I think I may need to go out and buy and other smaller suitcase. We have two big ones that over the measurements they give for Airtan. Don't know how we will pack dressy stuff and our everyday stuff in smaller suitcases.

I told Hannah she will have to put socks, underwear and shoes in her backpack. Then she said how will she fit two build a bears in there then. Good question.

We went to the mall after church and the day is gone. Waited 45 minutes with Hannah to see Santa and then she froze and didn't know what she wanted for Christmas.:confused3 Even though all though the line she was saying camera. Saw a lot of Mothers forcing their kids to see Santa. Nice picture they got of a crying child. Funny any other day we tell our kids not to talk to strangers.

Breaking news, they are going to film the second book of the Twilight series.
70.2 MILLION!!! That's some serious dough. All the Twilightmoms have seen it multiple times  (once is good for me....maybe twice, for the popcorn).

Might I suggest a Coleman cooler and duct tape?

I always "force" my kids to sit on Santa's lap! :sad2: (I KNOW). I want the crying or distressed pics for: a). cute (sadistic) scrap book pages, and b). for blackmail. Luckily, mine have always been fine upon receiving their candy-canes. Norah is my odd one who didn't cry.

Happy Sunday! I need a long winter's nap.

Oh! HI HAYDEN who is 9!!!! I dig that movie! "Bow-chicka-bow-wow" :rotfl2:

Happy Sunday! I need a long winter's nap.

I went to take a nap at 6:30. DD said, you are not seriously going to take a nap at 6:30, are you?

OH YES I AM!!!!!!
Back up by 7:30, no harm done! Now I have to hang up at ton of sweaters that went for a second tumble in the dryer...

Nabbie, good luck with the packing!

Anyone want GBC made with heavy cream and cheese? Apparently I am the only one in the house to eat them. DD sucked her dad in on the low fat/no fat diets. The recipe said it was 6 servings (with 4 cans of beans or 1 large bag frozen). Well, those are some very hefty servings! Easily feeds 12!

You have sweaters in Florida?

UHm, YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was in the 60's last week! And it can get to the 40's even. Or 30's. but that is usually too early for me to be up, but poor hubby has to do frost control in that weather.

I ordered 5 turtle necks online a few weeks ago, I was low on cold weather wear. 5 for $100 at JC Penney, great deal! They were all on sale.

Wendy i really liked the movie. I was smiling like a young girl throughout the film.

I told my sister and my girlfriend, if they wanns go I'll go again.

I just wish I had my Twilight book. My mom has it. I just wanted to take it all in.

I am so happy for the Twilight team and their success this weekend. I am more excited to hear that New Moon is heading forward.

I can't wait for the box set. I hope that they make all four books into movies.

I have an uncle who really needs some prayers of strength to not give into his addictions. He's having a real tough time. thanks.:goodvibes

one visit to the mouse ....was the second weekend in December and we froze to death...good thing we had Maine duds with us.....LL Bean jacket that we wore when we left Maine and mittens in my pocket......it was two days of 80 and two days of below 40 and steam was coming off the pool.......wierd weather ....

BUT cold is COLD .....a few of us here on the Moovers know what cold is....twenty below zero is not a fun day....... BUT when it gets to be nineteen degrees above ......then wow it is like a heat wave......

Peej - No need to clean for drop-in family  Hope they keep the drama level low once you arrive. I think the denim with white sounds crisp looking. I've probably seen more group photos where people wear all denim.
I did clean. A fun time was had by all. I was glad they stopped in. They had to get on the road early this morning, but we had a very nice evening. :goodvibes

Hi:) my name is hayden im off in two days(thanks giving break):cutie:
Thank God for Thanksgiving break, right? Hi, Hayden. :wave2:

I think I may need to go out and buy and other smaller suitcase. We have two big ones that over the measurements they give for Airtan. Don't know how we will pack dressy stuff and our everyday stuff in smaller suitcases.
WOOHOO for packing because that means your trip is SOON!!!! :yay: :yay: :yay: You must be super excited!! :hyper:

mony....glad you got to have a moment to yourself and go see the movie. Sounds like you really needed it! Many, many prayers sent for your uncle.

I am having a major can't focus moment. Can't even sit still. I did just finish packing, but trying to sit at the computer and do lesson plans is KILLING me. Must. Sit. Still!!!!! See, Utah, this is why you need to have your son tested. So he can sit still and focus. Someone should have had me tested at some point. Just sayin. Many of my teachers actually did suggest it. :rolleyes1

bbn...last night my aunt and I went to wal mart. So it wasn't wal mart on a Friday night, but it was wal mart on a Saturday night. and that's almost as good. duh. So anyway I needed a soap dish and I got the most ridiculous soap dish that reminds me of the monkey lady so it makes me laugh. When you come watch Paco Bell, look at it. It's in the bathroom. Does that make you want to watch Paco Bell for me? :flower3: (see how I slipped that in?) ;)

Hello to Hayden! Sounds like you're having a fun start to your Thanksgiving break :goodvibes

Mony - Yay on your ME time! Glad you liked the movie. Hmmmm . . . I may go see it before reading the books.

Sending prayers for your uncle

Wendy - You and your Twilight Moms must have been thrilled to see the movie! :thumbsup2

Marita - Hope you can talk your DS into going with you!!!

Pumba - You're smart for getting that turkey thawing early I don't know how many times I have gone to cook my turkey and it was still frozen solid in the breast area :headache: We've been invited to my SIL's sister's home for Thanksgiving, so no cooking a turkey for me. I may just get a small turkey breast to have here at home though. I need to find out what I need to bring.

I just booked my towncar - decided not to hassle with the Mears shuttle. I'll probably stay at Pop my last night so I can take Magical Express. That way Mari will be able to take the towncar back to the airport.

Nabbie - Good thing you're able to take a suitcase for both of the kids. Can Hannah carry on one of her build a bears?

I measured my suitcase and it just meets the Airtran size limit if I don't use the expando zippers :rolleyes1 I went over the weight limit on my way home from WDW back in May - had to take a couple things out and put them in a tote bag to carry on and I accidentally left that bag at security, nearly missing my plane due to having to go back to security via the shuttle to get it

I'm going to try to pack lighter this time, but that's going to be hard with the weather having the potential to be variable. I'll definitely take fewer shoes.

Peej - Glad you had fun with your company! Do you have your photo outfit all ready to take?! Is Paco Bell your cat?

Sandy and Allie - We miss you! Hope all is well :grouphug:

Moo, I doubt my son will go with me. he is only here for 4 days. He has friends to visit. I wouldn't even ask him. Not a great time to ask him to see a chick flick with his mother, LOL. I'll survive if I dont see it till On Demand (I NEVER check that) or DVD (never check that either). So maybe in 4 years when it's on TV.

But I am seriously considering taking Wednesday off. He gets here Tuesday night, and likely will be gone much of the day, but still. I think I want to be home that day. I won't see him much for years to come....

The coldest day I ever spent at any theme/amusement park anywhere was when we were at WDW in January 2003. There was one day that stay where the high was about 34 and it SNOWED in Orlando (it had been over 13 years since there had last been ANY recorded snow)! It was WARMER in Kansas City than in Orlando for about half of the days on that weeklong trip. Click here to read the National Weather Service report on that day.

Well, there's a first time for everything. Oh! You meant you cleaned your residence. I thought you meant, uh, well, never mind.

Monkey ladies are ALWAYS fun!

One Christmas Eve, I forgot when, it was so cold that the electricity turned off. Could not make the turkey. So I ended up serving rolls and cold cuts to my extended family. No Turkey, no sidedishes, no hot rolls, nothing!

Brrrrr, Rob! I think my hubby and I were at WDW earlier in that month. Our first several days were fairly warm in the afternoon but the last couple were pretty chilly at night.

I remember buying rain ponchos (to cut the chill of the wind) and gloves for me and my daughter when we went in December 1998 so we could stay at MK to watch a night-time parade. This time I'll be taking my own gloves and earmuffs. I just sent an e-mail to Mari tonight to remind her that the weather can be variable in December and to be sure to pack gloves, etc.

40 or below that even in the 30s would be warm in Maine but for some reason....the cold air in Florida was brutal. We walked around MGM studios to see all the lights and some lady offered me money for my mittens.....the stores were sold out .......
Which reminds me .......we bought these rolled up chairs type things from LL Bean and you take them out of the bag and sort of blow a little.......the seat has a back to it too........we bought these because the bleachers at Fantasmic always killed our backs....funny thing is people offered us money for those too.....and some asked for the name of them from Beans......they dont make this type anymore ....so ours are classic..

the sun is out and my hubby is out with his friends hunting.....he has this week off too.....

Moo: First off, my apologies for missing your post. But I have a good excuse. See, I have dial up and when I was loading twink's pics of baby gabe-y the screen kept scrolling and any and all posts that i read that day were only partially read due to my moving screen. I would like to thank PJ for pointing out that I missed your other post and inform her maybe somebody ELSE can watch Paco Bell while she is in Florida.:snooty:

p.s. The cats name is Paco. She tried to name him Oliver, but that just wouldnt do. :rolleyes1

Oh and we did come to a consensus on what PJ was going to name her offspring: Jezebel, Judas, Cain, and Delilah.

I read your posts, no time to respond today. I need to meet my goal of smelling nice and then I'm headed to the "twilight" movie with all those crazy nurses.

we originally planned a girls NIGHT out, but so many of us were off today that we decided a girls afternoon out would be just as fun.

Have a great day y'all.

Morning!

Moo is there any weather related info on our stay yet?

It might be too soon.

I'm hoping for highs in the mid-60s to the low 70s and it looks like that would be typical. Anything would be better than this white stuff we're getting today!

bbn - I figured your dial-up must have been the problem! I get that scrolling issue on my hand-held when there are photos or graphics. Thanks for the Paco confirmation. Hope you have a lovely day with the gaggle of nurses!!!

I'm home from work today, so only two days of work this week for me! :yay:

Moo- Twinkie thanks you for that useful post.

I got my MAGICAL EXPRESS tag today. w00ty w00t w00t!

Less than 20 hrs until inlaws arrive. Only 8 days till the First Birthday Grand Gathering Bashapalooza.

When am I going to make homespun crafts like autograph books and matchy matchy hairbows?

When am I going to conquer the laundry monster? rid the house of wall to wall hot wheels? do the breakfast dishes that are still out???

I was busy today taking my little pixie to get her teeth pulled. :scared: Pediatric dentists rock. She never saw all the scary stuff but I did. :faint:
Also I went by my new workplace to do some paperwork. Goldenchild thinks college is awesome because every office we had to visit gave him stuff like gum, tootsie roll pops, official letter head to color on with real ink pens while I did stuff.

I wonder if the wenchy nurses day out resulted in the need for a legal team. :rolleyes1

No snow here yet but we are getting rain. I am afraid it will turn into freezing rain and Hannah has Brownies tonight.

It is not fun trying to get packing list made, Christmas shopping, kids homework, Christmas party coming on on the weekend ( that in itself is going to be crazy since we have to get the kids to the inlaws first and Buddy because he is staying there while we are away) .

And when did panty hose get so darn expensive. :sad2: I hate the things but I can't go bare legged to the Christmas party, too cold with a dress.

I think I am stressing. I feel for you Twinkie, having to get all the kids ready. How many suitcases do you take?

I to remember a very cold January. I could have used my winter coat for one of those days. I think it got down to 42 or something.
