cruising...don't get the wrong idea..the way ..i see it..anytime..there's
a group of people.."people problems" are sure to pop up! and since iam
alotted "practice"..@ work..makes..it easy..to cope with those inviting
their intrusive....actions...kind like skeeters..& pinics.

do cruising!...do dcl!...yes, not cheap..but there's also bargains.....and
it is something...any family..won't regret...* that only require a lil'
planning.

funny..i read....how so many..are complaining....& yet..they expected
disney..to act on their behalf.....* note..disney's offical policy is to
make everyone happy..so they are not....going to act in anyone behalf,

..offending the other guest..no matter what. soooooooo common sense
....why not employ....a few simple..corrective measures..of you own?
he,he,he, ...& don't get tangle..up..woith utter nonsense. ( wow--
i can't beleive...how many...complants..were even worth....noting...
except..there were a few....that shouldn't been ignored.)

..her's 2 that really..got my attentions..[ though i never saw them ]. one
diser...was in front of the threater....& when they opened the doors...
....some of the upper class [ ] ..rammed him into the doors.
second...a father..lost his cool...and "dunked"..one of his kids...@
castawy cay. * he could have "hurt" his son..without realizing it.

funny..or snot!..the majority..either tolerated..or offered no assistance.
..except..to get on the boards..& blow!. * then i see one poster..who
wasn't there...during several incidents....making up her own stories.
...as you kno..poeple do attention seeking...but some....chose to do so,
"put others down"..are usually very, very insecure. [body image]


fyi.....i was on one of the elvator...& had the pleasure..meeting a well-
manner teenager...& she had her ll'sister. this eenager..was teaching
her younger sister....good manners...regarding the elvator. very
impressive..young lady!

..not all mistakes/frustrating incidents...end up...as an unhappy endings.
* if others.."practiced"...the disney's spirit. in line to see ally/aj [ some
kind of disney's shows...actresses/singers....we were given..# 75. the
family..behind..had a lil'girl [ 5-6y/o] & big fans...., then one of the crew..
informed..us ..their cd's were already gone! the lil' girl, bursted into

....just by chance...i had a limited edition, hollywood pin....she
lked..& comforted her disappointment. her mother..was so grateful..that
she gave me..a special pin..of her own.."they're from new york..& she
told..me..disney made...special pins..regarding..9/11'. now wasn't that
neat?

ps, dcl..crew..had som trouble..with this....."event"....the line stretched...
from the front..to the end..of the ship. . it was scheduled...@
2pm....however, they started lining up @ 10 am... . alot of guests..
were ...left out..* i later meet a nice guy..@ guest services..he had
3 girls..but only one was old enough..& was fan. however, there was
no way..he could .....stay..in the line..."he told me #500. to us, this
was just something to do....& jordan..wasn't her favorites.....so later
when we talked..about it...she offered her autograph picture & program
to the lil'girls. we got..guest services...to delivered them,.."with an added
note"...the girls..wanted them ..to have it.

..the father....somehow..made the connection..as he toook the trouble
to track..us down.."he had to thank us". ha! i told him..we were happy
to shared...!

..wanta hear..one of favorite..disney's secrets? hemp? ...i
collecting all the disney junk..i can...then @ christmas time...we visit
big brothers/sisters.......for them to give..as christmas gifts.
* that..& ...shoppping..for clearance.....clothing [ coats/gloves],
....each year.

remeber..jus because..iam exposed.to life dynamics..dosen't mean i
hve them mastered..i have to worked hard....[ don't think..i let
those intruding..into my family happy space..were ignored.... ]
i toren into them...with my professioinal interventions..that shocked
others..he,he,he....my lil'sweetie...told...me ..."you going to get
us barred". ahhh but in my element~ " ..som "acted "..as
if they never..seen a corective measuree..in their life,
oyer..that's privileged..well....let me..educate....with limit settings
and reality-re orientation.

however, the above...are things important for me..because early in
life....& thru my many journals.." others gave me gifts....that changed
my life..." so it is important..to pass their "caring on". very much
like all the things..you're doing here!

BigL...I do admit that the homework situation in laljack land sounds a little excessive. I send homework home on Mondays and it's due back on Fridays. It consists of a math packet, a reading log (30 minutes per night required), and various activities to be completed with the spelling words from that week. Bring Boris on down to Louisville and I'd be more than happy to educate him.
As far as looking pitiful yet deserving...I minored in that!!! I can totally pull that one off.

Twink...glitter??!! WHERE??!! SOMETHING SHINEY!!!!!! Ahem. I mean, yes, I would love glitter. Glitter will surely get me far in life. And perhaps I'm "challenged," but I see no tshirts. Just sayin

Lex...I'll be in Florida December 24-January 4. So, yes, I'll be there for my birthday. BUT, there is a slight glitch. We will be in Disney from the 24-29, then Disney's Vero Beach Resort the 29-Jan. 2 and then back to Disney for 2 more nights. So, I'll be spending my actual birthday at the beach. I have been in Disney for NYE the past 5 or 6 years and yes it is super, super crowded. When we go at that time of year, we're there to see the decorations, go to the spa, visit with my sister, etc. We're not there to go to the parks. Too crowded. If you can, I would say wait till after New Year's to go.
Oh. And there are special fireworks. 360 fireworks in the Magic Kingdom. We did go into the park for just fireworks one year and I was speechless!! SO BEAUTIFUL!!! They set them off December 30 as well as the 31st. Also, you have a pretty goog view of the NYE Epcot fireworks from the bridge b/w Yacht/Beach Club and Boardwalk. Okay, I'll stop. Sorry, that's just my favorite time of year!!

Sandy...I guess I'm dumb because I don't get it. Why would they ban glitter? As far as I know we're allowed glitter AND birthday treats, but the treats must be store bought.

Favorite moment of the day: journal prompt was "if you could be any character from a book, movie, or tv show, who would you be and why?" One of my second grader's answers: "I would be Hannah Montana because she so totally fly." It made me laugh, and that's what counts. At least pretend to laugh with me.

I'm off to study. Yes, I thought my studying days were over, but I was mistaken. To make a long story short, I have to take another praxis test in order to get my actual teaching certificate. Right now I am teaching under a provisional license. The certification processes in Ohio and Kentucky are different, so I have to pass one more test. That'll be Saturday morning. Don't get me started.

Allie - You're getting quite a colorful lot of fish! Is your other procedure Friday? Too lazy to read back.

Yes, it is tomorrow. I can drive myself to the procedure and home from the procedure. They say it isn't as invasive as last week, so drugs aren't required for tomorrow's procedure. Although, I still have them on hand in case they are need for the recovery period. Also, I will drive myself to the Dr. AFTER working at preschool all day working for the two year old teacher who ended up in the hospital today. I've got to call her and find out how she's doing. I just called her, and she is ok, but is going to be on blood thinner for life. They are going to have the hematologist look at her tomorrow.

Allie....That fish in the picture looks like a non-living specimen. I hope yours in alive and swimming! I love fish! They don't shed or barf and make almost no mess. Good move on the aquarium.

Yes it IS still alive. Yes, and they don't have allergies, or require expensive visits to the VET, which some little Jack/Rat is gonna need very soon. Man, my first paycheck has been payed to Dr.s.

Found out earlier this week that my procedure tomorrow is MOSTLY covered by insurance. The ultrasound is covered, but the stuff he injects into my veins is NOT, and it is $150 a VILE!!! I asked the nurse and she said that the Dr. typically uses several. Now, in my world, several has always meant three or more. Well, I plan to have a discussion with said Dr. before anything is injected into my leg.

Oh, and it has been a terrible day. When we left for church last night, my walking neighbor, from across the street, stopped me to say that something serious was going on at the top of our street. She said this because the Fire truck had already been by, and I could here the ambulance sirens. Her son, said he could see the firemen working on the man through their glass door. Well, when we left for church the ambulance was already at their house. I never heard anything else, and nobody knew anything this morning. I saw the wife's car in the driveway along with the son's, who had just left for college. When I left for work, I saw more cars, and had a funny feeling about it. Well, I called her while I was on my way to work, and she told me that her husband had a heart attack and died. I feel so bad for her. I don't know her that well, but my heart breaks for her. Well, I got the morning walking ladies together, and we did a meal for them today. I hope it brought her some peace to not have to worry about dinner.

Well, my coworker called me after work and told me that after her Dr. visit (she had been having pains in her legs since we ran our 10K on 8/30), they called her back (she was almost home) and told her to come back to the ER, and that they were probably going to admit her. 1. Yes, the homework level is excessive, IMO. But I must say (in the interest of full disclosure) that Boris' teacher gets all the 3rd graders who need to be challenged, lest they grow bored of the standard 3rd grade curriculum. Last year's teacher specifically requested this teacher for Boris (she told me this at the end of last school year). That said, I still think all that homework PLUS one project per week PLUS the mandatory reading leaves little room for other necessary pursuits, such as eating, sleeping, and being a kid. Oy.

Moo - I like to make mine with 2 1/2 yards. I'm a short gal, I don't want one too long, but some ladies like them with a tail down to their knees. Those are a popular brand. pslings are even more. One is actually $1200. I guess it's because the linens and silks they use are super fare and nice. Not something you can just get online. I'll never know what they are like in person though. lol

Luther - I'm with you on the no sleep. I had a glass of Dr. Thunder around 8:30 and that was stupid. I was up all night.

Itching like crazy at that.

We haven't been able to get rid of this stupid ringworm since July. Next week the 2 older boys have check-ups, I am demanding something prescription strength to get rid of this. Plus 4 of the boys have it on their scalps and have hair loss from it. My head itches like CRAZY, I'm afraid I have it too.

This morning I have a girlfriend coming over. We were friends in high school and then she went off to college and when she came back we went to different churches. Then we came back to the same church again, but now she's going to a different church again. However, she is moving from where my church is(45 minutes away at best) out closer to where we live.

I'm going to help her order cloth diapers this morning.

Which reminds me, Wendy, did you ask me to PM you my address?

I had a patient and when I walked in to introduce myself, she said "Hey. We are naming our baby Elisabeth. Except we are going to spell it with an S!" and then she looked at my name tag and said "I've never seen anybody else spell it that way." And then when I looked at her name bracelet I noticed that we were born on the same day of the same month of the same year!!! Isn't that a coinkydink?

I dont believe in coinkydinks though. I think all things happen for a reason. (and there's my philosophical thought for the day)

I havent done a post like that in a blue moon. I know y'all feel special now. It's been crazy around here lately. (and literally crazy at work. I have had THREE bipolar patients in the last week or so. plus I had a 14, a 15, and a 16 yr old all in one day. I said we need to rename our floor the pediatric psych unit and not the mother/baby unit!!)
