Did complaining start with a "b", Marita?! If so, that would be the reason it got censored :lmao:

Sounds like that BB is a pretty smart cookie!

Cel - No real cost to me for you to crash with us at SSR on MNSSHP night!!! :cool1: I'm happy not to have to donate those leftover incentive points to Disney.

Now we just need to convince Marita to join us. Marita - We have room for you to stay over too!!!!!

I like the Halloween party best of all the WDW parties that I've attended so far. And Halloween is my sister's favorite holiday, so she'll probably nag me to wear a costume this time :scared: Hope I'm small enough by September to dress as a pirate wench pirate: Arrghhh!!!

I hit the 60 pound mark over the weekend, and hubby's lost 50ish. It bites that men can lose so dang fast. But he's happy he can fit into the next smaller size of jeans.

Nabbie - Congrats to Nicholas and Hannah for passing their swimming levels! Hope Nicholas feels better soon  I went to my swim class again tonight. I think it's really helping my flexibility and stamina already. I didn't feel pooped after grocery shopping tonight.

bbn - I don't know hardly any songs except ones from the 60s and 70s :sad2: Goog thing Cel can read your mind!

Mony - Did you whip that reunion mailing into shape finally?!

OK, I'll go if I can. Just be warned, i am told I snore.........

Marita - Fortuitously, it's on a Friday night! So no early work day the next day to deal with! I have an evening flight the next day, so all I'll have to worry about is getting my stuff rounded up by checkout time.

Cel - I'm thinking we should get an early dinner somewhere inside MK so we're all ready to go when the party starts!

Rise and shine!!!!!!!!!!

I woke up at the ungodly hour of 5 AM today :scared1: But I have the 8:30 town hall meeting with our new VP today, plus I have to get gas, so it's a good thing. It's at the convention center at my old hotel, so I'm thinking of leaving at 7 and get an egg and cheese omelette before the meeting from the marketplace. Hope knitfreak gets in at 8 so I can get in and eat it., since I dont have a key anymore.

So, Moo, is the trip on or still in question?

Have a great day, everyone!!

Random thought... In Germany, at least among my family and friends, it is quite common to serve champagne for a casual afternoon visit. After coffee and cake.

Sounds good to me. ;)

Sorry I've been MIA again. Sunday my internet crashed again. I didn't have a chance to call about it until yesterday. We got the modem hooked up to my lap top, but it seems my PC's Ethernet card is unreadable. So I've put in a call to Acer to get that fixed. At least my lap top is working now.

Moo - Congrats on your weight loss. That's amazing!

Big U/S: Well it wasn't with the regular Dr. because he had to go out of town on "emergency". So I had to go to Radiology Regional and of course he couldn't give me any real answers. But he did say, "Don't worry". So hopefully that means all is clear, but the baby is still breech. So it's still a waiting game to see what the baby will do. I could have sworn that he/she had already turned because I can feel and SEE most movement up top. But I guess those little arms are just super strong. The u/s was like 45 minutes. Very cool to get to see the baby for so long. He even spent a lot of time on the face area and it's SOOOOOOO cute. No longer looks like an alien, you could see a big trademark family nose and full lips(not sure where those come from, but Kaleb has them too). Once it opened it's mouth. So cool.

So what's new with everyone here?

Moo do you remember where I"m going in Michigan? I cant find my paperwork - I wrote down the hotel you said had day passes for the indoor waterpark - if you remember - I'd appreciate it!

(and Murphy's Law will say I'll find it if you post it!! )

:woohoo: :banana:Moo and Mr MOO WTG take it one day at a time - dont look at the loss, look at what you are gaining!! to your health!

Marita I'm old too! :wizard: on getting your hotel! (resort) (I cant imagine you doing the b word at all!!)

Alli hope all is well in your neck of the woods!

MP congrats on getting the US (I think, since that baby is still breach - I remember having to lay inverted and playing a CD at my crotch to get the baby to turn :rotfl2: baby turned so who knows :confused3)

Nab is your bil working on your house?

Cell, Lynette, Pumba, MamaCell, BBN, PJ, shout out and :wizard:

I cant hear out of my left ear, and the medicine I have to rinse with kills my taste buds... blech I feel as if I'm falling apart!

It would've been neat to do Liberty tree tavern because when they had characters, they dressed up for the parties. but there aren't any characters there anymore.
we could do crystal palace - the food is good, but pooh is not my favorite.
we could also do chef mickey again.
or we could pick somewhere else. whatever y'all want.

Ew who would even want to go to Chef Mickey's? :scared:

Actually, I will be at CMs one week from right now!! Wednesday was the last day for the kids. :sad1: There may have been tears...
I can't believe my first year is already over! I already miss some of my babies, but I get to keep my second graders so I'm glad I don't have to see them all go. I'm going to post a few pictures from the field trip but please, please don't quote these! Here are the little buggers:
*poof* like magic...

Favorite quote from the field trip was, "was Abraham Lincoln a Blood or a Crip?" You can't make this stuff up. I also enjoyed learning the new version of do your ears hang low which has been modified to do your chain hang low. I think they sang that for a solid hour on the bus.

Life continues to be complicated. The abbreviated version is: concert and graduation in Cincinnati, come back here to pack, drive down to Florida. I'll be in Orlando by Tuesday and my first day of work is Wednesday!!

PJ, cute pics. I love the ones of the kid before and after the trip, LOL.

MP
, so great you got to see the baby so close. In my day, they were brown blobs.

Made to the meeting this morning in plenty of time, had my omelette too. Heard that knitfreak is meeting her future inlaws tonight for the first time.
The VP had a funny presentation, recounting his life in pictures since he was a kid. Something about a brown coat he wore as a kid was one thing, which was a lesson to be learned, but I totally forgot what that lesson was :confused3

I am having trouble tonight with getting to a work application, and the IT people say they cant help me with personal (as opposed to work issued) computer, even though I am trying to get to a work application. How messed up is that????????? Im trying to work and can't! Working around it tonight, but not a long term solution.

Moo
, somehow I totally missed your weightloss update last night. WTG!

Had the egg and cheese omelette at 8 this morning and didnt eat lunch, and then ate entirely too much chocolate in the afternoon cause I was feeling the need for a snack. Made me almost feel sick. Guess I better go get something for dinner...

Had to get hubby to fix the computer, my server or maybe it was the computer would not let me get on to the internet all day. I got a lot done since I wasn't sitting here all day. :lmao:

The kids are not impressed that I hung out the towels to dry today. Actually hung out 3 loads. We finally got sunshine with a nice warm breeze today. So the towels are a little hard. :laundy:

Moo-- congrats on the weight loss. We need pics.

P.J.-- Sounds like you are going to be pretty busy for the next few days. I agree this school year flew by. I have two more field trips to go on yet though.

Sandy-- Yes my BIL is doing our basement. The main rec room, two piece washroom, laundry, office ,utility room with storage and storage room under the stairs. Big job. He has been sanding down there all day. Only room that hasn't been touched yet is the laundry room and that is the only room I know the colour I want... some shade of yellow. :lmao:

Marita-- Now I know how you stay so skinny , you don't eat!

debbie......I used to hang the towels on the line too ......they were stiff as boards....so I got smart.......dried them on the line and then put them in the dryer for a few minutes with one of those soft thingies....worked like a charm and I didnt use the dryer for one hour to dry them.,....Then we got the CMP bill and I saved a whole load of money.......six bucks to dry them outside....bull ..so dried them inside and got the softness back.......only thing I missed was the outdoor smell and bugs......somehow I brought a few earwiggs in the house.....NOPE NOT FOR ME....

Tonight we went to Margaritas for supper and enjoyed ourselves as usual....the waitress remembered us from two weeks ago and so did the manager.....he made sure hubbys super tia burrito had steak in it.........they made a mistake the last time.....not anyones fault ....they all look the same when it comes out.

Tomorrow hair dye coming up.....I need it bad.......last hair job was the week before we went to Disney....so in need ..

starting to get a headache......wonder if it is the yellowish green stuff that is on the trucks and ground or is it the food I ate.......???????

have a good night my friends

Marita-- Now I know how you stay so skinny , you don't eat!

Hey, I ate about a 1/2 pound of chocolate today, and I'm thinking of making another toll wiht prociutto and cheese.

Nab, do you have an ETA on finishing the basement yet? That must be a mess.

There is absolutly nothing I care to watch on tv tonight, so Im playing judge shows I Tivod.

I think tonight will be an early night, getting up at 5am does not agree with me....

Pumba -- I love the smell of my sheets when I hang them out. Plus I am weird I love hanging the clothes out and then watching them blow in the wind. I hear you on the bugs. I give everything a good snap before I put anything back in the basket. My mom used to hang out all winter long and then tell us not to touch the frozen clothes because they would rip in two. She said it bleached them. :confused3

it were more then one guy down there it would be faster.

Now there is an insight for you, LOL

Sorry, Nab, just kidding.

Good evening to all! Six and a half school days left until summer vacation! Can I get a w00t? :woohoo: These last two weeks of school are the storm before the calm. ;) Yesterday, Boris completed his soccer tryouts for next season (3.5 hours!). This week, he also "graduated" to a Webelo Scout. Also, Natasha had her field day today at school. Boris' is tomorrow. In the next few days, we also have 2 class ice cream parties and town's End of the School Year Bash on the town common. The kids are SO excited!

Peej, those pics are great! That first little guy is such a cutie! Are you intending to keep your current apartment? And what's going to become of Paco......will he be joining you in Orlando, or will he be summering at the Crazynurse Ranch? :rolleyes1

NAB, I was going to ask about an ETA on your basement's completion too. Does your BIL have any idea when it might be done?

Pumba, everything here is covered in pollen too. It's wreaking havoc with my sinuses!

Marita, 5am? That's an unholy hour! Get thee to bed early before you upset the balance of the universe!

Moo, congrats to you and Mr. Moo on your continued success! By the time your WDW trip rolls around, maybe you'll be able to go ECV-free!

MommyP, did you get the doc to give you lots of prints for the baby's scrapbook?

Cel and Sandy: !!!

HMM, I distinctly remember mothers all over being totally filled with joy when the kids went back to school..

My universe is already in shambles...

Heck, I'd lo love ride an ECV, except I'm afraid of mowing people over and the cost. So I guess I'll be walking...

Cel and Moo, how about O'Hanah's for dinner? Or GF or Kona cafe?

Sounds like a lot of fun and merriment going on in lalijack-ville! That's an official location, no? Congrats to Boris!

Summering at Crazynurse made me lol. Paco will be summering with Eren. He spent Christmas break with her and she fell in love with him and begged me to let her keep him. Should that offer arise again, I have to say I would be very tempted. I, however, will be keeping my same apartment which greatly simplifies things.

And thanks about the pictures. :goodvibes That little guy is a second grader, so I get to keep him next year. The principal tried to exit him, but I raised a stink and she's giving him one more year. :yay: He has a lot of behavior issues but it's totally not his fault. Long story.

Okay, I really do have to go now. Perhaps I will check back before bed.

Not THIS mother! I loathe the scheduling and tedium of the school year! I can't wait to have my kids around so that we can get up and do things together on a whim. Also, my kids are happy to spend their summer vacation in our yard, with friends and/or without, so I don't feel like I have to schedule them for a zillion activities to keep them happy.

Thanks for the congrats for Boris, Peej. He's quite proud of himself. Also, DH somehow got talked into being a secondary den leader next year, so Boris is loving that idea too!

Poor Paco....you really should be more understanding of his behavioral issues. I mean really, can it be easy for the poor lil guy to live with YOU? Traipsing hither and yon all the time, leaving poor Paco (or Oliver, or whatever you choose to call him on any given day) to his own devices. For shame!

Read today that for the next few days the castle will be lit up in blue and white at times to show support for the Orlando Magic in the NBA finals. GO MAGIC!
