Alright, party time! 1:30????? WTH, how did this happen?
I crashed earlier, still messed up from my 4:15 wakeup time Friday. Slept till 11:30. SO now I am bright eyed and bushy tailed with nothing to do. Well, I suppose I could do dishes or something. And maybe I will! Heh!

DS leaves at 8:30 tomorrow morning (actually today now), so he will leave the house by 6:30 or 7. And I have issued requests to be woken up for the departure. So that means I will likely have another messed up day. Oh Joy!

much pain & suffferin...& then seeing ...how easy/simple..the
corrective measures..could be.....makes one frustrated...so much
"good"ness in life....is being wasted.

@ work..they're kiling us...overlaoded, and just plain
wrong..what the dump. those in power...are beyond igornace,
they're do things in spite...that always covered up/.

...but it dosen't matter.....because...the dynamics i speak of here, are
very effective..no matter the conditions.

..i could be wrong..but in the intra -workings..of our menaings
for...living..i think..is about an exchange rate...rahter, than
gains or losses..so if love..was rated by power....one = 10 the
times...the things we measure in negative terms, like jealously,
hating, & so forth. [ 10 x= jus a refernce..for math.]

very interesting..observations..about "mor money". as it turned out
in our family..of 10 childen, i ended up on top....despited...my
handicaps.....me thinks, about why?..* when i was growing up,
into adulthood...i never compared myself with my silbings. instead
i focusd..on the things.that had meanings for me. jealuosly,
distract one's efforts...to the the good things one can be acomplished.

..* say or think..what you want...the more i learn/live/love life...the
more impress..with the ways..it was set up. now thats a magical
power...a force...within great wisdom....driven by kindness!

man, i hate seeing it being wasted...even by my mistaKes!

We decided its time for a new TV and it has to be flat, large and hang over the fireplace.

problem: fireplace wall is this horrid fieldstone. Have to figure out how to hang something up there or how to remove the field stone.

Morning all,

This is the last weekend of holidays for everyone so we had family time yesterday. I am really going to hate getting up and moving tomorrow.

UMA-- We watched Eagle Eye last night too. After we sent Hannah to bed. Her movie was Air Bud.

No problem sending her to bed last night because the tooth fairy was coming. Both my kids lost a tooth yesterday. One while having lunch and the other at dinner. And no it wasn't my cooking either.

Moo-- the kids still talk about having ice cream for supper that night and meeting up with you. They want to do it again.

BDG-- Happy New Year to you too!

Marita-- Sorry your nest is going to be so empty today. Hope the year goes by fast so he can return. Takes lots of naps today.

DD came over this morning to say good-bye to her brother, but she missed him. So she went to clip newspaper coupons, then took a nap, made a chocolate chip pancake, rummaged through her old room, packed up a HUGE bag of groceries and some leftover stuffed peppers and left. And came back a minute later to take a full 1/2 gallon of milk. Oh, and she took the 2 free movie tickets I won at work. She's got it made, out of the house and free food!

Mony, YAY for the new TV, but no advice about the fireplace from me. Huby' plasma pic is fabulous.

I did a ton of dishes this morning, cleaned up the carp on the counters, and did general cleanup. It's only 10 AM. I am not usually even up at this hour. This is not boding well for the rest of the day for me, I am sure to be a mess again later. My recycle bin is way overflowing. So frustrating having no pickup for 2 weeks over the holidays. I may sin and throw some things in the garbage.... Except gallon wine bottles dont fit there well either.

I may tackle dismanteling the xmas tree before I crash though. Somehow I feel the need to declutter, with both my kids gone..... WAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!

ETA: It is now 2 hours later. Where is everyone?????? I took down the tree ornaments. but hubby won't put the tree away until tomorrow. I am not going to argue about this, not worth it. I "washed" my washing machine with bleach, as the tech told us to do, $200 later from when it did not spin properly. Got stuff picked up and/or put away. No idea where my old "XMAS stuff" box went, so I unpacked another one, which contained DH's 30 year service statue. Which is bigger than mine! What's up with that???? They have been steadily shrinking them over the years. How did his get bigger? (He is 5 years behind me.)

I am really still frustrated over all the garbage with no place to go. Well, garbage will tomorrow, but recycle not till Thursday.

I know, I know, this was scintillating commentary, no need to thank me.

Please note my clever use of editing previous posts so as to not look like the total loser I am.

Dinner choices are: Leftover lasagne, leftover stew, leftover stuffed peppers, or a fresh chicago roll with prosuitto and cheese....
I think I'm done cooking for a while.

things went well at the breadman's yesterday.
I cried, he comforted, we took down decorations, I cried some more.
it was good seeing the kids.
he told them the truth -
we're not girlfriend and boyfriend anymore because Daddy is not in love with Amber and it's better not to lie to someone you care about but we're still friends.
or that's what he told the 9 year old.
he told the 6 year old some version of that.
he and I both still want to date each other and he has no plans to date anyone else.
I told him about eharmony and how frustrating it is since "Exactly like breadman but without commitment issues." isn't a box I can check for what I'm looking for.

Mony - Yay on the new flat screen tv! We're really enjoying ours. Do you have real fieldstone or the cultured kind that is more of a facing? I wonder if your house plans would say if it's hard to tell. Seems like it would be really hard to remove real fieldstone. What about putting up a really wide mantel and just securing it to that?

Marita - I know how you must be feeling today! Dang kids moving so far away. I was kind of depressed the day Mari left after Christmas so I was glad I was able to go back to bed for a few hours.

It's great that you're having some nice weather for Lex and DTD! It's pretty foggy here today.

Well, I guess I'm heading out for a while. Maybe to see a movie and to pick up some groceries. Hubby is taking it easy today and keeping his leg elevated. Which means I will probably have to take the trash out to the curb by myself. Oh, goody.

Thanks Lil G! That's why I'm not too disappointed about the loss because we HAVE had an amazing year considering where we have come from. I may not care for Saban, but he has done an amazing job with this team. I think it was good for them to lose, so that he doesn't get 'too big' for his britches. He still has work to do.

Actually, I'm not really a TIDE fan (yes they should make a detergent correlation ), but my son is and that is why I am. Trying to be a supportive mom.

I enjoyed the "fun ribbing" between me and Wendy. I had lots of 'splainin' to do at church today though. 6 hours and counting, and everything will be back to normal.

Monica - Cool that you're getting a new TV, but can't think of what you can do with the stone.
