Hey, WT, didn't you just visit? Where's your NEW Disney pic??! :confused3  :snooty:

Marita - Your problem is that it isn't crunch time yet! Procrastination panic just hasn't set in yet ;)

Sandy, sorry your DD is  I'm with Allie - goog thing you have time to get over anything you may have caught. Get some vitamins/Airborne/chicken soup going. STAT!

Allie - OUCH! Not again?!

L - Sounds like you got the better end of the deal in not having to go to that reception! :)

Mony - Fingers crossed for that A in biology :thumbsup2

Lil G - So now we need to go look on the Parks board???!! :lmao:

Lex - Isn't it a pain having to let our DD's become independent? :rolleyes1

Twinkie thanks you for that useful post. You know who you are.

You are so right MOO, But its mounting! I called the airline to fix my ohone number. It was off by one digit.

Goog morning!

Got up early to greet my sittee and then I got a call from her Mom saying she decided she was going to be super late for class so she wasn't going. Now I'm up early and out $25.

It rained so much last night that my already too wet yard is now under water. Again. :headache:

We are going to have to invest in some serious dirt to build a garden mountain when we go it. Otherwise it's going to be flooded. We would have NEVER bought this property if we had known it was going to flood. But we had been in such a dry spell for a few years that when we looked at it before we bought it it was high and dry. Now that they put our house on it, which is built up like 4+ feet it's low and flow(ing) :p

No plans today except school and :laundy:

twinks - Ha. Sports collectibles indeed. I bet my Disney snowglobe collection will survive the depression! :lmao:

wt - :lovestruc

moo - I looked on the parks board and I still can't figure out who Lil G's nemesis is! :confused3

Morning all!
I'm in the office this week.
I worked all day yesterday and have some work to do today as well.
Then it'll be goofing off time! :cool1:

Lil G has a nemesis? On the parks board? I want in!

I was going to go back and read the whirlwinders TR's, but alas it seems he was royally ticked at the DIS because he went back and deleted all of his posts.

I guess I'll go sew instead.

Marita I'm rooting for you!!

Lexi Did you oversleep? and we have to let our dd grow up??

This morning dd and I (her temp is 99.7) were watching cartoons, and ad for a Princess Aurora (dd fav) Barbie WITH A HORSE... that winnies and walks - bonus, a fairy godmother comes with and changes Aurora's costume colors!! "aw too bad I'm too old" said dd while I was saying " I WANT ONE" :rotfl2: dd looked at me and burst out laughing!! We told dh, and sure 'nuf the commercial came back... dh said he would run right out and get one... :rolleyes1

(I wasnt kidding!)

oh dh now has the sniffles. He worked till 4am - and is at it again... I think the family vacations really put a strain on him!

I think I"ll go sew

DD is making goog use of her bday present from mil (a sewing machine) of course she waited till the advil kicked in and started sewing...

at 11PM!! MIL bought her a first sewing kit that included a patterned print for a tote and wallet, she was trying to make the wallet... and wasnt following directions!!

Twinkie - I have not been able to get to Joann's for thread yet. It's a 45 minute trip and we couldn't put gas in the truck this week(for an extra trip into town). So it's going to have to wait until hopefully this weekend. I haven't even been able to get into town to go to the bank to deposit your check.

Sandy - If by "what class" you are refering to my mention of school I meant only school(for my boys). I homeschool.

I found a pattern for fleece longies(pants diaper covers for at night) which is JUST in time Isaac has been getting cold at night for some reason. But I screwed it up the first time cutting out the pattern. There are no directions. Waaa!

Lil'g -- you have to give us a better hint or thread title. You know we are all looking.:lmao: A name would be good too.

W.T's -- you always look the same , how do you do it...:lmao: Your poor boy hasn't grown in inch.

Mommy P-- I sorry about your flooding. It has been raining here all day and isn't expected to quit for days. I forgot to say how I love that you play manhunt. My kids play this all the time in the dark. Nicholas usually gets mad because he hides in the garage and I come out and see him and talk to him and then they find him.

Marita-- I'm with the other leave the house work and just pack and get your hair and nails done.

MP- Don't worry about it. The sling is a want not a need.

Back to our regular conversation~
Weather: cold front here, nice and crisp but sunny :thumbsup2

What is for Dinner: :confused3 I don't know. My inner worrywart fears that the sky is really falling and is considering going Jack Mormon and stocking up on groceries this afternoon.

I was thinking you and your mom were getting together for a class, so I was being nosey Gladis...

ok people I'm FREAKING OUT!! :scared1: (and yes, I called the doctor before posting!! our appt is in 2 hours!)

DD still running a temp, a small sore throat.... no other symptoms... but I started to think . . . mono? So I ask her to lift her shirt :scared1: her lower rib cage area is swollen!! Why is it swollen? DD says "mom, its always been like that!" um honey, that's not normal! we're going to the doctor, and now she is in full blown panic attack...

Dear Chicken Little...I am making honey mustard pork tenderloin with roasted veggies and mashed potatoes for tonight's supper. Should I be busy canning fruit and stockpiling water in my basement instead? :scared:

Sandy...ACK! Saying a prayer for your DD...please keep us posted!

Sandy - Don't panic! It's just going to make her panic attack worse! One of you has to have enough air to drive!

big L - Yum! I'm coming to your house for dinner. Cuz yer house is on the way to Nab's house.
Ha!

I felt like Chicken Little this weekend. We were at our friend's house sitting on the back patio and acorns were attacking! :scared:
And big scary hornets too.

Sandy - Hope your Dr. visit will reveal what is ailing your DD.

CEL - I believe that is the name of the poster you are looking for. If you need more directions, send me a PM. ;)

Ok, I had to work today. It is time for the 4 year old Pumpkin Patch field trip. I usually don't work on Tuesdays, but this was the only time our director could get for us. We also had to do the later tour, starting at 10:45. We didn't get finished and back to the church building until 2:30. I had to run by the store to get a few things for our potluck at school tomorrow. I got home, and opened the door, and OMG!!!!!:scared1: It smelled like a skunk had gotten to my dogs. I couldn't imagine what happened. Well I went to let them out of their crates, and they had both pooped in their crates! :scared1: They have NEVER done that. At least not that I can remember. Anyway, it has been quite a mess to clean up. Trixie had a nice feather pillow (w/ pillowcase) that DH had bought for her to sleep on. RUINED! Shadow had a nice lambskin that she slept on. RUINED!

I sent an email to DH (since he wouldn't answer his cell phone) and asked if he came home for lunch because he usually does. NOPE! YIKES!!!! I think that may be a contributing factor along with the fact that I gave them turkey hot dogs for training class treats last night. I think it may have upset their tummies. :confused3 Anyway, their crate trays are soaking in my bathtub with hot water and bleach. Their crate covers, and Trixie's pillowcase are in the wash with Clorox 2, Oxyclean, and White Vinegar. I hope that gets the dirt and the "stink" out.

I am just worn out. That field trip always "zaps" all of my energy, but this on top of that has just beat me up. :headache:

If y'all have any more cleaning suggestions, let me know. I have sprayed the room with Neutra Air so as to help remove some of the "stink".

OH, and their crates are in my bedroom!:scared:

Cel, c'mon over....there's enough for visitors!

Yikes on the hornets! We have several nests of them around our property. Every year, DH fogs them, and every year they come back.

When I got home from work earlier, I saw the first stink bug of this Fall. ACK, ACK, ACK! I skeeve them so! They look like a cross between a cricket and a cockroach, and they FLY! :faint: Now I can't wait for the weather to turn colder so those little suckers all die!

Allie, no advice on the poop crates, but I wish you luck! :flower3:
