7. Moo: sorry about Cash. Our dog had a horrible time with her stitches after we got her spayed, they finally figured out that she was allergic to the stitches and they removed them and stapled her up, and she healed just fine. Unfortunately our vet bill was sky high and this was a dog someone gave to us, b/c they didnt want her anymore. So free, turned out not so free....

Celery-- lounging around in bed.... I can just see you all snuggled in bed with our computer while we rest of us are running around getting ready for the day. I for one would try to catch some extra sleep instead.

Lynette--get our cookies twice a year they tell me. This time round it is the Mint ones only.

Pumba-- hope your granddaughers hives go away. I am so glad I am passed all kinds of school testing.

Lil'g -- I think I found the report you were talking about. You had some rowdy people on that cruise and some pretty bored kids or something. I still can't believe the kids on top of the elevator, who would do that or the kids on the stairs talking about rolling down them scaring people that they would get knocked down. It wasn't you in the Thong was it....

Moo-- Poor Cash. But he will be in good hands with you and hubby.

Marita-- you didn't make it to P.I., that is too bad I didn't need that dessert anyway. And I hear on the wrapping paper, magazine subscriptions etc. that kids have to sell.

We are doing a power hour today and the kids had to get pledges. No selling this year but how do you ask people for pledges when it goes to our school and they don't get anything from it. So in this case we gave them both a donation that was enough to get them into the draws.

to be fair, I did some work while I was lounging. I answered email and reduced my inbox from the 500 messages I had before.

People just keep sending me email! Argh! You'd think they'd get the hint when I ignore them.
Keep in mind that 90% of these were work emails.

wear......smoth -sole shoes....unless you have a "cushion"..for your
bottom. 3 incidents...of those requiring extra medical attention..where
they left the cruise early.

teaching 1st grade (or substituting) is HARD work. and a girl cried today! (I wanted to turn to another kid and say, "this is why I'd rather teach jr hi... Ikept my mouth shut!! she didnt want to go to the afterschool club care!)

DD stayed after school for an art club. Its 5pm and I have no dinner, nor ideas (I was supposed to go to the farmer's market - fresh tomatoes, and corn, and the local cow people bring good beef!! its in a commercial freezer truck - and they usually have a crock pot going with a recipe for something delish.. but no, I had to go earn money instead of spend it!!

I am 1) TIRED 2) Thankful that my exam week is over. I feel I did well today on the Biology exam, but, who knows! I did earn 6 extra points today, that's good cause her whole grading system is based on points.

I am just chilaxing with a crabby 1 year old. She wants to be held, but doesn't so it's on my lap off my lap and I can't be more than 2 feet away from her.

I was really inventive for supper......put one pound of cooked burger in a casserole dish.....two cans of corn ....one creamed and one whole corn.....then potatoes on top of that....put in oven and cook for another twenty or so minutes......its called chinese pie......

just came back from doing grocery shopping....got a ham, some more burger and we have probably thirty or so dinners of chicken breasts down in the freezer......also another fifty or so pounds of moose......I guess I should get rid of some of that and cook it up .....well not all at once.....

we are in for some major water this weekend.....another storm coming up the coast....a road between my sons home and ours...about 15 miles or so.....went by by.....washed into the river.....it is also the back road that my hubby uses to go to work so he avoids the major highways......sooooooo the state is busy fixing that up ....

Lil G......want me to go and pumbarize someone.....I could you know......the pig is a pumbarizer.......

Cash update: The infection was worse today, so he had to go back to the vet's office today and they kept him overnight so they can re-do his sutures Poor boy.

Tomorrow, Mari's heading back to DC (and maybe Maine for part of her trip) to visit friends for TWO WEEKS!

I never give the teacher a hard time. And for the last few years they haven't even deserved it. I knew it was picture day. I got the forms. And the notes. Times two. I even wrote it on my calendar. I wasn't going to buy any but I was going to pay special attention to hair and wardrobe choices. However I just forget. Must be the lack of chocolate in my life. Or drivel-n-dreck deprivation.

I love our farmer's markets too. One is especially hippy with fresh produce and incense and homemade soap and people bringing their dogs on leashes. One is very yuppy with organic honey and $6.00 lemonade in a full cup of ice and jazz music. I love both opposites equally!

The Cash Report: DH picked him up this afternoon and he seems to be doing better. The swelling doesn't seem as bad now. bbn, he had staples in his knee but maybe there were also some sutures? Anyway, the vet said to make sure we keep his cone on him and start putting Neosporin on the incision twice a day. He is sitting on a blanket on the sofa next to "Grampa" right now.

I went out to dinner for Chinese food with my cousin tonight to discuss which days she's coming to WDW. She heads down to her place in Florida on Sunday and I think she's going to the parks with me Tuesday - Thursday and Mari will be there Sunday - Monday-ish when I'm down there in December
