had to get a jump.
it was interesting.

Nope Marita, still here. It'll probably be another 2 weeks at least. I'm doomed to only give birth to 2 month old babies.

Anyway see Mousesavers.com posted Free Dining through mid Dec? It's different, Value Resort=QS Dining, Mod. or Deluxe=regular Dinging. Not too bad.

GOOG Morning Moo'vers!!

MP :grouphug:

Lynette and Nab too! ah the good ole days - as I sit here knowing my kids are all growd up - I remember those days!

Marita $22!! :scared1: just keep in mind - you're taking a vacation!! :)

Celery that sounds like you had quite the time in New York!! (Cletus? Otis??!! lol)

Moo dh doesnt like it when I watch tv downstairs (my reality addiction) and he really doesnt like it when I stay up in the bedroom! but last 2 nights its been 3 shows at once from 7 - 10!! :rotfl2: Bachelorette, BIG Love, Chopped, Little People BIG World, Duggers, The Great American Road Trip, Bachelorette After the Rose, BIG BROTHER, :rotfl2:

GOOD AFTERNOON!

Big day here. DS turns 9. I'm not doing a "party"....just taking him and a couple of buddies for laser tag and pizza. Cake at home later.

Cel....Lexington will be such a let-down after NYC.

MP....Hope it's a tiny little princess.

BNCG....I hear ya on the school starting back. Didn't they just get out last week?

TWITTER? Anyone?

I joined last week and am following Sandy. (Hi, Sandy) but I un-followed Marita since she appears to be doing the same thing I'm doing. Observing.

There are lots of great Disney people to follow including the DIS, TP, Stitch Kingdom, etc. I'm also following a few site about Italy, sale deals, etc. Cuz I'm a nerd. And it's right out there for everyone to see who you're following. There's no privacy on Twitter.

Don't follow me. I won't be saying anything noteworthy. I promise.

LEXI!!

aw - Happy BIRTHING DAY! You beautiful mama you!! :goodvibes :grouphug:

I was thinking of you when I checked in here this am - I miss you!!

and you're following me!? :rotfl2: Guess I'd better tweet something!! :rotfl2: I'm following all the Big Brother Stuff - and some Chicago News, as well as Anderson Cooper (he gives links to get the news!) I try not to bug people by not tweeting every day!! And I hate to lose my last tweet - RIP Walter Cronkite!!

I'm so bad at follow thru - I havent checked in on Facebook in weeks!!

I'm checking in as I'm following a pre trip report - Maroo - who works for special needs kids - and she encourages other Dis Wish Trippers - so anyway, 2 kids are on a very very critical list - prayers for Noah (young boy who probably wont survive the night - he had to cut short his wish trip - sad that he is so sick! http://www.noahgrantjohn.blogspot.com/ (on the side is his pictures from his WISH trip!)

DH needs his computer!!

Lexie--Happy Birthing day to you!

Sandy-- I hear you on all the shows being on the last few nights. Tonight is only America's Got Talent, they are just bring it down to 40 acts so not really much going on there either. Watched the After the Rose...Jillian looks really happy, felt sorry for Reid though. You can vote who you want the next Bachelor to be on at the website.

Marita-- I think I will be leaving the floor. I will just leave wash all over the floor so I dont' have to look at it. My sister just told me I am the only one going to see it anyway.....:lmao:

Fireplace went in today with out the mantel. We have so many details to finish up, will it ever end. BIL is coming back next week to finish up baseboards and doors.

It has been raining and getting humid out there. I want the sun!

We are thinking of going to Niagara Falls for the long weekend so the sun better shine.

Mommy P-- how are we doing today? August is just around the corner.

Hi everyone!

Happy Birthing Day to Lexi!

Just go home at 10:50 from work, uggghhhh!! And it was raining again, so I have a hard time seeing, not a good situation at all!:scared1:

I need to go wash up and get some dinner,,,

Have a good day tomorrow.

earlier I posted about Noah - he passed away . from the blog.

Wings
It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I write this blog.

Noah earned his wings today. Just after 2pm this afternoon he went to be with Jesus.

No more tubes...no more pain...he is whole.

Thank God for Noah - he touched many, many lives - blessings for Give Kids the World, and Make a Wish, and those Disney CM's that put a smile on his and his families faces!
