Mony - We really need to set up a lunch meet or something before our trips. Have you got any weekend days free? My daughter is heading back to NC on the 20th, so any time after that would work for me if you're interested :upsidedow

Yes, I'd really would love to get together. But my dates are the 10th-19th.

Thanks lil G. Many thanks.:goodvibes

today is the big football game that we are hosting and yet the organizers seem to really have dropped the ball with recruiting parents to help. so I am just going and saying, where do you need me.

After the dance classes.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Morning everyone!

Camden was asking if we could go to Mommyp's house. I think the idea of playing with 5 boys has interested him.

I told him she lives in Florida.

"That's where disney land is!"
:rotfl:
Close enough.

"Is Cinderella real?"
At Disney World she is.

On the agenda for today:
Pumpkin carving
soccer game
corn maze
going to get my sewing machine so we can start our purse business. :cutie:
going shopping for two girls who need clothes
laundry
smelling nice
maybe homework
clean the house some. maybe.

It has been crazy the last few days. School stuff, church dance was last night and Hannah and I went shopping for a present for my niece, all my errands because everything will be closed up on Monday.

I have been getting ready for the weekend. We are going to my mom's after hubby gets home from work tonight.

Can't wait I will probably gain 5 pounds....:lmao: pumpkin pie, cheese cake , other yummy desserts. My mom goes all out. Got to love Thanksgiving with family. Some of which I haven't seen since the summer.

Celery-- That is one long list of things to do today. Wash is my agenda today because Nicholas wants his favourite shirt to wear to Grandma's.

Mony-- love your little pictures. You have a busy day ahead too.

Mommy P-- loved the video of the boys and Isaac taking steps. Before you know it he will be running and you well be saying sit down.

BH-- you will be in Disneyland before you know it. :woohoo:

Wonder what Marita is doing on this Saturday? Hope she is eating over there and got to drink her German beer .

It is a beautiful fall day here the sun is shining and it is actually warming up. The trees are all colourful too. :goodvibes

Hope everyone has a Great Saturday!

Happy Thanksgiving, Nabbie!!! Have a wonderful holiday with your family!

Mony - My daughter is heading down to NC October 20! I just meant that we should try to find a day to have lunch after she leaves and before our trips in December. Sort of a pre-WDW meet meet!

 Hi, Cel and Hayden! Hope you have a fun weekend.

MommyP - Looks like your little guy is ready to run ;) So cute!

Wish I could join you at the beach. But it's a pretty nice day here. Mari and I are heading over to my cousin's restaurant later this afternoon for an early dinner. The trees are still fairly green around here, but we're starting to see splashes of color here and there. Maybe we'll do a little shopping while we're out too.

hello Hayden.......I am Marie and I live in Maine.......the trees are changing a pretty color and fall is in the air.....

Nab the day is just gorgeous here too.......I love this time of the year when its not super hot or mega cold......nice in between.....

Hubby and doggie are outside cleaning up the soil that hubby just rotor tilled...it is where our pool was this past summer.......UNEVEN......now hopefully it will be even.....

Hi kids!

It's raining today, and I swear there was some snow flakes falling too. :yay:

Which I loooove till it comes time to shovel.

My quest today was to find the backing to go for my disney quilt.
I just wanted to use a flat sheet without buying a whole sheet set. Or, find some fabric I can piece together. 9 yards at aprx. $4 per yard is kind of steep. Norah wants a Princess themed quilt and Jordan wants all black and white with Jack Skellington incorporated into it. The boys just want "all Disney" which is easy-peazy. I also want to sew some cooking aprons that are all the rage in Utah.

For the back of my quilt, I'm thinking of either a teal/turquoise color or red based on the majority of colors in the quilt. :confused3 I'll know it when I see it, I'm hoping. :confused3

I'm off to go work out. I'm planning on 90 mins - 2 hours since I missed 2 days this week. I have this crazy size-smaller-by-Thanksgiving goal looming and I HATE to fail at a goal.

Have a blessed Sunday tomorrow!!!! :grouphug: Love you guys!

<--------------smacks her head! Doh! Of course Cheryl. I'm game.

You can do it Wendy! You are on a roll hot mama!

LilG: Mal and I play a game all the time and its all centered around our memories of disney. I just love it and I hope thats what she'll always remember.

Hi Hayden  Did you have fun today? You are so lucky to be on Fall Break. I don't get Fall Breaks, so you must be very special.:cool2:

Morning everyone!

So cute.

The beach was fun. Beautiful clear blue sky. It's not as hot as it was int he summer and the water has cooled slightly(it's down to an almost freezing 82 degrees. lol) Isaac had to be held all day though. He will not tolerate the sand touching him and he won't even sit on a blanket that is sitting on the sand. It's just too close for him. :lmao: He was good though. Happy to just sit quietly on my lap.

I guess Twinkie's sling didn't come today. Hopefully Monday then. Let me know AS SOON AS IT ARRIVES! :cutie:

Cel: Sorry for your rough day. I hope tomorrow is better.

Zach's football team FINALLY won a game! They did so well. I was so proud. And it was on our home turf. So they are 1 and 5. He played just about the entire game and the coach said, Zach I wish half of the kids were as focused as you.

He's been begging me all week to cut his hair and put his number on the back of his head. So last night, for the love of football and everything that goes along with superstitions and FOOTBALL, I did.

I shaved into the hair of my own son his jersey number 77. I'll have to take a picture.

So, you know what that means don't cha?

Especially now that they won????

Thankfully there is only 2 games left this season.

I just hope next season he has a NICE number, cause I'm already thinking ahead.

I got my new lenses today and can see so much better already. The lady who did them said my prescription doubled in my one bad astigmatism eye. I haven't noticed that thing messing with my vision like with the old lenses and my headache went away.

So hopefully this is nothing or that big of a deal.

I updated my trip report.

Have a good night.

No package today. Though I sat by the mailbox all day. ;) And I don't think the mail runs on Canadian Thanksgiving/Columbus day/federal holiday yet our state is open.

Thanks for all the useful wallpaper advice. I tried the vinegar and it did help take off the layer that was already coming off. All the websites (natural handyman, bob villa, etc) agree that in my situation it may be better to paint over the paper even though they don't generally reccomend such a lazy/shoddy solution.

To recap- my house is 25ish years old. Toadily 80s builder put up wallpaper on the wallboard type drywall without priming or sizing or painting. The wallpaper is taking the drywall down with it. Ack.

I have spent the afternoon re-mudding the one wall that I was so foolish as to try to get the original wallpaper off. Ugh.

It is kind of fun to learn something new but did I mention that the DH is a perfectionist? I am on my 3rd layer of mud and he assures me that one more ought to do it.

The wall looks much better but I think a faux painting technique is going to be needed. Or a pretty big poster.

Other news:

Loved the Lil Isaac walking video. Wish I was tecno-smart and could post one of Grasshopper. He is so stinkin' cute toddling along.

We went to a local cider mill for our Fall Family Fun. I took pictures but the light changed and they didn't turn out as great as I had hoped. Plus the photo evidence revealed that I really really need to quit thinking about dieting and actually lose a size by Thanksgiving (tm Utahmama).

Monica- too funny about the haircut.

GOOD MORNING!

What a beautiful weekend here! Hope everyone else is having the same weather but sounds like it's snowing already in Utah.

Monica...Way to go on the number shaving! You are the coolest mom in town!

Wendee....Keep the quilt princess-y! (Jack Skellington  ) Tell Jordan hello! We have Bakugan too but DS has been taking them to school. They aren't outlawed yet. And....snowing? Already? Quick....make some chili!

Twinkie.....Punkin farm fotos? Pleez? :flower3:

Hayden!
Hi! :wave2: Keep bugging Amber to take you to Disney World! It won't take much bugging....I promise!

Mommyp.....That was the cutest lil video ever. The boys are so sweet, following Isaac along and helping him. They are all just precious!

Moo....Just busy....I promise.

LYnette.....:wave2:

Everybody else
.....:wave2:

HAVE A BLESSED SUNDAY, ONE AND ALL!

“Listen to advice and accept instruction, and in the end you will be wise. Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails.”
- Proverbs 19:20-21

4 more sleeps - I"m very distracted!!

DH went to work came home at 4am!! I have no idea what time dd went to bed!! She was working on "waving" her hair (small braids wet hair!)

Twilight Question DD wants to be "Bella" for Halloween - any suggestions? (she will have the bracelet!) (this summer it was a pirate, I bought the costume!!)

Hayden definitely needs her own working ID.
I would not have defined our day as "ruff."
I thought it was fun!
Without Bill, we would have been lost in the corn maze. He is definitely good at reading a map.
And we got some cool clothes for the girls we were buying stuff for.
I decided not to go to church today. The hour drive there and back is kind of tiring.
and expensive.

melinda - I can't take Hayden to disney world right now. Her mom is planning on taking them this summer.
:(
Good for them, sad for me!

so I'm trying to convince Bill to take us on a Carnival cruise instead. :)
Hayden's working on him too.

Mony yay for the new prescription!! and I had to chuckle at the haircut - btdt with my boys - I got real good with the razor!! Fun times, miss them I do!!

Twinkie uggg on your wallpaper issues, we moved here, and dd room had a boring wallpaper (kinda stripes, but tan/taupe - some flowers in it) well she wanted a more painted blue room... so fine, until it took 2 weeks, and maybe 20 hours getting the darn paper off!! We bought the solution the walpper stoer reccomended after giving up on vinegar water solution, and using that razor circular thingy - to little aide!! We rented a steamer, and still, it just came off in teeny tiny pieces, and all around the center of the room, no matter what you could see a 3 foot piece, that no matter what, we pulled off the dryboard paper!! it was insane!! So then we had to go buy all that drywall clay stuff.... then you have to sand it down... :sad2: WHAT A MESS!!

so I feel your pain!! I'd vote for painting over it !

Hayden What's up for tomorrow?

Good Morning!

I have an interview today.

I have to interview someone who immigrated to our country. Then write up a 6 page paper about it.

Good thing my neighbor is from Poland. Saved me a lot of crapski.

Wendy: I really need to get back to focusing on my health! Help! I wish I could pm you.

Sandy: Edward loves Bella in Blue. Most of the book stores had book release parties that encouraged us to wear prom dresses.

Has she read all the books yet? I don't want to spoil anything with my other suggestions.

Madelyn's top 4 teeth are all coming through at the same time. Yea on the teeth, boo on ALL 4! No wonder her nose has been a mess for over 2 weeks.

Zach has one of those Bouncin Kidz Birthday parties to go to, so maybe some errands will be completed at that time. Maddy needs a good pair of walking shoes since that should be happening any day. She'll stand unaided and stand up all on her own.

Have a blessed day!
