Hope Marita got up in time. I would probably stay up all night. I am like Moo don't sleep well the night before vacation.

Today is cold and sunny. 15 years ago it was warm and beautiful. I know this because today is my anniversary. We did not have to wear coats, had beautiful pictures outside with the turning leaves.

I have been shopping looking for the right watch to give to hubby tonight. I picked it up this morning. I also got him ( well really me ) a Christmas ordanment with our names on the front and 15 years and the year on the back of a pewter heart. Traditional for 15 years is crystal and non traditional is a watch. Plus chocolate, who doesn't like chocolate.

Also on my shopping trip I found a nice blouse to wear for our annual Christmas picture, which is being taken on Halloween. When I made the appointment the lady thought we were coming dressed up....well we are , just not in costumes. Again we are all matching Miss Hannah's Christmas dress. One of these times I will tell them to wear what they want and see what happens....

Busy day at work today.

After work tonight, I went shopping to pick up a gift for one of our bosses (one I work with a LOT) for Bosses' Day tomorrow. Hope all the bosses like their gifts. Glad I didn't have to shop for all of them!

I had dinner last night with Melinda.
Her hair is TRES CUTE!!!

I'm headed back to Nashvegas now.
I won't be on much this weekend. My laptop is dead, hopefully temporarily.
I'll probably go to cel mama's here and there to log on, but I'm looking forward to a computer free weekend so I'll work on my house.
I've still got cabinets to clean from the evil mouse droppings!

When I get back online, I expect a brief trip report from our favorite peej.

Hubby got me a pair of Swarovski crystal drop earrings and we went out for dinner.

Still sorting though the stuff from the basement. I feel like I am not getting anywhere. I want my living room back. We have limited our couch choices down to two. If we don't order soon we will be sitting on the floor for Christmas. My mantle guys suppose to come back next week with a price and sketch.

Hannah is at Chuck E. Cheeses for a birthday party and I have to take Nicholas to get a hair cut. School pictures on Monday.

It was really cold this morning. Hannah wore he winter coat. It hit 0 or maybe even a touch under with the wind.

I'm going with my sister to her weight loss surgery orientation tomorrow. Her insurance doesn't provide as good coverage as mine did, so it may be a while, but I'm pretty excited to be able to support her like she did me if she decides to go for it.

I've been seeing on FB that MommyP's DD has been sick. Sending some healing prayers her way

GOOD MORNING!

I just woke up! I KNOW! I haven't had any kiddos here for the past two nights so I've stayed up late watching movies.

Thursday went out to grab some dinner w/ Cel. Bless her heart, she listened to me chatter for over an hour and hardly got a word in. She looks much skinnier than when last I saw her. But no pictures, Moo. Sorry.

Last night I road to Loo-uh-vull with my friend to pick up her son at his dad's house. She wanted company and I didn't have a darn thing to do so I went along. Watched The Proposal when I got home.

Cel.....I stopped at the auto parts store after I dropped you off Thursday night and bought some antifreeze. I now have heat in the car. FYI.

Marita...Are you medicated? Is it helping? Do you have a cuff?

NAB....Earrings sound pretty! Happy Anniversary!

BNCG.....Drama? I hate drama. Hope everything's OK.

I am a doofus and I left the usb cable for my camera at Hollywood's house. I actually left it there this summer and then when I was there just now I completely forgot to grab it. I ordered another one online but it's on back order so you'll all have to wait awhile for pictures. I know everyone is devastated, but that's just the way it is. We had a great trip though despite the sweltering weather. Seriously it was just as hot as it was this summer. It's 50 and sunny and beautiful here right now. Now that I love. Last Saturday I was at the pool and then at the Magic Kingdom. What happened?

A good friend/co-worker of Hollywood's was diagnosed with cancer last week and it's spread throughout her body. It doesn't look good. She's moved home to start chemo. She's 25 I believe. Prayers for her.

Thanks for the good wishes for my sister. Today was just to turn in paperwork and hear the surgeon talk about the various options. The one who was supposed to be there wasn't able to make it due to a surgery running long, so the head surgeon did the orientation. I had only met him briefly before, so it was nice to hear him give the presentation.

We had a nice lunch at a soup/sandwich/salad restaurant called Zoup! I had some tasty seafood bisque. We did a little shopping before heading home. We had a little sunshine today, so the changing leaves looked pretty.

Today's DD 13th bday!! We got her a snuggie, a couple of books (Peter and the Starcatcher - Book 4!! Dan Brown's The Secret... DH forgot to pick up her cake - I didnt have any money - and they were in the 4 hour movie - Toy Story!!) So after dinner we picked up a bday cookie! (we went to eat Breakfast for dinner - Walker Brothers!)

Tomorrow DS and his wife are coming - I'll make Julia Child's Beouf Bourginne (sp? Beef Burgandy!! lol) and we'll have the cake AND a homemade apple pie - she cant have cake!

Moo....Ryan Reynolds nekkid. Wow. I actually had to google after the movie to see their ages. Sandra Bullock is 45 and RR is 33. I think that officially makes her a "cougar". I hate that word. I also watched My Life in Ruins on Thursday night and there is roughly the same age difference between the stars in that one. I see a trend.

(I'm only up because dh can snore when he breathes in - or when he breathes out - its fascinating! Which wakes me up completely!!)

Are you going to make a pot roast with the chuck? or chop it up - brown it up pour a bottle of wine on top with some beef stock... and...

There's also a trend to get away from the term "cougar" - a cougar goes on the "prowl" if a younger guy comes after an older woman... but then there's the Hugh Hefner "relations"...

My apple pie is done - just hope it tastes half as good as it looks! (doubtful, its always the scary part... that first cut... will it be a soggy mess? too sour??)

morning everyone...
My life has been SOOOOOOO busy that I have had barely enough time to (well)..just not enough time.
I did go to the local mall and get my seasonal flu shot....I have to have it because I want to protect my hubby. he has A-fib and him having the flu could do him harm....so this was my first flu shot...
I am still debating on this swine flu on.....I do remember having this shot ( it was actually a gun) back in 77 or 78.....we went to the local community center and we all lined up and got it.....I remember my dear father saying to me....Oh your arm is turning into a snout......scared me to death of course....but we all survived from the shot...
Today we are going to NH for an afternoon wedding. I finally got some shoes that my spread out feet could fit into .......I have been wearing crocs for so long that they spread...so my size 5 1/2 are now a size six...I got some that are not fancy but will be comfortable....they probably are not the right kind to wear with a long skirt but I want good feet......happy feet..

Yesterday was our daughters anniversary and our grandsons birthday......he is now 18 and the dear brat went and got a tattoo......broke my heart.....he figured he wanted one and that he had to wait cause no one would sign for him.....still breaks my heart.....but as a grandparent....we love our little ones unconditionally........they do things and we just love them anyways.

Oh yah.....our church closed its doors this past week......and another catholic church will be following this coming week......breaks my heart to see the church I have been to for 62 years gone......The church was the oldest in our town...152 years....the one that is closing this coming week is 120 but also they had to get into a crypt and remove the man that helped build this church and became the Monsigner. He is now buried in a cemetery.....
Our new church would be the Bascilica which just became that a few years ago.......an awful big one......all of the churches in our town were neighborhood churches....so that the locals could walk to them....so this will be three down and we still have three big ones left.....

fyi, pysch 101..not all the mentally disturbed...are in the hospitals.
& this one..is showing signs of being dangerous...worst he is a
"snitch". [ that means...he has police connection..& they have done
illegal things..against me...."using their legal authority"...."no one
here would believe.....how our legal system....thinks nothing of
breaking the law..themselves.

...but , as you kno, [ from my lecturing - ] ...i also used my
..pysch. knowledge..in my own life? & my favorite..intervention?,
is of course,~~reality orientation!....one can bank on it!


..one thing...i lean thru these experiences.....our legal system, is very
similar..to our government....where "politics"....are liked a wild-card,
..that can make being in the right, means nothing...and where one
can used their authority..to conduct illegal activities.

& wouldn't you kno it?..i also had a major..problem....with a person @
work....that also thought..she was immuned.....because of "ties". it
took all summer, but she is gone..to everyone delight~


but..in the end.....using my "try & true"..pysch. skills made right over
wrong. ...[ you should 've seen his face..when the judge
warned him....."it's a no-brainier....you can be dangerous! & you
better not be in front of me, even if i hear..your shooting in the
woods....or even playing loud music~ while they're over there,


* one thing thou....why here?...it's alarming...to learn...those in
the legal profession, {majority &....those "entrusted" to do justice},
instead only cared about, making money....and winning...even if they hurt
the ones they are supposed to protect. justice & the truth are low
priorities.....and the criminals..know this..& used it against us. they!
should also be held..accountable.( in the beginning..wasn't that's why
...the founders of our country..made up....a check & balancing
system? ) . i think..we're lacking..the "checking part".

Speaking of Church nice to see Lexi back with her Sunday qoute.

Moo-- I do love the trees when they different colours. That is why I got married in the fall. Now a good wind will probably come and not them down. That is the part I hate. Glad you will be there for your sister. You have done so well so far.

Sandy-- Your meals sounds great. We had our second Thanksgiving meal yesterday at the inlaws so it is hamburgers for us today. Hope you have fun with the family coming over.

Babynurse--even though I don't know the problem,everyone could use a hug.

P.J.-- I think that way too when coming back from vacation. Just think last week were where..... I will wait paitently for the pictures.

just sitting here unwinding before hitting the bed.....we got home a few moments ago and I stripped and put my jammies on.
The wedding was just simply gorgeous.......all fall colors inside and outside fall colors and a beautiful rose garden that still had some beautiful flowers on.....BUT snow was falling in big flakes and did that for about three hours....it is spitting snow here now.......
The menu at the wedding was yummy.......they had starters as we walked and mingled ......scallops enwrapped in bacon, beef teriyaki, chicken something and all sort of cheeses and fruits and crackers......good thing we had that snack because we didnt eat until six thirty......we started off with pumpkin or squash soup, then our salads came out .......then our entree which hubby and I chose the seafood stuffed haddock....with red potatoes and a summer blend of vegetables.......very very good and presented well......then a cake that was out of this world.......not sure what the icing was but it tasted like a whipped cream but probably wasnt...
we stayed for a few moments of dancing and headed back to Maine...

Nab, I didnt have the heart to look at the tattoo because I was trying not to cry......I know that tattoos are just that.....not the inside of him that is sweet and loving and caring.......he is a good kid and I love him to pieces.....but maybe I will look at another time on what it is on his arm.

Lil Grumpy--I havent been on the trip reports for three years....I still love to go and read the reports but moved onto FOOD......I love the restaurant board and to read all those reviews of what people think of the disney selections......and the PHOTOS .....oh my ...those are just wonderful...
