My daughter made it home around 8:00 tonight!!!

I was working most of the afternoon cleaning and clearing out space in our laundry room to put the exercise bike that is currently in her room I only got it about a third done. We're going to work tomorrow night on moving stuff around in there so it'll fit, then I'll do the rest of the vacuuming.

Once she got home, we had to go out and pick up some groceries so she'd have stuff here that she likes to eat. It's so nice to have her home!

I can't hang my diapers out to dry today because it's cloudy. How am I going to get the stains out?

Chad starts school tonight. He needs lots of prayer. It's a lot of math and he has no memories of math at all from school. His teachers really failed him. He had no idea how to subtract 63-28. I am going to have him watch some of the lessons from the boys math and do some worksheets to help him remember. Surely they taught how to borrow from the 10s in Harlem Ga.

I went to check my hurricane supples. Candles, for one. And I bought an oil lamp after the last ones. I found the oil, but not the lamp!!!!
Found a fancy candle that DH bought. He said he got it for me and both kids (one each) last Xmas, but I don't remember that. Anyway, in the process, I managed to make half a shelf of stuff from the top of the hall closet fall down, shattering a glass vase! OK, fine, that much less clutter!
But for some reason DH wanted me to vacuum, as he had no want to get glass splinters in his feet

So I guess it worked out ok, I needed to vacuum anyway.
DH thinks that Fay will miss Florida. Not that he is an an expert . But from his lips.........

What's wrong with love bugs???? They are harmless, and make Love, not war!!!!!

I have a list of what's wrong with Love-Bugs. #1 being they love my hairspray. #2 is I INHALED one once. #3 is they taste yucky (I know this for a fact). #4 is they are swarming during "value season"

Maybe they should let-loose a crap load of bats to take care of Florida's love bug problems?

No. Southern Utah. Your tax dollars at work. I had a summer job surveying bat species and habits for the Forest Service. I think I made $10 a day. I lived in a truck rejected by the Air Force (good enough for the Forest Service) as we drove all over. Let's just say that some places we stayed didn't even have out houses.

The funniest part is that I turned down the Disney College Program for this job.
